Came here on a Saturday morning just to grab a breakfast burrito, and this place did not disappoint! The people were friendly and quickly served me, and the place was just really chill. The burrito was a perfect balance between bacon, egg, and potato. They also served it with a side of fresh salsa. Honestly, this was just really great! Although doghouse has bigger size I guess and the fries at doghouse are better even tho- even tho I know for a fact that the fries at doghouse are frozen haha either way hella seasoning. We got the tri tip and the chicken bacon ranch. Tots and fries. Tri tip was really good, obviously not smoked like doghouse but the flavor and quality of meat is just better. You have to try it to believe it haha. But like I said, the size of it is smaller and it doesn't have the smoky flavor. So this is a loss if you MUST have that smoky flavor. This place is so good! I LOVED their tri-tip and their tater tots. The tri-tip sandwich is stuffed with meat and it was so juicy. For the side, I got the tater tots fried in tallow and they were SOOOO crispy. 100% recommended! I asked if they can cut my tri-tip slices thinner, but they said no that I would love it. We've gotten sandwiches over the years, and they're good, but this review is about the bratwursts in natural casing. They come four in a pack and they're rather big. Simmer in medium low sauce pan covered with about a 1/2 cup of water for 15 minutes. Turning occasionally. When most of the water is gone, add oil or butter, turn heat to medium and turn every couple minutes until you get the color you like. These sausages came out perfect. I'm not as big a fan of the cooked food as I am the meat department. I make a trip once a week to the shop because the meat actually tastes as it is supposed to. My one complaint is the use by date on the packages. They give you 7 days when fresh, vacuum sealed meat should last way longer when fresh. So just take that into consideration. My girlfriend opted for the roast beef deli sandwich and that was great too. Keep in mind , there is no produce to be had here. You get a meat sandwich with your choice of cheese , but don't expect any lettuce or tomatoes in the building . However , you can opt for pickles on your sandwich if you prefer.
