This Market is without a doubt the best place to get Lunch in the Bethesda area!. The service is quick and food is delicious. They offer a wide variety of foods(sandwiches being thier #1) as well as beverages such as smoothies, coffee , and even ice cream! You can dine inside or even right outside as they have nice tables for you and your friends or family to enjoy a great meal. It's also used as a convenient store with so many grocery options to chose from. The two workers inside are the nicest 2 women I have met and really makes this great spot. This place is a must visit.

I love this place for a quick lunch stop because it has a little bit of everything. Made-to-order deli sandwiches? Check. Various soups? Check. Wide selection of beverages, candies, and snacks? Check. Service at the counter is always fast and friendly even during a lunch rush. It's more market than restaurant but there are a few tables to eat in if you need them.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but their pricing is borderline insulting. I went to buy a six pack of beer, "beyond the gnome world" saison by silver branch brewing to be precise. On the silver branch website it's 13.99. on total beverage it's 11.99. at this store it was $21.99. That's silly. I know they know it's an upscale area, but please don't brutalize the locals.

Highly recommend this place. It has everything you need! We ordered a seven locks sandwich and tuna sandwich and they were amazing!

This place was great! I stopped by for a quick lunch while on a bike ride to Great Falls. I checked out the menu online and called from outside to place my order (COVID-19), and it was ready in just a few minutes. The staff were polite, the place was clean, there were pandemic precautions in place, and the sandwich and espresso were delicious. Several other reviews here mentioned high prices. Maybe they changed their prices, but $7.99 for a good sandwich in 2020 is completely reasonable. I recommend the "CJ Island" sandwich - yum! There's some wonderful outdoor picnic tables near the parking lot to eat at if you're on a bike.

Great Falls sandwich was soo good! New drink discovery Susosue water tasted so clean and refreshing!

Found this hidden gem and im glad I did! My go-to is the Great falls sandwich. They make it fresh and the seasoning is so good, need to find out what they put in it! I also like that they have a big selection of beverages to choose from. I found Susosu water in a pouch this visit. Never tasted a water so clean! I'll be getting this again! And of course, needed to indulge in ice cream. Kind of reminds me of McDonalds ice cream.. except their ice cream machine is always working!

Really love their signature Great Falls sub! It's well-made and very fresh ingredients! On top of that, they have my favorite water brand, Susosu Water! Goes amazing with any sandwich! The best part is I love the people that work here as they provide exceptional service! Highly recommend!

Hidden gem... Unassuming... A couple words I'd use to describe this place. You walk In and your like, "oh a nice little beer and wine store." Then your like "oh - looks like they have expresso drinks too." And then your like, "oh I guess they do sandwiches and deli as well" and then your like "what... they have bibimbap and japchae?!" Ok now your messing with me - and then your like " what are these little grocery items" and then your like " oh there's even more cafe seating" and then your like " but there's all that great out door seating" and then your like "this bibimbap is pretty good coming out from a beer and wine store" and then your like " that classical music they're playing really does set the mood" and then your like " that woman who worked the front was really nice" and then your like " yeah I definitely think I'll be back up in this b" and then your like "bye"

    best sandwiches i ever had.

The 5 stars has everything to do with amazing. best sandwiches i ever had. also staff was very friendly and the food was so delicious. I really recommend it if you want to eat real sandwiches.

I did not find it much different from a trip to Whole Foods, Fresh Market, or Mom's Organic and found a lot of Safeway-esque sprinkled within. Store was quite empty, hot food bar looked picked over, and their bakery section was lackluster. Luckily their prepared section won me over. My best friend and I picked up a few roasted chickens and sides for a Sunday night family dinner and were surprised by how tasty everything was! The salad and cut fruit were super fresh, crisp, and tasty. The creamed spinach was steakhouse quality. And our rotisserie chickens blew Whole Foods dry-as-the-Sahara birds out the window. Each bite was so moist and well flavored that I thought about it for a few days afterwards, I guess there is a reason why Balducci's catering is so legendary. I'll definitely be looking into their menu more as the holidays roll around.

Owner is a scumbag. He's vindictive, a victim, and actually kind of stupid. Read on…read more I wrote a review 3 years ago that got many tens of thousands of views. So I thought I'd reach out to the owner to get a dinner comped (after the work was done, and many dozens of customers in the door for him). I texted to the number on the card given to me by the staff. He didn't reply for a week, so I said, "you are trying to turn a fan into a hater". He immediately texted back and said "sure I'll take care of you". I show up soon after. When I show up at 3pm on a tuesday, the place is empty, I sit at a four person table because that's what most of the tables are. The staff says "sorry you can't sit there, sit at a two person table". I was there for an hour and a half, and not a single other person showed up, there was no reason to sit me in the corner in the back. Then when I was done, the owner said to me, "you're not welcome back, and don't blackmail me". He said I texted him on his personal number (which was on the business card by the register). I said, "I never blackmailed you, you should have texted back if even to say 'thank you for the review but I can't give a discount'". If he did that, he would have maintained a long time customer, maintained a good review, and not lost any money. Instead, he lost the revenue of my meal, he lost a loyal customer who goes every few weeks, and he lost the review. Stupid stupid stupid. I can't get over how dumb and what an asshole Jozef is. Never go here if there's any dispute on the bill or any problem that would require Jozef, he'll fuck you over real good, cause he's just vindictive and a bit of a dick.
