12 piece combo with tots - lemon pepper, Parmesan garlic, and Tikka masala

Reasonable wings and this place also serves beer! We shared a 12 piece bone-in combo (we swapped tots for fries for an extra $1) and we ordered the tikka masala, the lemon pepper, and the parmesan garlic. The tikka masala sauce was a revelation - a light curry sauce that was not spicy and was perfect for dipping the tots. The lemon pepper was nice and balanced - not too much pepper. The parmesan garlic wings were solid as well. It will take 10 minutes or so for your order, but that is because everything is made to order! The

Monster Wings is nicely tucked within Todos Santos Plaza. There's a decent-sized parking lot located next door. The lot holds about 10 cars. Upon entering Monster, you'll notice the similarity to a Buffalo Wild Wings (their logos look somewhat similar). Monster had a small bar (to the right) within its 200 square foot dining area. The bar was unmanned but it contained three, 30 inch T.V.'s for our entertainment. The dining area had a single family with a few kids eating near the front. A few customers trickled inside, but, overall, it wasn't considered "too busy". I was disappointed to hear that their lumpia appetizers were "sold out". Surprisingly, it was still early in the evening (6:30 pm). I spent about $35 ( before tax/tip) on 17 wings. The flavors we ordered were Teriyaki, Tikka Masala, Sweet Curry and Thai Chili. 12 wings came with a choice of chips, while 5 of the wings came with a choice of plain fries. We waited for a good 10-12 minutes for our wings to arrive. I was impressed by the clean presentation of our food. The wings and things were nicely assembled. Although I took a few minutes of taking foodie pics, the fries, chips and wings were just "warm". The chips and fries were underseasoned. Also, the wings were neither plump or juicy. While the wings tasted decent, it lacked the freshness that I was seeking in newly fried food. It seemed that the chef prioritized on the presentation of the dishes as opposed to the food's temperature, quality of ingredients and the flavors. It was a very "basic" wing experience.

This was my first time here and and I really enjoyed everything I had. I walked and quickly greeted the friendly cashier. I ordered the boneless wings and flavors that I tried was the Nashville hot so delicious, and it came with bread and butter pickcles, which were sweet to the heat. The Tikka Masala was spot on and delicious. The Zilla and the Thai chili were also great. Every piece was moist and tender, also perfectly cooked. The location was huge and has a beer bar with plenty of tv's to watch games and some seating out front. I can't wait to return and try some of the other flavors.

Congratulations on managing to stay open during the pandemic!(They opened shortly after SIP) Let's all continue to support small businesses. Lots to love about The Monster Wings, prime location at Todo Santos, good variety of chicken wings and they even have lumpia! Paired with some beer and you have a party in your belly! Don't forget to try honey butter wings. The owner even visited our table and said hello. Great service and friendly people.

I forgot to do my review and this was saved in my drafts! We were walking around trying to figure out. We we're looking at the menu outside and a man came out and asked us if we have tried them before. He told us they had lumpia too so we thought we would try them out. I know why they call them monster wings! They are HUGE! Juicy and tasty! Lumpia was good too. I would recommend this place. The cheese wings reminds me of the cheese they use for popcorn ( the toppings)

I'm giving them a 4 star but this is actually more deserving of 3.5 stars. They replaced the old Fire Wings, same interior but different menu. There's seating indoors and outside. I love that they have hand washing stations outside of the restroom so you don't have to go in the bathroom if you're just looking to wash your hands (saucy fingers gang)! We tried 3 wing flavors: Ghost buster- might just be my fav Buffalo out of all the chains. Perfect amount of heat, and not overly vinegary (talking about you bww) Lemon pepper- my least fav of the trio. The lemon pepper flavor just wasn't there at all and these wings seem battered with a thin coating. Zilla- this one has so much potential but just missed the mark a little bit. If this one had some heat, it would elevate the flavor by so much but unfortunately, you get a strong taste of sweet soy sauce only. The umami is there, it just needs boost. We also has seasoned fries and garlic cheese curds. These fries are sooooo crispy but the inside is soft, which is perfect. My SO thought it was overly crispy though. The fries seem battered too... which was unexpected. Garlic cheese curds we're amazing! I had them dipped in ranch and honey mustard, for a little oomph. The serving is huge, and I kinda wish they served various sizes since I'm the only one who eats cheese in my duo. I probably wouldn't get this again for $7 when I can only eat like 1/4 of the order by myself. Service was courteous and the restaurant was clean. I look forward to going back and trying more flavors!

Drove by this place for the past couple of months and have wanted to stop in and sure glad we finally did! We tried boneless wings- Thai chili, ghostbuster, and the teriyaki 15 piece. The flavors were spot on and the textures were perfect. We also tried The Monster bone in wings and they brought the heat. They were flavorful and short burn. Loved the flavors all around. They have a great beer selection as well. TV's playing sports and friendly and helpful employees. Definitely coming back and highly recommend :)

Food was ready earlier then yelped predicted which was no fault to the restaurant but the wings themselves were not that great. Asked for extra crispy and they were not. Flavor is barley there on the Lemon pepper and Thai chili. Maybe it's better to eat it there but for my first experience it's making me not want to come back. Could of gotten a better meal somewhere else. Also found a small bug in my fries. Later that day- I did get a call back from monster wings corp. the lady who I spoke with was very kind and wanted to hear my concerns so they can better improve on what happened. I would like to give it another try at a later time to see if it can wow me .

Loved their wings here. Just done right, not overcooked or a sodium overload like that other wings place (that I dare not mention). I have issues with certain cooking oils and usually avoid anything fried since it ignites chronic muscle pain inflammation issues that I have but dining here I did not experience any inflammation issues so I am assuming they use a better quality frying oil than other places. My senior citizen mom also liked the wings since it was not too salty and she had no digestive issues after dining here which a feat in itself. Two thumbs up also for the lady who works here who cleaned up our table coming in since the prior occupants were not able to properly clean up after themselves. ClMade the table nice and clean prior to us sitting.

Monster Wings showed up on my Yelp search when I was looking for a new chicken place to try out. The reviews looked promising so I placed an order here for pickup several weeks ago. I ordered the 5 piece wings, tater tots and a drink. I got my wings with the honey butter flavor. When I arrived there I saw that they canceled my order for tots since they ran out. I was bummed but opted for the fries instead. Overall, the food was okay but I kind of already forgot how it tasted. I think it was just alright?

Love this spot, food is good! And place is a vibe if you dine in. Service was 10/10, always asked if we needed anything!

Ordered through Doordash and got my food in about 30 minutes or so. Wings were still crispy on arrival, as were the fries. The Buffalo is exactly what you'd expect from a hot wing, the snow cheese is sort of a hot wing crossed with a cheeto and has a certain redneck appeal to it. The lemon pepper wings were my least favorite, they had more of an artificial citric acid tang to them than a lemon flavor, but nothing so bad i couldn't finish them. read more

Ordered some wings for pick up. The location was clean and it smelled delicious. My food was wrapped they didn't pour my to-go drink until I got there and they even remembered the ranch. I ordered 3 flavors (salt & pepper, the Ghost Buster, and Zilla) all great! I will say the Ghost Buster is pretty damn hot! Monster Wings definitely takes my vote for the BEST WINGS in Concord! read more

LOVE THIS WING PLACE! So, my teen son is HOOKED on wings. He'd eat them 3x a week if I'd let him (or could afford it!) We used to go to B-WW's a LOT, but they went so downhill, we stopped. Then to the 'OTHER' place (W-STOP), he likes it, but me not so much. Was excited to try this place as it's newer in our area, and BEST thing... they had a lot of options for flavors, and they sounded awesome. We stopped in this past weekend before walking over to a movie. Got a lot of wings between the 5 of us, we had 6-7 flavors to try. Prices are a little high (IMO) but, the quality and flavor made up for it. $15 gets you an 8-piece combo (2 flavors) + a side +a drink. Service was great, workers were super friendly. My favorite by far were the Thai Chili (sweet and spicy) and the Garlic Parmesan. The skin on these wings is so crispy, light and crunchy- every bite was SOOO good! My son loved the honey butter wings, those were his favorite by far. And my husband liked the Nashville (pictured) - it came with pickles! Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We have a new wing place!! YAY!!! And a BIG PLUS- being a small business, s opposed to a big chain, I know our support means so much more to them than lining the pockets of the president or CEO of those other chain places. And that matters. Monster Wings- we're here for it!!!!! read more

The location is great and easy parking locations close by. Menu is varied with plenty of great choices of sauces. We dined in and seating are was spread out, clean and all had a nice atmosphere. Wings were great and served promptly, hot and tasty. A must trying your a wing person. read more

The hubby gives this place 5 stars. He got the monster sauce and the ghostbuster. Neither were as hot has he would have liked but the flavor was so on point he couldn't stop eating them. Down to sucking on the bone which never happens so this place must be good. Next time we go I'll have to try the meatless wings. I should have looked at the menu before assuming they had no vegan options. The only issue was the ranch they have is to thin but other than that this place is a winner. read more

So Fire Wings was my favorite spot so I tried to give this place a chance. Price is to high. Salt and Pepper taste like regular chicken. Soda that used to be large at Fire Wings is no a 12oz. Won't be coming back here after 24.00 later for a combo that is 15.00 at Fire Wings just crazy. read more

Very cool restaurant, sports oriented type of atmosphere, multiple big screens, very clean and excellent customer service, unfortunately the wings were far from monster. So happy to try Monster Wings with a big group of friends as it allowed us to try 6 delicious flavors - Buffalo, The Ghostbuster, Sweet Curry, Snow Cheese, Zilla and Honey Butter plus waffles and fries. They also served a variety of domestic and craft beer on draft and bottles. My favorite combination was The Ghostbuster with seasoned fries and iced cold Mango Cart beer. And, let's not forget the beignets cooked to a perfect texture and served with the most amazing dipping sauce. YUM!!! The service was friendly and quick considering everything is cooked to order. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of items on the menu. read more

This is a former Firewings with the same menu but different. Less wing flavors available (15 versus 21). Got the Monster Wings which was their hottest flavor but it barely tingled. Also got the lemon pepper which was interestingly buttery. They also offer sandwiches, bao bun (gotta try this next), different varieties of fries, fried mushrooms, and a bunch of odds and ends. read more

I really wanted to love this place. Wings were a great size but I guess size doesn't always matter. Super salty and the sauces weren't that great. Wing stop still kills the flavor game. I gave this place 3 stars because they have amazing lumpia and the owner was super nice and awesome and I will go back because of those two reasons. Otherwise they need to revamp a little bit. Too pricey for what your getting. read more

Tried this place for the first time and unfortunately was very disappointed. I tried the garlic parmesan and honey butter and both were super bland. They had a good crunch but there was no flavor. Seasoned fries were okay but nothing special. Also, for 15 wings they only offer 1 sauce and charge .75 for extra sauce. How is 1 sauce supposed to last for 15 wings!? You definitely need sauce too because the chicken itself has no flavor. Unfortunately won't be returning. read more

My son brought me here for lunch today. He said it was the best and I agree with him! outstanding, juicy, tender chicken sandwich. I ordered Nashville mild and it was great! He ordered the Nashville Da Freaking Hot! Wings to take home, Snow cheese, Honey butter and Thai chili. So so good! Lumpia's too. Ordered boneless wings. They were tough and hard to chew. Also ordered cheese curds. They were way too overdone and had to have them remake them. Only reason not a one star was that the staff member was really nice. read more

Ordered boneless Buffalo wings because of the Tuesday and Wednesday deal. Stick to the bone in wings lmao. These boneless wings are larger versions of those boneless wings that you'll see in the frozen section of a supermarket. It literally feels exactly like them. So they are not worth it at all. Stick to Wingstop's boneless wings, which are generally really good. Plus, there's a wingstop like 5 more mins away and offers a similar deal on monday and tuesdays. I wish it was better cause I'd absolutely support a halal food spot, but this is not it. Not at all. read more

not good, came with my friends and none of us enjoyed the food. i got the chicken sammy and i was in shock to find out their was more buns then chicken. i order the nashville hot and that shit was no where near hot! food took forever to come out and some of my friends didnt even get the fries and they replaced it with these stale ass potato chips. shit was like chewing gum. do not reccommend this spot, just go to fresh tray! now that place is bussin. -5 stars read more

This is our second time here, will definitely keep coming back. In our first experience we were just looking for a resto to dine at from a trip, and because this was a new place in the area, we decided to give it a shot thinking it would be the same as Wingstop, which we also like, but WOW so much better than Wingstop! You should try to believe it! They have way better flavors than the competition, and other options besides chicken like "lumpia", "sisig fries", etc. Their boneless chicken is also very good and flavorful! Ask the servers for the bestsellers as I forgot which ones they were, but Any flavor I think would work depending on preference. The servers were super friendly too. Even when it's busy they are able to keep their composure though it can be very exhausting for the staff! Kudos to this newbie!!! read more

Was a little skeptical about coming here since it's so new, but I'm glad we did. Their Thai chili wings and chicken bao sandwiches were BOMB. fries were nice and crispy. They have beer with a Happy hour Sunday thru Thursday 8pm to closing, half off beers, good selection. Definitely worth coming back again and again. read more

..so my friend and i was on Salvio Street leading to the park. Further down was Von's and was my first chicken joint in Concord ( and I believe it's also korean)...so 2 days ago we went to the same street and saw 2 chicken joints, Fresh Tray and in front of it is Monster Wings. so we ended up choosing Monster Wings as it has a bigger patio....walk up the counter and was greeted nicely by the girl in cash registers. I ask her what's good as I just found out they are new in town, just like I am. I was disappointed as she has no clue what is actually good. Understandable as it is new. To be safe we ordered Salt and Pepper, garlic parm, buffalo...we did try the monster. I must say it needs a lot of improvement! salt and pepper ...too salty. The Monster was not even closed to spicy...I guessed they are new. We did order other items...just to try. the waffles was to plain. It taste like the ones you buy from grocery store. Ambiance was ok...but just like Buffalo wild wings...to many TV for such a small space. I would love to to give it better stars..but they need to improved a lot more. Sooo I HAVE to leave another amazing review because I have been coming for months now ever since I found out about them when they first opened! The wings are always served hot and saucy, the staff are always so nice and patient in recommending combinations(you never see restaurant employees actually like the food they serve nowadays but the employees here actually get excited to tell you their favorites!), and the ambience of the restaurant itself is above and beyond. I am not gonna lie at first I came by myself but every single time now I always bring someone new to urge them to try as well! And they are always left impressed! At this point, I'd like to call myself a regular at this spot because I am here too often! The good thing is wings aren't the only things they have, all the people in front of me in line were all ordering the Lumpia and with them being excited over them (sounds like they always order them) i just had to get some for myself! SO GOOD no wonder everyone was raving about it! They also mentioned that its an original recipe made fresh in their kitchen. I recently tried Monster Wings and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. First off, the prices were way too high for what they offered. I ordered their Nashville tenders, hoping for a flavorful experience, but they turned out to be disgustingly spicy to the point where it was overwhelming and not enjoyable at all. The fries that came with it were disappointingly dry, lacking any crispness or flavor. To add to the disappointment, the ranch sauce provided was incredibly watery, which ruined any chance of salvaging the meal. I work around the area and heard this place was new. I always passed by this restaurant on weekend nights and it always looked pretty busy. I ordered their 12pc bone in combo(I was really hungry) of thai chili, zilla, and buffalo with plain fries and belgian waffle(?). I'm not gonna lie those flavors were really good and unique too! And that waffle was a nice touch. Instead of the nice bowl of with dumplings in the middle, what I got was a cup consisting of gummy dumpling strips, with no chicken chunks or chopped vegetables. It tasted ok, but was difficult to eat because it was a solid mass of dumplings. I also bought clam chowder. It was extremely watery, no creaminess or thickness to it, and had an incredibly strong spoiled seafood taste. I ended up throwing it out. My friend ordered broccoli/cheddar soup. It was equally watery, and she said it lacked flavor and seasoning. I wanted to see the various sizes, (sm, med, lg), and the person behind the counter had to go to the storeroom to retrieve med and lg since they didn't even keep any behind the counter. I bought medium sized cups, but they didn't have the correct lids to fit them. What they had was lids that were a millimeter or two larger than the lip of the cup. So while it looked like they fit, they would fall off when one picked up the container. One would think that if your primary business was selling cups of soup, at a minimum you would have the sizes at the counter, and especially the correct size lids for the containers. Luckily, the containers of soup were placed in plastic bags first, so I tied a knot in the bag as close to the container as possible to hold the lid on. When it inevitably leaked from the ill fitting lid, it was contained in the bottom of the bag, rather than making a mess in my car. On a positive note, I bought the vegetable soup. Only issue was a lack of salt/pepper, but that was easily corrected.
