We order Golden Crab, Tea-smoked Duck, Sour Pickle Whole Fish, Garlic Pea Shots and Braised Beef Noddle. Golden Crab tasted crunchy and crispy with good smell of fried salted egg yolk, companied with sweet and sour fruit salad. Adorable!! Sour Pickle Whole Fish was my favorite among all. Its spiciness was just right for me. The fish was fresh and delicate. Tea-smoked Duck was tasty. It had a distinct flavor and had a crispy outer crust. All of the other meals were also reallly delicious. My family enjoyed all the dishes. After we told him we already ordered enough food, he said in a wired way if he came to the dinner with his friends, he would at least order 2 appetizers, 4-5 main dishes, 1 entree, 1 dessert. In addition to the potstickers that had a really nice dipping sauce, we really loved the tomato & egg pan seared noodles and beef with broccoli. Will definitely be coming back! Their tea smoked duck is very good, though a bit pricy for the portion. For cheaper, you'd probably have to visit a supermarket with a deli section. The quality is there, so I did not mind the purchase. I also enjoyed their crab ragoons (hope I spelled it right), it's about a dollar or two each if you factor in the price vs portion. This place doesn't even deserve one star - I wish I could give it negative stars. We had lunch here with a very important guest of my husband, his academic advisor from graduate school, and his former secretary. Our waiter was extremely aggressive in suggesting dishes to us and kept talking about the market-price dishes, such as the lobster and fish, without ever disclosing prices. He insisted that our guest order the lobster dish and essentially browbeat him into doing so. We ended up ordering 7 dishes for the table of 5 including two veggie dishes for my vegan daughter, one of which was a mushroom and sweet potato dish. She specifically told the server that she didn't eat meat and was looking for a vegan-friendly dish. When he brought out the mushroom dish, I saw that it looked suspicious and stopped my daughter from trying it and sampled it myself; turns out, there was a very tough and chewy piece of beef, mixed with mushrooms. We didn't return the dish to the kitchen since I had already tried it and my daughter said she was okay with the other dish. I also didn't want to make a scene in front of the other guests. This was a big mistake. Apparently, that beef was Japanese wagyu, and they ended up charging us $128 for a dish that they "MISTAKENLY" brought to us, which we thought would be $22 from the menu; my daughter couldn't even eat it! We ended up spending a whopping $400 on our meal, as the waiter never warned us that we were ordering too much food for the table, and never mentioned the prices of half our orders to us. We walked out of there with 60% of the food in boxes, given that we were never warned about the massive portion sizes. We never complained in front of our guests and our waiter didn't come back to the table to check on us after all dishes were brought to the table; we ended up paying and leaving as soon as we could. I was so disappointed by the service and felt completely scammed by our waiter. I understand the challenges that restaurants are facing during the pandemic and, as someone who formerly worked in the restaurant industry, have tried to do my part in ordering takeout and tipping more than usual throughout this time. The dishes themselves were fine, yet the experience of being totally ripped off by the restaurant ensures that we will never patronize this establishment again, and HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone else from doing so, unless you are willing to be very specific with what you are looking for (and willing to pay much, much more than you expected!!). read more

you can read the article about the chef and his philosophy and he is super passionate about his ingredients and trying to create a menu of high end Sichuan and asian fusion. the golden crab is a signature dish and executed well, but all the prices are going to be limiting for this restaurant unfortunately. the salted egg yolk crust is pretty good with even sweet subtle flavors which is different. everything is almost double the normal price. the beef roll was fine and more delicate on the sauce. dan dan noodle made with sesame paste. Sichuan cold chicken in chili also worked out, but best to come here to try if someone else is paying (just like black pepper prices). read more

We had egg rolls, crispy delicious, pot stickers, much larger than your average and also very yummy. I ordered combination pan fried noodles and they were fabulous tender shrimp and beef the chicken was cooked nicely and the veggies were nice and crisp all in a lovely light sauce. My daughter had the honey walnut shrimp and my oh my were they the best!!! Cooked to perfection and the flavor was awesome!! My husband got the general tso chicken he said it was some of the best hes had and our future son in law had the sesame chicken and the combination fried rice. He said they will definitely be going back. Everyone left very happy with their choices and the quality of food.
