I reiterated that I wanted the roots blonde so when they grew out more I wouldn't have to deal with roots plus darker ends. She seemed to get it. Colored my hair. I dried it. I told Ellie that the roots were still dark. She told me I was wrong, they were perfect and blended perfectly. How do you respond to that sort of thing? I smiled, paid, tipped her, and I won't go back. I would like to ask all colorists to please do what the client asks rather than what you think looks good.
