I met with friends who wanted to get pizza for the kids. We were sitting up on the 2nd floor with plenty of TV's to keep the adults entertained while the kids were able to draw with markers and paper provided by the restaurant. The kids scarfed down two margarita pizzas while the adults shared a white pizza with a slightly burnt crust but still delicious. I rarely do chain restaurants to support local businesses. However, when the service is as terrible and disorganized as in this place, one has to just move on. I ordered online and upon arriving to pick up the food I stood in front of the counter for over 5 minutes before being asked. This with 7 employees behind the counter. When finally acknowledged, I was told I was too early and would have to wait. Note, I was there 3 minutes prior to the stipulated time which was 1 hour after placing the order. When order was received it was incorrect. They just gave me the 3 cheese steaks I had ordered. I told the young lady I was missing 2 pizzas. She looks all over the pile of pizzas on top of the oven. Just as I had suspected, they had been sitting there for a while (bottom of the pile) and guess what, not even warm. To top it off I had ordered the sweet pie with pepperoni ($1.75) extra which was NOT added. Keep it as a tip. Speaking of tips, owner, strongly recommend you get this act together. Help in the operation and caring for your customers before they, just like me, decide to go elsewhere. I assume it was the manager or owner that seemed like it was more important to input receipts in an iPad than to help your overwhelmed staff. Stopped for lunch off the 476 and this came up on yelp as a 4 star..... I would say this place is worthy of 3 stars at maybe it's best. Since I am only giving it 2, i guess maybe we did not order the right thing. I ordered the power salad with hard broiled eggs, avocado, red onions, chicken and tomatoes. It was pretty good. My husband and I split the salad, making it an up charge of 1.95, which is simply annoying when we also ordered a pizza. My husband wanted the lemon vinaigrette dressing and I had the tomato vinaigrette, they tasted almost exactly the same. Either they gave us two of a kind or they are way to similar to tell the difference. The pizza,margarita, was eh! I didn't care for it all all and it took way too long to get to our table, especially when dining with a one year old. I would pass all day on this place! read more

Such a great experience... Super friendly service and great value for the $. Pepperoni pizza was on point with a nice thin crust in the middle, and a chewy bite on the edges. Wings were large, and cooked through, with a nice BBQ sauce, but I generally like them with a bit more time in the oven to crisp up a bit more. "Powerhouse salad" was absolutely perfect with the lemon herb dressing. We're coming back for sure! read more

So here's the thing- the food here was really quite good. I had a burger special with this amazing bleu cheese style sauce and perfectly done bacon with fries. It was truly phenomenal. Cooked right to medium. Price point was great as well. The problem? We waited 10 minutes before we had to ask a server to came to our table and took our drink order. We then waited over an hour for a burger and a French dip sandwich. The French dip was somewhere between cold and room temperature. The server was helpful in getting it heated, but then when we were finished with our meal we probably waited another 20-30 minutes for our check. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are prepared to wait a long time for a meal. read more

First of all, I flipped between giving a 4, and a 5. The only reason why is that its BYOB. MOST of the menu would pair perfectly with a freshly poured beer, but then again, you can bring in whatever beer you want which is actually something I realized that I enjoy after thinking about it a couple times. Every time I go to the Mill, I never have a complaint....the pizza is fantastic, the poutine was to die for, and the sandwiches are creative and delicious. This past time that I went there, I went outside the box and ordered the fried dough BBQ bacon burger....whoa....it was something that I have never seen before and it was amazing!! I am literally craving one right now as I write this. The service was on par the whole time...I was there with family, and we had 3 kids with us, and the staff was super friendly, and on top of the things the entire time. When it comes to the decor, the owners did a real nice job at keeping the natural design, and decor in place. It really has a cool atmosphere upstairs! If you're looking for a "luxury sandwich, and pizza place" the Mill is perfect. read more

The salads are great. Pizza is very good. Atmosphere is super cute upstairs. Service can be slow, and calling for takeout on the weekend means a 45 minute wait, but we know that and just prep for it. Nice mix of healthy and "bar food" so everyone is happy. There are not a ton of healthy places in the area, so we are happy to get good salads here! read more

The Mill in Kulpsville is an excellent choice for a bite to eat. They owners have done a great job refurbishing this establishment. The environment is very relaxing and welcoming. The menu is simple but filled with great choices! The mill melt was an excellent recommendation by our server (Casey - thank you!). It is prepared to perfection. As it was suggested, order it as is. Try it and take off what you don't like. But once you take a bit, you won't take anything off. The homemade potato chips are fantastic! The seasoning is just right. I can't wait to try one of their pizzas. They looked and smelt awesome! Also, the servers and employees are great! They help the environment.... Hopefully you'll meet Casey, she knows her menus. During my second visit, the food was good. Their brick oven pizza was delicious. As an appetizer the cheesesteak rolls were very good. The only draw back was that the dining room was closed between 4-5 pm to prepare for the dinner rush. No where is that stated or posted. So I had to sit downstairs. (Bummer!) The food at the Mill is outstanding. That being said, I will never return. My family has ordered takeout from The Mill on three different occasions and each time the service has been horrendous. The first time, they gave our pizza to someone else, so we had to wait for them to make another one. Ok, things happen - we saw how busy they were - no big deal. The next time, they forgot an item in our order so my husband had to wait again for it to be made while the rest of our food got cold. We swore them off after that because despite the good food, it was simply a hassle. We decided last week to give them another shot after at least a year and this time, they told my husband that they were waiting on the pizza to be finished so he sat there for 15 minutes. Ends up, the pizza had already been done (along with other items we ordered) and were sitting on top of the oven. The woman working finally noticed and didn't even apologize for the wait or misunderstanding. All food was cold when we got it home and to top it off, the order was missing a cheesesteak that we paid for. We are so beyond frustrated with this place - it doesn't matter how good your food is - we are never coming back. We should not have a bad experience 3 out of 3 times. Service staff seriously need to be trained on how to run that kitchen (other than the cooks who are always working hard and turn out great food). read more

I have been there 2x in a week, one for pick up and got there when food was supposed to be ready and waited 30 min when I got there. Was there last night for dinner and food took forever, my glass was empty of a beverage for almost the entire time. We got there at 6 and didnt leave until after 8pm. BUT FOOD IS AWESOME! I follow this restaurant of FB and IG and the pictures always look amazing. I saw the fried fish picture and had to have it. I was a little disappointed. The fish was very greasy, as if they didn't let it drain properly before putting it on my plate. My husband had the cajun pizza with shrimp and andouille. There was no Cajun flavor, at all. Tasted like garlic alfredo sauce. The cheesesteak eggrolls were good. I will go one more time to give another item a chance but I was disappointed. read more

Nice little place! Beautifully restored former mill with wonderful upstairs dinning room with fireplace. Pizza is an amazing wood fired pie with awesome crust. Pies are on the small side but they have a lot of eclectic appetizers. Haven't tried the sandwiches yet but they have a good variety. Maybe next time ;) read more

To start, the food itself was mediocre and overpriced. The service, what can I say about that... Oh, how about our "server" - who only brought us our drinks and took out order - left before our food even came to the table! Did he tell us he was clocking out, no. Did he tell anyone else working there that he still had a table, you'd think, but you'd be wrong! Once the food was on the table no one came by to see if we had received the right dishes, or if they were to our liking. No one brought refills of our drinks, or asked if we'd like a refill - we did! Ordered takeout last night. Was told pickuo was in one hour. I arrived on time to a room full of people saying they had waited an hour and a half for their take out orders. I ended up. Waiting 55 minutes past my time and after being asked 4 times for my name it was clear they were filling orders out of sequence. . People that ordered after me had left with their food. 2 out of three had errors in their orders that had to be corrected. They had every excuse in the book, but there was obvious chaos with the staff. When I finally got mine and got home the pizza was not what we had ordered. I will never go back. read more

The burger I will say was wonderful, BUT...my friend and I both asked for the burgers described as having bacon, but we wanted them without bacon. I asked for mustard on the side. We were charged for the mustard on the side. Are you kidding me??!! Shouldn't the waitress haver said there's a charge for mustard or am I being ridiculous? Why didn't we get a credit for not having bacon on either of the burgers??!!! Please do not nickel and dime your customers (especially without telling them). The Mill has become our go to restaurant in the area. It is not your average sandwich or pizza shop. The food is always awesome. They always have amazing specials. Homemade Soups almost every day. Today was a Stuffed Pepper Soup (It was phenomenal), and the special sandwich of the day was a Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ fontina cheese, sautéed peaches, BBQ aioli on a homemade brioche bun. Hoping they add it to the menu permanently, but I always say that about all their specials. That's why we love it here. Always something unique and wonderful tasting. It was a packed house during today's lunch hour, so kudos to the service team. Food was brought out hot, fresh and in a timely manner. Highly recommend The Mill for lunch or dinner. P.S. My husband and I decided to order take out from The Mill as we have never had poor service there before and there food is very good. We order a Philly Cheesesteak pizza and Chicken Caesar Salad. We ordered online through Slice and were informed that it would be 40 minutes until our order was ready. No problem there, since it would take me 35 minutes to drive there and pick up the order. I get there and I see it busy but not yet super busy as typical for a Friday night. My order is not ready at all and on top of that, the rude girl at the counter tried to make me pay for my order again. Another girl stepped into our conversation and asked if I had paid by credit card and of course I said yes but the rude girl, that waited on me kept saying "are you sure", meaning are you sure she paid by credit card to other girl that stepped into our conversation. That girl had to explain to the rude girl several times that I had paid for my order until she got tired of her and walked away. She also did not tell me how many minutes I would have to wait for my order and left me standing there wondering what was going on. She proceeded to ignore me until my order was ready, {10 minutes later}, and used my first name to call me over. I got "here is your order" by two of the girls and that was it. In all of my years, with ordering take-out from a popular restaurant, I have to say that this has to be the poorest and rudest customer service I have ever experienced. When I was walking away, all you can hear is those girls at the counter complaining. I would have given this review a one star, but the food was very good and delivered as promised. This restaurant needs proper training for customer service for their employees. People ordering take out should not have to go through this bad service when picking up their order. read more

The bottom floor is a rather plain pizzeria, but upstairs is glorious. Upstairs is refurbished in the theme of the old mill, including various artifacts decorating the room. A good selection of food including healthy items. Good service. Caution: there is no elevator to go upstairs, so one must climb a flight of rather steep wooden stairs.
