My wife loves their egg salad sandwich on squaw bread, but this time the bread was so stale and hard, you could see it was bad just by looking at it. Touching it even more so. So the person who made this sandwich knew it was stale, still made the sandwich, wrapped it and sold it to us. We had to put some of our bread at home on it. Not cool. This spot really came through for me tonight! I needed a good beer and some dinner. After going around town with no luck I stopped here on my way home and it made my night! The exact beer I wanted to gift someone AND one of my favorite stouts were both here! I decided to order the French dip (Glen Mead) with horseradish. Yum! Satisfied and happy tummy here. Greeted by friendly owner(male) and staff. Tried 2 cold sandwiches which I forget the names (red rock and BLT possibly) but one was turkey and other mixed meats. It was so fresh, tasty delicious with just the amount of lettuce, mustard etc. There is outdoor dining with mist cooling you down. Super cute location with the most gorgeous decor. We were staying at a local Airbnb in rural part of town for Thanksgiving. It got dark so we had to order through DoorDash. We ordered pizzas, Asian salad and a breaded hot chicken sandwich. The pizza was very good. My salad was very very good. unfortunately the sandwich did not come with our order. I don't know if it was missed or what happened to it. Our driver delivered pretty quickly, I just hope he did not take our sandwich. My daughter called and they were very good about crediting her for the amount. We live in Hidden Meadows and are fortunate to have 2 very good Market and Deli options in the area right across from the Golf course near the Fire Station. Both of them offer wonderful sandwiches, soups and lunch specials. It's hard to say which one of them I like better as they are both excellent with good service and wonderful food. They are both located adjacent to each other, which is very convenient as they also offer groceries and fresh produce. If one is out of stock on something, you can always check on the other store's offerings. This is an isolated area, even so, neither of these store take advantage of this and both of their pricing policies seen reasonable to me. It's such a blessing to have them nearby, the quality and service are both wonderful. read more

A great little market. They had a large variety of items. They had a little bit of everything you would need and expect from a large supermarket. The wine selection is extensive and a nice surprise. This review resulted from a pizza check on this Friday eve. We had visited the Side Yard Public House earlier in the day and walked through this and the market across the parking lot. Some interesting findings, including each of the markets, that are within 20 yards of each other, both serve deli-style sandwiches and fresh-baked pizzas, AND even share the same parking spots out front. While we didn't strictly or accurately compare menu to menu, we did notice that one showed a calzone, and another showed delivery service available. So, we made an agreement for the future, that we were going to get a pizza from each market, and compare pizza to pizza. We didn't know it was going to be tonight...the same night. Our son was sent up the hill to buy a pizza from each store. He decided to bring home two small pies from each market. A small supreme (everything) and a small vegetarian from each. That's four pizzas... for three people. We were now eating pizza for several days after. First thing we noticed was the size of the box, hence the size of the pizza from each was obvious at first glance. The smaller box (~ $3 less per pie) had an order receipt taped on it that identified the market from which it was prepared. The other box (larger) was plain white with no identification but contained a significantly larger pie. We guessed the pizza in the white box was about double the size in diameter but only about 1/3 larger (amount of ingredients and dough used). The other pie had a more 'hand tossed' look with a fluffier crust edge. A peek behind the counters in each market revealed what appeared to be a relatively standard pizza oven in each kitchen. The bottoms of each pie confirmed they were not cooked on a belt-drive but that each had its own character of preparation. While some of the visual characteristics of each pie were obvious, there was really only subtle differences in taste, flavor and texture. The crusts tasted almost identical as did the sauces used. They both appeared to use fresh ingredients but the larger pie cut the vegetables smaller and had a more uniform crust edge that made the topping less discernible on the finished product. Bottom line is they were both rather ok pizzas. Neither of the pizzas got our vote for anything better than just a good mark. Plenty of black olives this evening. There are far more delicious pizzas in the area; although given the location, these both serve a distinct purpose for the demographic they attract. I can't say we won't be back. We will probably again be back to compare sandwich menus (look for that review) and have another pie. Other than a good Pizza Hut takeout location at Welk nearby, this place is definitely the closest crafted pie from our location. Keep up the good work. Both stores are good for their purpose. Where to begin here... this is the original market in the lot, the market across from here opened its doors to offer some sort of competition but it's basically a souless version of this place, but honestly as far as products offered they are basically identical. Typical unhealthy food and drink you would find at a gas station is how I would summarize what's offered here. Nothing offered here is actually high quality, or a good price aside from some beer. Everything costs more than it should. Alex, the owner of this place is a nice guy but it doesn't make this a good place if I'm being honest and he's not the only person who works here and he's not always working. I've ordered pizza here a few times and while it does in a pinch it is some of the worst and most overpriced pizza I've ever had. It also takes 30 minutes every time, even if the store is completely dead off-hours. You are better off driving somewhere further away if you want good pizza, and honestly you will be paying less. Hell, even some frozen pizzas are better and much cheaper. I've gotten expired food here so always check the dates if you still decide to come here, but I don't recommend it to anyone. read more

Located in the isolated community of Hidden Meadows, this small market also serves as a deli and take-away pizza shop. Sandwiches. I give them a ton of credit offering a huge sandwich selection especially seeing they're so new. I know that over time they'll refine their sandwiches. Their hot sandwiches are basically slices of toast with a sandwich components inside. Probably a better approach would be to just make panini style hot sandwiches. The toast gets soggy very quickly and toasted bread can shred the top of your mouth. What's not disputable are the great looking pizza that everyone seemed to ordering to go. One thing is for sure, next time I stop by I'll be picking up one of their XL Garlic Lover's. Everything about this place makes you want to come back again. After 30 years visiting this area just found this gem. We stopped in several times on our last trip. We've had their pastrami hot sandwich, the Italian hot sandwich and the Italian pizza.
