The Reilly is nice, clean, and very well kept. The staff and servers always go above and beyond to please. The ticket prices and level of entertainment make the Reilly affordable and appealing. Adam Volpe seems to need attention, like a frustrated, still immature behaving performer who is far past his expiration date, yet won't give up the stage. Policies barked by Adam Volpe harke a "Self-Service" style to quickly scan a ticket & PUSH thru patrons -- pointing to a left direction expecting patrons to in essence find their own way. --0-- awareness of provifing a polite greeting conversation making certain clients know where Restrooms are as well as Refreshments. "Just push them thru", is Adam's way as he waltzes around front entry doors, hands flapping often in his pockets or fiddling nervously with his phone, without real direction or purpose. Just constant nonsensical Barking orders to Volunteers that keep this venue operating. Total uneducated disconnect for how to actually speak to Volunteers as he hovers - literally "HOVERS", within inches to a couple feet, criticizing repeatedly without any quality encouragement for implementing a 1st time new system. NO positives for Volunteers who DONATE & GIVE their valuable time so the Shows can go on. Dictatorial Management Style in full bloom as his gossip style of criticism overflows to other staff & confidants. He just CAN'T keep his mouth shut, constantly spewing negatives like a mad dog with a bone - never giving up. Obvious to even the naive Adam Volpe is an inadequate, uneducated male attempting to mask his own inadequacies by berrating females as he touts a manegerial title exhibiting NO "people skills" whatsoever, yet thoroughly gushes a patriarchal stance over women Volunteers. Actually VERY closely Following a female volunteer around in order to continually criticize & CONTROL her every movement, barking "stand right here, I said HERE" like a Natzi soldier would say to a Prisoner of War. Totally void of any respect or manners and most definitely would NEVER dare speak to a male with these words or flaring gestures. Insecurities are one set of flaws, but abuse of power - perceived or real is quite another psychological malady that Adam Volpe deonstrates with unfettered restraint for entitlement apparently believing his abusive behavior toward females is sanctioned by a Title bestowed via The Reilly Arts Center. These horrible performances by Adam Volpe toward women screams for his Final Curtain Call as a villain in a venue that SHOULD represent a level of class and NOT instead scream Redneck Arena!

This is a nice event space in Ocala. It is located right by the OTOW community…read more We were there to see a concert (Herman's Hermits' frontman, Peter Noone). The place is very clean. The seating was comfortable. As this is used as a space for all sorts of events such as conferences and weddings, seating is not stadium seating, but the chairs were really nice, and they have ushers to help with rows. The restroom facilities are clean and ample. This might be the first concert I've been to with enough restrooms that there were no lines! Lots of self parking outside, but you might have to walk a bit.

I love love museums, and have been to the Appleton Museum about three times now. This last time I…read moredecided to go during their first Saturday of the month free admission, and so happy I did. The art at the museum is beautiful with a great collection. However, the only thing I wish is of this museum were bigger. While it's easy to spend 1-2 hours here, the museum does feel small compared to others I've been to. Other than that though, the collection is wonderful!

My second time here, still a great place to visit, if you like cars and drag racing…read more Don is a living legend, I was hoping that he might be there, but my luck is not that good. This is just a fraction of the amazing history of drag racing, but with the most important technological advances on display. I'm glad to see a few cars from my growing up and watching, remembering how it inspired me to go racing. Definitely check out this great museum, it's right next to the highway and takes about 2-3 hours if you're like me.

The exhibits took some getting used to as it's a brand new museum so everything wasn't laid out in a way it was easy to navigate and understand the sequence. Would love to see more historical images of downtown Ocala and Silver Springs. Well worth an hour or two of your time if you are a history buff.

We told them she was being inducted, they said not until your inducted. Please bear with me as I try to guide you through life at Golden Ocala. Home/Villa Rentals: 5 stars! Amazing accommodations for a really reasonable price. Whenever we have larger groups of people visiting this is our first choice. Comparable to a nice hotel, the beautiful villas are lush and abundant in size, with beautiful furniture and full GO access. Spa: 4 stars! I love the massages here and I am a regular during the winter months. The front desk can be a bit slow, but this is mostly due to their faulty technology. The staff member are all super nice. I give 5 stars for the services but 3 stars for the prices, which were recently increased. Worth it for me but definitely on the pricey side. Fitness: 4 stars! Best part is, the fitness center usually isn't too busy. They have some great equipment but could use a few more cardio machines. More space for floor exercises and a few more unique guided classes could up the ante. Tennis Club: 4 stars! 6 Well maintained, gorgeous clay courts. It can be a bit of a hassle to get ahold of the staff (unless you have their cell #) the tennis desk usually isn't receptive to phone calls. Love the women's clinic they offer for members. Lessons are also available and I've had mostly positive experiences with the coaches. Pool: 5 stars! Gorgeous pool- it's so picturesque, located adjacent to the spa and fitness center. Enjoy a drink poolside and take lots of photos. It's definitely instagram worthy! AND you can bring your dog. Pool Food: 3 stars! Decent variety of food, but I've had some pretty sub-par service here. We eat here occasionally for lunch, but the service really could use some improvements. Once, they even refused to add tomatoes to my Caesar salad because "it wasn't on the menu like that" Raspberries: 4.5 stars! Fine dining situated on the upper floor of the gorgeous clubhouse. I love the food and the company here. The staff is outstanding and really take their time to know and love regular patrons like me. The dauphanise potatoes are amazing. Epic Caesar salad, great bread, potent drinks, high end wine list, excellent menu features (flatbread of the week etc) I love dining here! The kitchen staff can sometimes be a bit slow, but this year (so far) I've had nothing but great experiences. Golf: TBD I'm not a golfer! The course is beautiful to walk and the greens seem to be kept in pristine condition. Security: 3.5 stars! The staff mostly consists of retirees working occasional hours. They aren't the most respectful and fail to remember who I am sometimes. Equestrian: TBD can't wait to see The World Equestrian Center South once it's completed. The original equestrian center at GO isn't quite what I would pursue, but the new facility looks grandiose. Overall I love Golden Ocala! A few minor things could be improved. In my 10+ years living here in the winter months and being involved in the dining, social, tennis, and spa scenes, I have had a mostly great experience. A few faux pas and minor altercations with certain staff members have been forgotten and far surpassed by positive interactions. Note: Golden Ocala is a member's only club. They offer social memberships but otherwise you must be member, (or family of one) to enjoy their accommodations. Social memberships are not cheap but can be utilized if you wish to spend lots of time here.
