It's right in the area, easy to get to, and makes it simple to plan a quick movie night without overthinking it. The seating is comfortable, especially with the recliners. It makes a big difference being able to sit back and actually relax during the movie instead of feeling cramped. The theater itself is clean and well kept. Not perfect, but good enough where it doesn't take away from the experience. Sound and picture quality are solid. You're getting what you expect for a modern theater. Concessions are what you'd expect. A little pricey, but that's pretty standard everywhere. Good variety though if you want snacks or drinks. Staff is fine. They keep things moving and help when needed, but it's mostly a self guided experience. Only thing to keep in mind is it can get busy during peak times or when big movies drop, so timing helps. Overall, it's a reliable go-to. Comfortable, convenient, and an easy place to enjoy a movie without any hassle.

We purchased popcorn and I asked for extra butter. It wasn't fresh and there wasn't any butter xtra butter. I am accustomed to theaters selling adult beverages these days and this place had nothing. Super basic experience considering the price. I will not return here unless it's on a discount day!

Let's Go was ready to go! This was a really well organized music festival. They posted set times…read moreearly (nearly a month in advance - great for planning purposes), and they had two stages with no overlapping sets so that you can actually enjoy all of your favorite bands - no picking and choosing! And, sets actually started and ended on time! With the alternating stages, it was a full day of music. Their social media account (IG: letsgomusicfest) posted a lot of helpful information leading up to the event. I was able to familiarize myself with the event layout, vendors/booths to be on the lookout for, and all the "know before you go" tips for seamless entry. Kudos to their social media team for re-posting lots of attendees' IG stories to hype up the weekend. There was also good email communication leading up to the event - there was a good balance of being informative without being spammy. After going through security (bags get checked and you get wanded - only clear bags/small fanny pack or clutch are allowed), our tickets were scanned and we were given wristbands for the weekend (we had 3-day tickets). Since there were separate tickets to scan each day and there's no re-entry, I don't quite see the usefulness of the "wristbands for all" approach, except to designate VIP ticket holders. Maybe if there was some severe weather that required people to leave and come back, the wristbands would be helpful, but the event was rain or shine, so even then, it would have to be under extreme circumstances. Food truck lines were slow and long, but they were the only option for general admission tickets since no outside food/drink was allowed (and no re-entry). I think more food truck options could've helped keep things moving. Empty water bottles were allowed, and they had water refill stations, photo booths, and even lawn games (corn hole, mini golf, ping pong, and giant Jenga). Since merch was being sold all day, the merch lines were never ridiculous. There were also some other local vendors to check out, like a guitar shop, Laurel's House of Horrors, and a StateFarm booth. We were allowed to bring foldable camping chairs, and they had designated areas for chairs which was great because our views of the stage weren't obstructed by people standing right in front of you. There were also screens to see the stage and display announcements. My only qualm was with parking. We had no issues getting into the event - parking attendants were there to direct you where to park and arrival times of attendees were more staggered, but getting out was painful. Even with parking attendants to direct you out, we sat in the queue for about 30 minutes and it seemed like nothing was moving for the longest time. But I suppose that's the nature of the beast when everyone leaves at the same time and there's only one road out. But overall, I was really impressed with the organization and execution of this music festival. Kudos to the organizers and staff who helped make this event a success!

Look, I don't know how these folks aren't already listed in Yelp but allow me to introduce you to…read morethem. Charm City Trivia are the #1 most professional, entertaining, friendly, competitive, and respected trivia team in the area. While they're more focused toward the Baltimore area (duh) they do reach down into PG and Howard counties (see the map I included). I've been going to their location at Maple Lawn (Looney's) for about a month or so now and I can tell you that they're amazing. The questions range from the pretty easy ("What movie featured a car with the license plate, "OUTATIME"?) to the pretty difficult ("Name the three capitals of South Africa."). The questions show up on screens throughout the facility and the announcer is very easily heard without being obnoxious. [An added bonus is that the food at Looney's is pretty darn good!] The format is: 6 rounds of questions 3 questions per round 5 (I think) toss up questions (these are numerical questions where the closest to the answer wins) 1 final question (the only one where you can lose points) Each round has three different amounts you can assign to an answer (if you're positive of an answer you assign it the highest number). If you're wrong, you don't lose those points...except for the final question which you can wager up to 40 points. Big swings in team position can happen in the final question. I cannot encourage you strongly enough to try out a location that is hosting Charm City Trivia. Check their website and see the zillions of times and places that they're running a game. Trust me, you'll have a blast even if you come in last place like my team did last night.
