She has regular bath/grooming sessions there as well. As such, we have had the opportunity to get to know most of the Uptown Team throughout the years, from the day care staff to management to trainers, and they have been nothing but caring, supportive, knowledgable and accommodating. She is always clearly happy and excited to see them, no matter which staff member it is, when we drop her off. When our dog was younger we tried out a few other day care businesses to see what was out there, and Uptown Pup was the only place where we felt our dog was cared for and received an individual focus; each Uptown staffer truly cares about the dogs' well-being and wants each one to flourish. Our dog has anxiety issues, particularly with loud noises such as thunderstorms and fireworks, and Uptown has consistently gone above and beyond to help her with this, including taking her aside from her group to relax and hang out during day care. During her boarding stays the staff has also paid extra attention to make sure she was comfortable. She also has a food allergy and a sensitive stomach, and the staff always remains cognizant of this and makes sure she avoids certain types of treats/foods when she's there. These are just a few examples of the care that Uptown takes for clients. For anyone deciding whether to entrust Uptown Pup with their day care, boarding, training or grooming needs, this probably sums it up best: we wouldn't just recommend Uptown Pup - we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else BUT Uptown Pup.

They had been there for a week and the staff's question to me was "it wasn't like that when you dropped him off?" They clearly had not been paying attention to him. Apparently he had a medical event while I was gone. This could've been treated if they were checking on him daily as they are supposed to, instead my dog ended up LOSING HIS EYE. They also lost a bag of toys and treats that I taken for my dogs. It took them a week to locate it and return it to me. They refused to give a refund for the stay. I will never bring my babies back there, and recommend other pet owners avoid!

Enter Walk n' Wag! As soon as you fill out a contact form on the website, Elise schedules a complimentary consultation with you. She takes the time to get to know you, your needs, and your pup! I loved that she asked about our pup's daily routine, inquired about any training we would want her to continue to implement, and wanted to know more about our pup's favorite things. She has a well thought out contract that made me feel safe about letting someone in our home and someone handle our pup without us there. We have Elise spend time with our pup about 3 times a week. They connected immediately, which I attribute 100% to Elise's kind spirit and love for animals. Our home is always left spotless and secured, with the only evidence of her visit being 1) a tired pup and 2) a sweet message on a whiteboard describing the fun adventures she and our pup have been on that day. In terms of scheduling, Walk n' Wag is super flexible. We have a standing appointment, which is effortless for us! However, when needed, we've also been able to cancel our recurring appointments, and add extra ones. Elise has been so flexible, and we are so appreciative. Payment is a breeze- we can connect a bank account or use a card using a secure payment platform, without the awkwardness of leaving cash on the counter or mailing a check. My only regret is not being able to utilize this wonderful company more often- if we could have Elise visit 2x a day, we would! She rang the doorbell multiple times while I was on a client call - I had explained in the email that I was not available till after 5 PM. After walking at the sitter through my home and explaining how to take care of my cats, I provided her my passcode to the garage and the passcode to my security system and she accepted a key to my home. The sitter accepted a gift from me upon leaving and stated she would be the permanent sitter to care for my pets if I were to use the service again. She said she would "be sure to give them love." The next day I get an email from the owner stating that the sitter felt "uncomfortable" with watching my pets and not only was she refusing service but the company would not be finding a replacement. I was not given any specifics. I live in downtown Carmel in a good area, by myself. Nothing about my home or neighborhood is threatening. This email came after the sitter accepted a gift and asked me for all my home passcodes. I feel like I'm being discriminated against by this company and or they've taken my information and then some thing with it! Either way I'm THE ONE now feeling extremely uncomfortable and uneasy with the experience of Fetch Pet Care! Also to note, I used the service in 2019 and the sitter gave one of my cats the WRONG food to a cat with a Heath condition. I chose to overlook this and continue with booking services but obviously that should've been my initial red flag to look elsewhere. Before writing this review the owner did not return my emails or calls with my concerns. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for discriminatory treatment. I've asked for the gift and my key back. In the initial email owner states Phyllis stated that my key is in the mail?! In no way should my home key be in the mail! This means it's open to being tampered with now I feel like I have to change my locks! STEER CLEAR of this company - they're incredibly unsafe, unprofessionally ran, dishonest, will treat your key without safekeeping. Your home is your safe pace and they will disrespect and violated that! I also feel that I'm being discriminated against either for my race, gender, who knows!

Everything can be scheduled online and you can indicate what day you would like trash wheeled to the curb, plants watered etc. Lilly is the happiest and healthiest she has ever been after we have returned from the two trips in which we have used HappyTails services. She is on medication for her blood pressure and has terrible anxiety when we leave her alone. I think she actually gained weight this last trip - which is incredible at her age! Lilly really has warmed up to Dana and that makes my heart so happy knowing Lilly trusts her. Will continue to use HappyTails and highly recommend as a cat sitting service.
