In and out has the one of the best burgers, you can't really get sick of it. Always fresh and delicious and super affordable. The line is always wrapped around the block, that is usually a good sign the food is that good. The service here is good, the inside is always packed with people so we usually order in the drive thru. The lines move pretty quickly, our order has been accurate most of the time, we have had issues with our orders in the past. I like the location of this In-N-Out compared to the one next to my house in Carmel Mountain Ranch. However, the drive-through here is extremely slow. Other drive-throughs are much faster even when it's a long line which is most of the time. Busy location off the freeway. Clean & great crew! The kids at the counter really handled the pace of customers well, but the poor French fry guy could have used an assist! First of all very kind and helpful cashiers. They were great to take to orders and modifications and ensured everything was great. The line for the drive thru is long so there is a huge demand thus there is a wait. We waited about 15 minutes. Food was accurate and tasty. As a fast food restaurant better than anything they have around. It is very clean store, continuously team is sweeping and cleaning. Bathrooms were clean as well. Service was excellent from the start: the young man that was responsible for keeping the tables clean and tables is not only a hard worker but is very courteous and held the door open for me and my family as we stepped in. He worked nonstop even offering to take customers trash to the bin for them after they finished eating. OKAY this place is GREAT. here's my order: #2 combo - cheeseburger mustard fried with no pickles, whole grilled onions, chopped chillies. Cheese fries and a Diet Coke. What I love is that you can customize it and they don't change the price. Wish that they added more cheese throughout the cheese fries instead of just slapping it on top. Parking lot can get super packed sometimes to the unhealthy point where it reaches the street and blocks the intersection going to raising canes so it can kinda be a hazard. Love the consistency of In-N-Out. You know what you're getting no matter what location you go to. Our group of eight went for lunch on Sunday and while it was busy we were able to order and find tables inside and get our food without 15 mins. I learned a new secret menu item. Mustard fried patties. They put mustard on your burger patty and apparently it gives the patty some extra zing. I'll try that next time. Their burgers are delicious; fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted buns, and sauce (spread) that just makes the meal. I will acknowledge that their fries are typically meh, but ordering them Animal Style solves all your problems. It took me a long time to discover adding chopped chilis to my fries but now I'll never go back! If it's your first time visiting, read up on other "secret menu" hacks to elevate your meal :) This particular location is right off the 15 freeway and next to a gas station. It can get very busy both inside and in the drive-thru but the lines usually move quickly. Service is efficient and prices are inexpensive. This Escondido location was no exception, it has a decent sized parking lot with the drive thru wrapping around the back and the restaurant was very clean. This place is unbelievable! The customer service was ridiculous! First off, I walked in and Gregg was taking orders. There was a man of Mexican decent in front of me and Gregg told him you are number 45" and the proceeded to say 45 in Spanish. I was offended and wasn't even with this man. Then our turn to order, we ask if they give military discounts. They said no, only nurses, police and fire fighters. My son is a fire fighter, who was with me and told Gregg he was a fire fighter. Gregg told him he had to be in uniform and his fire fighting ID did not suffice. After I told him that was ridiculous, he asked Paris, his manager. She made Gregg take my son's order off and do a separate order so only his order gets the discount. Fine! Whatever! Well, my son eats his burger and decides he wants another one. Paris, the manager, lectures him that she will "give him his discount this time but needs to be in uniform." I can hear her telling him this while I'm sitting down across the restaurant, by the door.
