We expected to come to a track yet were actually greeted by some strange set up in a parking lot which was really weird and somewhat disappointing. The event is held one weekend each month and you need to book in advance, when you arrive on the day basically you just wait in line until it's your turn. There is a big turnout and my Husband got to drive about 40 minutes after his scheduled time. You're out with one of the instructed divers for the entire of the laps with the first one you're not allowed to go over a certain speed just to make sure you know what you're doing then they encourage you to ''open it up'' as much as you can throughout the laps, which is fun yet somewhat limited to do the size restrictions of the track itself which is marked out by cones. Despite the slight disappointment my Husband still had a great time, after weeks of working insane hours it was nice to see him come away with a smile and knowing that he finally got to something he had wanted to for so long. Aside from the Lamborghini Gallardo they also have a Porsche 911 and Ferrari.

I also met several artist in ceramics and wood working who works with their craft at a shared creative space in downtown Stockton. They also had live music which I enjoyed just sitting down listening while admiring the nice waterfront overlooking the sailboat. I had a great time here and would come back again. Best of all, the San Joaquin Bike Coalition provided a place to valet park our bikes. Very worthwhile visit. Cheers!
