Fantastic samosas, although I found the rest of the food to be mediocre and the service to be disappointing. We popped in on a Saturday night and there was only 1 other table in the restaurant, with a sprinkling of to-go orders. The server was very inattentive and the ambiance was awkward. There would be moments where the music would start and stop or the tv would randomly start playing loudly or the phone would be ringing for minutes at a time. Tables were left unbussed and we even had to fill up our own water from the water fountain. Seems like there could improvements to management and overall service training. Food: The samosas were super good and we loved the mint sauce and tamarind chutney! My boyfriend enjoyed the lamb Malabar. The chicken biryani was alright. I ordered it mild, but it came out pretty spicy so do be aware it's a bit spicier. The garlic naan tasted very buttery, almost like an artificial butter on top. I did enjoy the crispness to it.

Appetizer- burnt garlic Naan -Samosa -tasted of old oil - dipping sauce 1/2 of a small cup (said they were running low).

On the up side ... mango lassi was great. Drove 25 min to pick up this food as we were in Tampa only a night. So disappointed. I did call to voice my displeasure and awaiting hearing back from the owner- I do hope he will make this right. Dry, no yogurt with the chicken dish, only 1/2 a small plastic container for the Samosa which tasted of old oil and despite my request for chutneys (being willing to purchase but usually are complimentary in Atlanta) to receive 2 mint with lots of dry rice - no lemon - no yoghurt - just mostly dry rice. When I said the Naan was burnt - she said that is how their garlic naan comes. For those that like eating minced garlic from a jar- maybe you will like this. I hope they will make this right. Perhaps earlier in the evenings the food is much better. I really had hoped this was going to be delicious as it is a treat for me to have Indian food. No coconut dishes available and no chai tea and just dry rice with a perhaps a small chicken breast and just disappointing- ahhh... but the mango lassi was great!

Enjoyable food and flavors. We ordered 3 dishes and naan for delivery, it was plenty to feed two people. They give you plenty of rice.

    Maybe 1/3 full sauce

I don't know if I've ever tasted Indian food without spice before. But if that is something you would like to experience, I would suggest this place. I ordered a korma and I'm pretty sure they gave me some sort of butter chicken. I doubt they even added black pepper. We also ordered samosas and definitely we're not given half of the sauce needed. I would suggest any other Indian place anywhere else in Tampa. I have ordered here before and it was OK but this has ensured I will never order here again.

Best tikka masala and nan I've ever tasted!!!!! Service was on point. Much more elegant than I expected. And the price is so affordable. I will be back with friends

I really enjoyed my dinner here. This is a nice Indian restaurant. The waiter is very nice and the restaurant has a good vibe. I ordered lamb biryani, masala tea and mango ice cream. I asked the biryani to be medium spicy and I really like it except it to be bit oily. The masala tea is good and the mongo ice cream is great.

The place was dimly lit, Indian music playing. Good vibe. From the beginning when our server approached us, it was clear service was not going to be a big hit. And it wasn't. Our server seemed like she'd been forced to do this on the spot. No eye contact. No thoughtfulness or helpful demeanor. Very uneasy, trying to avoid us, it felt like. Didn't ask if we wanted drinks. Didn't offer cold water. That makes this place lose about 1.5 stars. The food was delicious. We started with the Samosa Chaat as an appetizer. Great way to begin, highly recommend it! Then we ordered the chicken tikka masala, the lamb curry, and some naan bread. All were good, but the curry and masala were lacking some flavor. Had to ask for salt. This is far from the best Indian restaurant I've been to, but it's a decent option if it's the thing closest to you.

The owner is such a nice guy and the food is here delicious! He let us in after temporarily closing to dining in to catch up delivery orders and after eating here I can see why he had so many! Some Of the best Indian food I've had in a long time! We had samosas, chili and garlic naan, so many mango lasseys and my friends even tricked me into trying goat and you know what ? It wasn't bad! So anyone out there whose scared to try new foods I'm here to tell you this wasn't bad at all! My favorite will always be chicken tikka Masalaa though, which is also amazing here!

Vegan options. Staff had great energy and patience to modify and explain dishes to make them vegan for me. Flavor was amazing and clean. Not greasy. Dining room was clean.

Every order is made FRESH! When I got my food it was piping hot. Love that. The butter chicken was super creamy and flavorful.. the chicken was a tad dry 8/10 I ordered medium spice chicken tikka but it was definitely mild (no spice).. this chicken was dry too 6.9/10 The garlic naan was a show stopper. Very buttery and lots of garlic! 9.5/10

He was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. We came during the busiest time, and even without a reservation, they were able to accommodate us. I would recommend making a reservation, especially during busy hours, to avoid waiting. Great food, great service, and a wonderful experience!

Perfectly seasoned, creamy, and incredibly fresh. We also shared a platter that came with a whole chicken and lamb over a bed of rice. Both the chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection, extremely flavorful, and well seasoned. Nothing was dry or bland. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The service was fast and friendly, and the portion sizes were very generous. The entire platter with all of this food was only $60, which is an amazing value for the quality and amount of food you get. Freshness really stood out the most. You can truly taste the quality in every dish. We'll definitely be back. Great food, great service, and very affordable for the quality. Highly recommend.

The exterior of the building was nothing to brag about, but the interior was neat, well laid out, and clean. The owners of the restaurant were up front to greet dinners. The waitress was prompt and attentive. Mirage features a lunch buffet, so I was able to sample small portions of a lot of offerrings. My first plate was filled with selections from the cold salad station (hummas, pita, Persan picket, baba ganosh, etc.). The entree station had four different rice (balas) preparations. There was Basmati rice, a savory rice and two of the balas were sweetened with fruit and spices. All were tasty. The proteins were primarily chicken selections, but there was a beef koobideh that was also delicious. There were a broad selection of lentil and vegetable stews, so I made multiple trips to the station eating them as a side dish to a protein, over basmati rice and savory rice preparations. It may have been a cultural fax paux, but I treated the falafel like a cornbread muffin as I enjoyed the stewed vegetables and lentils. It was a good meal polished off with a serving of baklava.
