I usually would give 5 stars to my review for Cross County but with my recent visit this week it just felt very different. This Mall is normally very refreshing clean environment where you feel safe walking around while shopping and eating. This time was different there was a lot of teenagers. (Let me keep it real a bunch of Little YN's) I mean from the minute you parked your car you had a groups of teens smoking weed in the parking lot in between cars. There were different groups of 5-6 teens just walking around talking loud and being very obnoxious throughout the mall. It was never like that before having so much unsupervised teens. Definitely did not see a lot of security as prior visits so honestly I got my stuff and kept it moving. With how these teenagers are acting these days you see crowds of them and you just know it's time to go. read more

HomeGoods and Marshalls are so-so. Parking is a l'il horrendous considering NO ONE follows the arrows marking the direction of traffic. Microcenter is OK; best when you order online and just run in and pick up. Liquidators is ok if you know what to buy. You'll probably walk out of there more pissed off by the service you received and the inconsiderate patrons that you have to contend with. With that said, you'll probably find what you were looking for or at least an equivalent. There's no other store I would want to visit and we normally don't venture there unless it's to visit a specific store for a specific reason. No window shopping... read more

Terrible selection of stores. Hopelessly dim and musty, despite what looks to be a fairly recent makeover. To pinpoint the vibe, it feels like a Soviet mall circa 1975 on a really great day. As for the clientele, all I can say is that I saw lots of really low hanging jeans. Unless you're dying to go to Auntie Anne's Pretzels or the Powerhouse Gym, I can't really think of a reason why'd you want to shop here.There are plenty of better shopping options in Westchester. read more

This place has SportAuthority and TJMaxx, the other stores are home goods and some kids clothing store. ON the outside there is a MicroCenter but thats it for the mall. There is no longer an "inside" part of the mall to get to different shops. It's still under construction in a lot of spots, National Wholesale Liquidators is still not open, and the entire set-up is just odd. I went in to Century 21, and asked a young woman working on the floor if there was an interior part of the mall anymore where I could find a restaurant and she said no, there are no restaurants at this mall anymore, and if you want to get to another shop, you have to go to the entry way, or go outside to another entrance. There are no signs or a map to lay out where everything is. There's no website in order to get any basic info about the place. It seems that there's a Century 21, a TJ Maxx, a Marshall's (which, come on, those are basically the same store), and the Micro Center, which is oddly placed for pedestrians to get to. I think there's a movie theater? Can't tell! I also think that Home Goods isn't there anymore. Again, can't tell because of the funky layout. I've gone there recently because Micro Center has good deals for computer supplies, but other than that, if you want "the mall experience" (or something to eat!), you'll need to go across the street to the Cross County Shopping Center. read more

This place is right next to the Cross County Center but its separate from it. They have stores like TJ Maxx, Sports Authority, a gym, a pretzel place, some discount home store (similar to linens and things) and like another store like TJ Maxx... actually i think theres a circuit city also.... i just go there for TJ Maxx... its really NOTHING special read more

You know what? I ain't mad at it. The Home Goods store is nicely packed. Marshalls is alright. I've been to better. None of the kiosk people hassle and harass me into looking at their products, which I do appreciate. This mini-mall is drab and kinda beat. The common areas all look dirty and dismal. Recently, it seems the TJX Company has totally taken over, as there is now the old TJ Maxx, the semi-old Home Goods, and the new Marshalls. Since I often see the same exact things in these stores, it doesn't make much sense to me, but...hey, who doesn't like Home Goods or Marshall's!? Aside from these 3, there is nothing else really here worth mentioning. The stench of Auntie Anne's pretzels fills the place. Constant meat-head traffic to that unctuous-looking gym on the first floor. At least coming here leaves you with a great excuse to stop by Micro Center or National Wholesale Liquidator (Nattie Ho's!!), since they all share the garage. read more

Defective/ Malfunctioning hardware! I purchased a hard drive a year ago... I was told it was one of their brands...went bad... item still in warranty; brought it back to store on Feb 8, 2016, they replaced it with another one that was supposed to be better; went home xferred data from back up external drive to computer -- time consuming! Exactly one week later I hear a clicking sound followed by the color wheel spinning continuously, didn't want to believe the same problem was happening all over again. Rushed over to Microcenter with my laptop and was told the hard drive was busted. 2 hard drives in one week? 3 hard drives total from this company? This is ridiculous! How long will the latest hard drive last? read more

For many years, this was the only mall that I knew (the Manhattan Mall is but a joke that I refuse to acknowledge) and we had to make the most of it. It was very different when I was a child, less people, less stores, more parking. Now, the place is currently expanding, but many of the stores on site are just plain wack! I hate the fact that its an open mall, but I can live with it if the store quality (and parking) increases. I hope to update soon, as the mall expands, and hopefully for the better. read more

I love outdoor malls since they remind me of the west coast ones. I came on Saturday and they had live holiday performances which was great. I enjoyed most of the stores except Express, we were waiting on line to pay for over half an hour. read more

I remember when this indoor mall first went up many years ago - it was exciting to think about something that would hopefully be like the White Plains Galleria, which was already on the way downward. Well, it became a huge disappointment. When the mall first opened, Crazy Eddies was the biggest name in the mall - back then, there was still hope, but in the last few years, there isn't even that sloppy Circuit City anymore. TJ Maxx at this location is dirty, I'm not a fan of Home Goods, the indoor gym should be used for retail space, and the rest of the stores are 'ho-hum like'. Sports Authority is ok, but would be nice if it was on the main floor, to lessen my time in that limiting mall. The computer store - Micro Center - which took over Circuit City's space, is a nice store with better prices on equipment than Best Buy and the only store to have such selections in the immediate area - unfortunately it's located on the top of the mall, outside on the roof of the parking lot. Outside the mall also features National Wholesale Liquidators. NWL is a dirty store, often busy, filled with people, slow cashiers, and generally is a burden to have to shop there. Once in a while, I go just due to the fact that NWL has pretty good prices on a lot of items - so the prices are almost worth the torture of navigating through the store and deal with the usually unfriendly staff there. English is almost a second language to a lot of the workers there, so know what you want in as few words as possible, or bring a translator with you. I've dealt with 2 of the managers before, and they were almost an abomination to managers everywhere with their behavior. I would've reported them to headquarters, but something tells me nothing would be done anyway. They were also there 6 years later, so apparently bad staff and management is a norm there. Again, if you want nicely priced items, then grab some patience and head over there, because you're going to need a lot of it. Don't expect too many quality brand names on certain items. An awful shopping experience.....except for the prices. I do miss the Channel and Rickell's that were there previously. There are a few eateries in here. The pizzeria is ok. There's a Subway and a few other areas as well. I've only eaten at the pizzeria and it wasn't bad. There are two entrances to the indoor parking garage. The lot usually fills up on the first level and at the top in front of Micro Center. Some people like to cut through areas as driving through the lot, so use caution when driving in here. Overall this "mall" is a disappointment. Always has been. If you're a TJ Maxx/Marshalls shopper, then this is good for you. I go here pretty frequently. I run through tj maxx for sick deals on stuff. Once in a while ill find soemtihgn really great in there. Like first layer snowboard gear was REAL cheap in December last year. Awesome. Also found a nice pair of goggles and you can find good jeans there. $32 for Ben Shermans is good. Shit im wearin em today. Sports authority is cool. I buy fishing stuff and snowboard stuff there. and there is usually hot chicks walking around. i swear. read more

There is nothing bad to say about this mall at all. Keep in mind when you hear Cross County Mall, that there are two sides. This side of the mall is where TJ MAXX, Marshalls, Home goods, Pizza in the square, Sports Authority, Payless, Subway, The gym (forgot the name of it), & about two other places, are located. .. There is three levels of parking so there is always parking available... Almost forgot MicroCenter, the computer and electronic store is upstairs. They have almost everything for computers and there prices are reasonable. read more

I love the variety of stores here and each store is quite huge . I agree marshals and tj maxx did suck! I came from New York City to this ? Blah. The other stores were awesome and fully stocked for the Black Friday weekend. Sales were good. Chipotle, Panda Express, pretzel, Cinnabon are about the few eating options here. Parking lot is huge. I like this spot- for a good sale!!!! Forever 21 , wet seal, h and M , express , children's place , Macy's , old navy , all the major spots and some minor ones are here ! read more

Memories, Memories, Memories... This was the closest mall WE KNEW when we were younger and it was the easiest one to come to. Not the same anymore... the mall has improved and expanded a bit more since our younger years but I agree you see some of the sketchy and boring stuff. It's been a long time I've visited here and what actually made my trip recently was remembering and running to Auntie Anne's. Yes I appreciate Aeropostale and H&M being here instead of going all the way downtown (I'm really close by) but they as well as some of the other stores lack some of the merchandise you can find downtown. It's very Bland! Let me not make them out to be the worse because they do have some fine stores and they carry some cool stuff but not necessarily for what I'm seeking. It's Okay. read more

This mini mall hasnt been updated in years. It hasn't fallen into disrepair- BUT it certainly is behind the times with no real chance at redemption. The stores are tired, as are the people. I go to three stores there, but never stay long. read more

Marshalls is this worst store here. I love marshalls in general but they always have a huge q and the manager doesn't care only 1 maybe 2 on the register. Go to a different one or downstairs to tjmaxx read more

The worst thing about this Mall is that nasty Yogurt/Ice Cream place right outside of TJ Maxx. I had smoothie and the dairy they used was all curdled. I totally got sick from it. When I told the owner Nick, he was a total jerk. read more

Great memories of shopping this large, open-air shopping center during the 1980s is one thing I will never forget about this place. While it has been transformed tremendously since the late 1990s, when the main clientele either came from Mount Vernon or the North Bronx, the place still has charm as it remains one of the few open-air malls left in the metropolitan area. The Macy's store (formerly Gimbels, then Sterns, then Macys) has an average selection of merchandise but it can't compared to the one in Manhattan or White Plains. Great during summer months, slow during winter (except holidays), and busy on weekends with people jamming to the multiplex cinema on the premises. There is a Sears and Stop & Shop on premises and it is accessible by Westchester County buses from other parts of the county and the Bronx. read more

Fun times shopping, I love going here with my family. The kids always have fun here. And there's things for the whole family to do.

This mall has a few good mainstays, but is in need of a serious facelift! Lot of other excellent malls to choose from in Westchester.
