I tried my best looking for a local place closer to Riverside. I tried multiple Hydro Colon Therapist and was about to give up and continue driving to San Diego. Then one day I saw a Groupon for "Healing Ways Spa," I called the number and had a very knowledgeable conversation with Terry, the therapist. When I met Terry she was very welcoming and by far I've had my best Hydro Colon Therapy sessions with Terry and I've been getting these treatments for almost 20 years now. Just know, no matter how amazing the HC therapist is, you may not always release on your first session. Hence why I NEVER "JUST DO ONE." I always do a series of 3 as back to back as possible and I've had my best sessions when I've been juicing for at least 3 days prior to my session and continue to juice while I'm going through my series. Terry can explain this in-depth. Most of all, relax, release, and rejoice that you are now fully loving your body from the inside out . I strictly voiced I'll be here 3-4 times this week, that's it. I was under the impression I purchased a package to match, come to find out 5 months later they had me on a $73 monthly membership fee. I didn't even know I was a member nor would I ever have agreed to a membership. I went in 3 times that one week and burned my skin EXTREMELY bad due to the guy telling me the beds didn't require the lotion! He seemed very uninformed about the business, so I assumed he was new and didn't complain at the time. The only feedback I provided was during my second visit, when I kindly explained that lotion was necessary because the burns were so severe that I could barely tolerate the shower water touching my skin. Because of how painful the burns were, I did purchase lotion during my second visit in an attempt to help my skin. Ultimately, I was unable to use all of the tanning sessions I had purchased because I was in too much pain to continue. Again, had no idea he signed me up for a package! I spoke to manager but she could care less and refused to acknowledge a mistake could have been made on their part. She said I signed the contract so, too bad basically. Little did I know I should've read that fine print because it was absolutely not explained to me I was signing up for a membership. I do not have the luxury or interest to pay a membership on something like that. Super disappointed. Would never recommend this place to anyone. She told me I had to cancel online and it could not be done over the phone, so I cancelled online then went in for a requested print out of my cancellation and was told it takes 1-2 business days to process and the manager will get back to you in a week or so to confirm. I asked if I could just cancel in front of her and she said it has to go through the online process. So, it's much more difficult to cancel than it is to sign up. Hopefully, she processes my request to cancel soon. Horrible business model.

Overall front staff is nice as they check you in and there are recent deals for new members or for add ons. I do like the classes that they offer here, but it has been a few months where they had a hard time finding an aqua fit instructor. I really like these classes but if the instructors aren't good, it is hard to follow along to the music as well as the choreography. At least it is one hour class where I can get a good workout. Their cycling classes are good and fill up fast. It is hard for me to stay for an hour as those bike seats just aren't comfortable but I do my best and leave when my derriere hurts. The cleanliness of the ladie's locker area need major work. There's shower heads that don't work all the time and there's a lot of hair on the floor. There's also moldy tile in the shower areas so I tend to rinse off while wearing my flip flops and then go home to shower completely. As for the swimming pool, it is always so cold when you enter. I have asked the staff a couple of times and they said the pool temperature is monitored automatically but I wonder when the last calibration of their pool thermometer was? It is definitely chilly when you enter the swimming pool! I do hope management at this location will increase the frequency of cleaning the lockerrooms and really look into the temperature of the swimming pool.
