I went here this morning off of a recommendation. The staff is super friendly, and didn't seem annoyed by my questions pertaining ingredients. I didn't notice any vegan food options, which was a little disappointing. but I also didn't ask ingredients of all the food items, because that would have been ridiculous. So who knows. The chai is dairy free, and they have oat milk. My drink is delicious, I absolutely love the cup style with the sleeve, and that everything seems recyclable. Definitely will be returning on weekends after my nail appointments! Possibly if they're open early enough on weekdays. I love how they have sit down options, since Starbucks is typically the only sit-down option around. Absolutely adorable business. UPDATE: They are not open Early enough for construction trades or Boeing. Which is a disappointment. Definitely recommend on weekends. read more

This coffee shop was not a good fit for me. The shop looks great and it was very busy when we arrived. Being my first visit, I was excited to try this shop out. I ordered a specialty of theirs, a large iced London Fog Latte. The payment terminal was missing because it was broken according to the cashier. That was a bit annoying because I've grown fond of the added security and efficiency of touch-less transactions. The drink was prepared and I was expecting a nice flavor. In hindsight I should have foreseen that the mixing ratio might be off. This is a common occurrence when some baristas blend badly. The small size might have tasted more balanced, but my drink was mostly milk. There was only a faint taste of Earl Gray. The vanilla flavor and sweetness had either disappeared or wasn't incorporated at all. I'm guessing the barista added the normal ingredients based on a small and then topped off the large cup with milk and ice. And that's the drink I had.. iced milk with a splash of Earl Gray. read more

I'm really glad this coffee joint is in my neck of the woods. The drive-through is convenient for those who don't want to share air with the folks inside. The quality of the coffee is above average, they have lavender syrup, and their cookies are dangerously addictive. If I'm in the area, this is one of my favorite places to support for coffee. This is such a cute place! The staff are incredibly friendly and there is a lot of room to sit, inside or out. My first time I ordered an iced tea and was very surprised by how good it was. Their selection of loose leaf tea is unique and mine was sweetened with a little bit of honey to perfectly quench my thirst on a hot day. It was about 3:30 or 4:00 and I was craving a bagel but didn't see any in the case. I assumed I had missed my opportunity since it was a weird time to order this but they read me a list of available options. The bagel comes out with a side of cream cheese to do it yourself and I appreciate that it's enough to smother it completely because that's really the only way to eat one. I have now returned several times to order this same iced tea and bagel combo and am very happy every time. It's bright and sunny inside and there's more than enough parking. read more

There's plenty of parking and it's easy to get in and out of, the decor inside is clean and simple with plenty of seating and a big roll up door/window allows a nice breeze. I like supporting small business and I love their story! The atmosphere has a clean, modern warehouse feel. The concrete floors and metal doors have sound bouncing quite a bit so might be a difficult place for the hard of hearing but generally it's a nice little spot to meet someone for coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful when I was trying to figure out what verbiage they use. Because really, sometimes it gets confusing! Is it a chocolate americano or an americano with mocha? Does "mocha" mean milk, espresso, and chocolate or does it mean chocolate sauce here? I've even had an experience at a Viennese shop that wouldn't place my order until I verbally said the Viennese term for espresso with water, because "Americano is not Viennese." That is not the experience here at all. These people are down to earth people providing a great place to connect with other people. The roast isn't dark enough for my preference so honestly, I didn't enjoy the actual cup of coffee. However, the atmosphere was so enjoyable I'd still come back. Love this place! I remember when this use to be the famous Walt's Milk House and the special days when mom would bring home their chocolate milk. The owners have recreated a fabulous place to enjoy delicious, local coffee, tea, food and treats either inside or DRIVE THRU !!! There is even a small room to rent out during business hours or rent the entire place after hours (did someone say graduation party?!!). Cutest new coffee shop! Stopped in to try it out and was impressed. The coffee was really good and I also had their house-made oatmeal which was delicious. It came with brown sugar, cinnamon, dried fruit and nuts. They have cold brew coming next month and I can't wait to try it! They also have breakfast burritos, bagels, pastries, etc. The location is pretty convenient, located on Rucker going towards south Everett. There's a drive through and a good amount of parking though I can see it getting pretty busy on a weekend. They have a medium amount of seating inside for social distancing. Prices are typical of small coffee shops, I paid about $10 for my coffee and oatmeal. The staff were extremely nice and pleasant, and very welcoming! My food was out quickly. A quaint and clean coffee shop. I was impressed by the ambiance of this place. As a neat desk it was perfect. Clean, orderly and well laid out. The baristas were welcoming and very friendly. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. This would have been a much better experience if the food had been made fresh, or even within the last day. Both items felt as though they were prepared days ago and just thrown in the microwave when we ordered it. The ingredients seemed to have melded together into one mass, like they were prepared warm, wrapped up and tossed in the freezer until someone ordered it. I would recommend making your items as they're ordered. It make a tremendous difference. I feel that if something as simple as a bagel sandwich is prepared so lazily, how can their coffee be much different? I managed to choke down half of the sandwich before giving up on it. Tastes like a leftover breakfast from last week. And now I have horrible stomach ache, so off to the privy to expunge the poison. read more

The ladies there were really nice, the store is open and inviting, and someone is always outside cleaning up (it looks SOO nice). But their coffee is sooo strange. I get an ice americano everywhere I go, it's easy to order and pretty much should taste the same no matter where you are. It kind of seems like they are using regular "drip coffee" beans to make their espresso shots. So it's like the coffee is a weird consistency, it looks "hazy" without any milk in it and its super weak. I really wanted to love this place, its very hipster-esk, AND they have great pastries/food but the coffee is a no go of me. read more

We love this little gem in our neighborhood! My husband absolutely loves the chai and I cant get enough of the bagel sandwich. The pumpkin chai muffin is fantastic. Great coffee and bakery/food selections most of the time. There are staffing issues at times. Had good experiences there 90% of the time but a couple employees there just aren't / weren't very good at taking orders and offering good results. Had someone distracted by chit chatting with another employee and made bad coffee, another sort of short with me and rude and not getting the order right a couple times. I know it is tough these days getting good employees and Milkhouse has a dining area, plus drive through plus kitchen to run, so it takes several employees to run the place. Owners don't seem to be there most of the time. Stiil, a nice clean and unique space at the famous former Walt's Milkhouse. read more

I've been wanting to check this place out. I grew up with Walt's Milkhouse and was anxious to see what they had done with the space. The 5 star review was just the cherry on top. I came here with my sister. It's open and breezy with several tables inside. The decor is great with lots of nostalgia for those of us who remember Walt's. I got the special which was an almond milk mocha with raspberry. I had it iced and it was great. My sister got a mocha and said it was wonderful. We both had a blackberry scone. Obviously homemade and perfectly flavored. We sat and chatted and watched it rain. What a fun place with great coffee and pastries. I'll definitely be back!! read more
