When we asked him for our receipt or order number he laughed grabbed the mop and ignored us. Then became upset because we were sure what order was ours. Going to give this a 4 star. I was craving their fries (crinkle cut) so decided to stop in. The staff is always friendly, punctual and helpful. I typically am going in later in the night to where one half of the seating is closed off for the night. Anyways i feel the food is always made to order, because I've never gotten what i feel to be a cold burger or fries. Onion rings are always perfectly crispy, not just flash fried to get it out. Incredibly disappointing. I got the pastrami sandwich and it was incredible small. Not worth the price whatsoever. Super salty and tasteless. You can come for the ambiance but don't expect much from the food. My partner got the burger meal and it was below par, you can get better for half the price at any fast food joint. Loved this place! The 50's drive-in theme is fun. My husband and I came here for a meeting with the Central Valley Mustang Club and I was not disappointed. I ordered a grilled chicken burger and fries, and it was so incredibly tasty. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and cooked to perfection. The staff were very helpful and friendly, AND they were fast with getting our food out to us. We will definitely be going back, at least for the next meeting that CVMC has there. What's not to love. Location is very convenient for me, staff is super friendly and some of them are from the other location on Barstow. The inside is well decorated like a retro diner with some fun installations like the front of a 50's Chevrolet in front of the kitchen. Definitely a good vibe dining in here. There is no drive-thru at this location so that may be a downside for some. I usually get the fried chicken sandwich, but I tried the chicken strips last time and really liked them. TOO SLOW!! My girl and I came by here after the movies because we haven't tried this spot on shaw. I just don't remember how they tasted prior to coming. We tried the one on Barstow but I just don't recall how it was. I got a bacon cheeseburger meal and my gf got a veggie burger meal. There was only 3 party members eating inside including us but man did they take forever to get our order. My burger was "meh" to say the least, but the fries taste like the frozen crinkle cuts that you can buy at your local grocery store. Overall, we probably spent like $30 or more. I didn't feel like it was worth it. Tbh, the thing I enjoyed from there was the ranch that came with the fries. That's about it. The staff there seemed friendly though. read more
