I did not have the opportunity of getting a massage. This review is based off of the owners customer service and communication. I first contacted "The Massage Dude" on 8/12 through yelp to request an appointment and inform him of my issues. He gave me some information and I set the appointment up for this week, 8/19 at 4pm. We went back and forth about his availability. And I understood he was very busy because he has GREAT reviews so duh, why wouldn't he be booked up. Fast forward to a day or two after I scheduled the appointment. He sends me a text messages stating that he has to push my appointment back to "7-8". I informed him I could not do it that late and asked if he had any other availability. I got no response. A day later I texted him and asked the same question. He apologized for the delay and said he was moving things around to fit me in. Fine, I let him be for the weekend. Hoping to hear back so I can plan my week around this massage that I seriously need! And unfortunately still nothing. So, I reached out to him one last time, via text, to inquire about his availability. I can see that he has read my text. But has still failed to respond. At the very least, it would have been nice to get some type of response letting me know he was not able to fit me in. Not just straight up ignoring me. Now, for me and whomever else still cares about customer service, you have lost a potential client. We are all busy. But as a business owner, it is your responsibility to communicate effectively. Especially if you are in the business of "healing". You wasted my time, and now I have to search for another option for pain relief! read more

If you are looking to heal, you have found the spot. SERIOUSLY. i wish SO bad i would have came to Fred when i was first seeking help for my pain. I would have saved SO much money, time and agony if i would have. I had a 90 min session for upper body and then another 90 min session for the lower body ** e v e r y t h i n g is c o n n e c t e d** i have SO much pain relief from my extremely tight muscles from working at a desk for massive amounts of hours. I have also been having issues with my tight muscles pulling my rib out of place over and over - and i expressed that i went to the chiropractor and he still couldnt seem to get this rib, so he took a try at pushing on it and he popped it right back into place for me so that was greatly appreciated!! i wish i hadnt just moved away so i could continue to see Fred, but just in those two sessions i had some serious relief!! He also sent me a playlist of youtube videos on correcting my posture. He truly wants you better ASAP! Great friendly communicator also! ps: be prepared for pain! but this is the type of pain that leads to deep healing! read more

I started coming to see Frederick about 2 months. My range of motion was horrible. I contacted Frederick and I was nervous about cupping but he made me feel comfortable. He explains thoroughly on what is the problem and exactly where your range of motion should be. My shoulders hasn't felt this great since I was in my 20s. I had the pleasure of meeting The Massage Dude today. I heard about him through Facebook. I'm all about reviews and a lot of people had nothing but great things to say about him. I recently sprained my lower back and decided to give him a call because I needed immediate relief due to leaving on vacation. Once there, I told him about the pain I have on the bottom of my feet. He was able to do cupping and blade relief on my feet. He also worked on my back and shoulders. We weren't able to do cupping on my back due to me leaving on vacation (don't want to walk around at the beach with cup marks), but I can't wait to try this on my back next time I see him. This is no walk in the park! The amount of pain I felt as he was releasing all the built up tension is indescribable. I was trying my best to hold back my tears.
