    Momos

New restaurant in Citrus Park Mall food court! Authentic Himalayan cuisine looked like an interesting lunch so we gave it a shot! Momos (dumplings), chicken sausage, samosas, and lassi. Never had some of these flavors - so glad we gave them a try! The man behind the counter was excited to help us- offering a sample of the momo. The stall is clean and the backdrop of the Himalayan's is gorgeous! Will be back next time we are here- a nice break from the typical food court fare!

They're a small location inside Citrus Park Mall. It's a tough market but I'd much rather support small business than some of the larger locations inside. I've been following along since they started building and today I was debating what I wanted for lunch and found myself heading this way, ready to try dumplings! I've never had Himalayan food before so I can't rate authenticity, but I can definitely review flavor and oh my gosh there's so much flavor! The menu is limited so they can focus on just making really good dumplings. You can choose vegetarian, chicken, or pork and all are filled with a lovely blend of spices that will be familiar to anyone who enjoys southeast Asian cuisine. The sides are either fries or samosas and I'm definitely going to recommend the samosas because the dough is incredible and the filling is full of delicious spice. Its very reminiscent of Indian food. The flavor profile is similar and they offer Chai and lassi. If you like Indian cuisine, you'll enjoy the dumplings at Momo Spot. Absolutely recommend trying them out, I'll be back soon! They're also very friendly and it's reasonably priced for a good sized meal which is genuinely needed these days.

Wow! I stumbled across The Momo Spot when I was looking for something other than the same tired old Chicken Teriyaki. I've never had Nepalese food, and I'm so glad I took a chance. While Momo might look like traditional "Chinese Dumplings," they are so not. They're stuffed with meat and a definite "Indian" flavor. I have no idea what seasoning was in them, but they were so well seasoned and flavorful I didn't even want to share them with the group. I also got a samosa. Also fantastic. It was flavorful and the pastry was just the right amount of flaky. I should add that there was a kick of heat to both the Momo and samosa, but not too hot. I did opt out of the spicy sauce that came with them. I like a bit of spice, but nothing that makes me cry. The Momo Spot hit the right note of spice and seasoning. I'm never waiting in that bourbon chicken line again! Don't miss the Momo!

What an incredible find inside a mall. I've had excellent 5-star Nepalese food before in Cincinnati & in New York City. The Momo Spot offers cuisine almost as good. We each ordered a Himalayan Combo. One was with pork momos, the other was vegetable momos. They each came with a samosa. So if you're not familiar with Nepal, it lies between China & India. So their food is a hybrid of both. The momos are like Chinese potstickers filled with Indian flavors. The pork momos were delicious, & the dipping sauce had a nice low level spicy heat to it. The vegetable momos were a nice surprise. They had the consistency of ground beef. I am guessing there were mushrooms in it, all ground up, with Indian spices. This was a winner. The samosa is kind of like a wonky fried empanada. It was filled with Indian flavors including curry. The accompanying green chutney made for a great combination. If you want to elevate your culinary experience at a mall, this is your spot...your momo spot.

The service is excellent as is the food. My family is Hindu vegetarian and we appreciate the many options we have here if you've not tried this highly recommended.

I tried The Momo Spot today for the first time after seeing some good reviews on social media about it. The food definitely did not disappoint. The menu may be small, but the flavors are bold and big. I had the pork momo dumplings and the chicken sausage. Would recommend to others as well. Worth checking out.

This place is BOMB! The flavors are next level. I had to order more to go because while I was eating it realized I needed more food. If you like spicy curry, you'll be very happy. Highly recommend! Great service too!

We ordered a lot of stuff and everything was amazing but one thing and I will get there. The appetizers were super n Delicious and fun. I posted pics of the food as I don't remember the names of most of the stuff. But if anyone wanna have the food just ask the staff what the stuff in the pictures are and they are able to point you in the right direction. The meals we got Butter chicken which was pretty amazing Lamb korma which is my favorite of all time and it hit the spot as expected. Our friend had this large potatoes pancake that It was ok. I could go without it but it was massive and super cool for the Fran pics They also had a lamb kebab that was our least favorite dish. We had everything family style and they kept the rice coming, and we appreciated that. When the dessert came we ordered this carrot thing and it was BAD! It was warm and salty and had some ice cream on top but the ice cream was not good either. Our waiter was so gracious and took it out of the bill and replaced it with better choices. Shout out to ASHWIN he is a great waiter and we will look for him when we go back. Cause we loved the spot and will go back for sure. The food was great, the atmosphere was impeccable and overall the vibes were great. This spot is our new go to when we want to get some Indian cuisine with an elevated feel. Super recommended!!

Bombay pops up, is highly rated, and is just about a mile and a half away from where we were. We pull up, go in, and it's clean, cozy & bright. The servers are really kind. My friend's young daughter is trying to do vegan, and my friend has a tree nut allergy AND eats gluten-free, and they can accommodate ALL OF THAT! Yay! This is one of the best menus I've seen in the United States for Desi food, and true to Orlando style, they also have some "asian" dishes / cool combos of Chinese & Indian on the menu. I have never seen so many restaurants with two/hybrid/fusion menus as I have in Orlando! We got Hakka Noodles, Pani Puri, Masala Dosa, Palak Paneer & Chai. Pani Puri came assembled already and in a cute little wagon. Everything tasted amazing!! Tasted fresh-made with fresh ground spices & tasty ingredients. It was very reasonably priced, and the food came out fast. We didn't finish it all & they were prompt with the to go containers. Definitely going back. Thanks you guys!

The service started off great right away--getting drinks going and giving us time to look over the appetizers. Since we were on a work lunch, everyone ordered appetizers, which meant we got to share a lot of delicious food. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Stack, and it was DELICIOUS. The tuna was fresh, and the edamame, cucumber, and avocado complemented it really well. Overall, I would order that again and again. I was also able to try the Brussels sprouts, which were vegetarian-friendly and absolutely delicious. They were seasoned really well. The last appetizer I tried was the Firecracker Shrimp. They were AMAZING! We couldn't get enough of them, so we ended up ordering a second round. For my lunch entrée, I ordered the Lobster Garlic Noodles. These are the only reason this wasn't a perfect 5/5 experience. They were good, but unfortunately all of the seafood mixed into the dish made it a little too salty. Also, another person at the table ordered the same dish and had two or three more shrimp than I did, so that was a bit of a bummer. Still, this was a great experience overall. I believe our server's name was Julian, or something that started with a J, and he did an amazing job. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely make sure to visit again.

It lets you enter the…read morenumber of people in your party and gives you an estimated wait time, which I found to be pretty accurate. It sends you text updates, and the technology is actually pretty cool. It can tell when you're not close enough yet and will tell you to check in once you're closer to the restaurant. There were 6 of us in the group, so reserving ahead definitely helped. I actually had to do it twice because we reserved our spot before we left, and by the time we got there, it had timed out. I checked in again, and when we arrived, the host said, "I see you checked in twice." He told us the wait would probably be about 10 minutes, and we ended up waiting less than that before being seated. Considering it's at Icon Park and it was the night of a game, the place was packed with a lot of hustle and bustle. I was impressed that we were seated so quickly, especially with a party of 6. Our waiter, Matt, was amazing, and the food was amazing too. We ordered what felt like almost every appetizer on the menu. We had the Cali Roll Stack, Parmesan truffle fries, crispy Brussels sprouts, spinach dip, and the vegan Gardein wings. The Cali Roll Stack was probably my favorite appetizer. It was so good, and it was made with real crab. Most places use imitation crab, and Matt even told us that's why it's his favorite appetizer too. He was absolutely right. The Gardein wings were surprisingly good. We ordered the Korean chili garlic and Buffalo flavors, and if nobody had told me they were vegan, I probably wouldn't have known. I'd never had a soy-based wing before, but I would definitely order them again. The Parmesan truffle fries were exactly what you want them to be, and the crispy Brussels sprouts disappeared fast. At that point, it seemed like everyone else was tapped out, but somehow we still had room to eat. We ordered the lobster garlic noodles, and they were amazing. They didn't skimp on the lobster either. There were big chunks of real lobster throughout the dish, along with spinach and garlic noodles. Definitely one of my favorite entrées of the night. I also tried the Key Lime Cider, and I liked that they let me sample it before ordering. It ended up being really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for. For dessert, we shared the brownie cookie topped with ice cream. Oh my God. I don't even like chocolate like that, and it was amazing. Yard House has never really disappointed me, but this visit was especially good. I don't know if we were just starving or if the chef was having an exceptional night, but kudos and hats off to the kitchen. Parking was easy too. Levels 3 and 4 of the garage were free, so there was no need to pay or get anything validated. Overall, everything was smooth from start to finish. Great service, great food, easy parking, and a surprisingly short wait despite how busy it was. 10/10, highly recommend.
