12 piece combo with tots - lemon pepper, Parmesan garlic, and Tikka masala

Reasonable wings and this place also serves beer! We shared a 12 piece bone-in combo (we swapped tots for fries for an extra $1) and we ordered the tikka masala, the lemon pepper, and the parmesan garlic. The tikka masala sauce was a revelation - a light curry sauce that was not spicy and was perfect for dipping the tots. The lemon pepper was nice and balanced - not too much pepper. The parmesan garlic wings were solid as well. It will take 10 minutes or so for your order, but that is because everything is made to order! The

Monster Wings is nicely tucked within Todos Santos Plaza. There's a decent-sized parking lot located next door. The lot holds about 10 cars. Upon entering Monster, you'll notice the similarity to a Buffalo Wild Wings (their logos look somewhat similar). Monster had a small bar (to the right) within its 200 square foot dining area. The bar was unmanned but it contained three, 30 inch T.V.'s for our entertainment. The dining area had a single family with a few kids eating near the front. A few customers trickled inside, but, overall, it wasn't considered "too busy". I was disappointed to hear that their lumpia appetizers were "sold out". Surprisingly, it was still early in the evening (6:30 pm). I spent about $35 ( before tax/tip) on 17 wings. The flavors we ordered were Teriyaki, Tikka Masala, Sweet Curry and Thai Chili. 12 wings came with a choice of chips, while 5 of the wings came with a choice of plain fries. We waited for a good 10-12 minutes for our wings to arrive. I was impressed by the clean presentation of our food. The wings and things were nicely assembled. Although I took a few minutes of taking foodie pics, the fries, chips and wings were just "warm". The chips and fries were underseasoned. Also, the wings were neither plump or juicy. While the wings tasted decent, it lacked the freshness that I was seeking in newly fried food. It seemed that the chef prioritized on the presentation of the dishes as opposed to the food's temperature, quality of ingredients and the flavors. It was a very "basic" wing experience.

This was my first time here and and I really enjoyed everything I had. I walked and quickly greeted the friendly cashier. I ordered the boneless wings and flavors that I tried was the Nashville hot so delicious, and it came with bread and butter pickcles, which were sweet to the heat. The Tikka Masala was spot on and delicious. The Zilla and the Thai chili were also great. Every piece was moist and tender, also perfectly cooked. The location was huge and has a beer bar with plenty of tv's to watch games and some seating out front. I can't wait to return and try some of the other flavors.

Congratulations on managing to stay open during the pandemic!(They opened shortly after SIP) Let's all continue to support small businesses. Lots to love about The Monster Wings, prime location at Todo Santos, good variety of chicken wings and they even have lumpia! Paired with some beer and you have a party in your belly! I forgot to do my review and this was saved in my drafts! We were walking around trying to figure out. We we're looking at the menu outside and a man came out and asked us if we have tried them before. He told us they had lumpia too so we thought we would try them out. I know why they call them monster wings! They are HUGE! Juicy and tasty! Lumpia was good too. I would recommend this place. The cheese wings reminds me of the cheese they use for popcorn ( the toppings)

I'm giving them a 4 star but this is actually more deserving of 3.5 stars. They replaced the old Fire Wings, same interior but different menu. There's seating indoors and outside. I love that they have hand washing stations outside of the restroom so you don't have to go in the bathroom if you're just looking to wash your hands (saucy fingers gang)! We tried 3 wing flavors: Ghost buster- might just be my fav Buffalo out of all the chains. Perfect amount of heat, and not overly vinegary (talking about you bww) Lemon pepper- my least fav of the trio. The lemon pepper flavor just wasn't there at all and these wings seem battered with a thin coating. Zilla- this one has so much potential but just missed the mark a little bit. If this one had some heat, it would elevate the flavor by so much but unfortunately, you get a strong taste of sweet soy sauce only. The umami is there, it just needs boost. We also has seasoned fries and garlic cheese curds. These fries are sooooo crispy but the inside is soft, which is perfect. My SO thought it was overly crispy though. The fries seem battered too... which was unexpected. Garlic cheese curds we're amazing! I had them dipped in ranch and honey mustard, for a little oomph. The serving is huge, and I kinda wish they served various sizes since I'm the only one who eats cheese in my duo. I probably wouldn't get this again for $7 when I can only eat like 1/4 of the order by myself. Service was courteous and the restaurant was clean. I look forward to going back and trying more flavors!

Drove by this place for the past couple of months and have wanted to stop in and sure glad we finally did! We tried boneless wings- Thai chili, ghostbuster, and the teriyaki 15 piece. The flavors were spot on and the textures were perfect. We also tried The Monster bone in wings and they brought the heat. They were flavorful and short burn. Loved the flavors all around. They have a great beer selection as well. TV's playing sports and friendly and helpful employees. Definitely coming back and highly recommend :)

Food was ready earlier then yelped predicted which was no fault to the restaurant but the wings themselves were not that great. Asked for extra crispy and they were not. Flavor is barley there on the Lemon pepper and Thai chili. Maybe it's better to eat it there but for my first experience it's making me not want to come back. Could of gotten a better meal somewhere else. Also found a small bug in my fries. Later that day- I did get a call back from monster wings corp. the lady who I spoke with was very kind and wanted to hear my concerns so they can better improve on what happened. I would like to give it another try at a later time to see if it can wow me .

Loved their wings here. Just done right, not overcooked or a sodium overload like that other wings place (that I dare not mention). I have issues with certain cooking oils and usually avoid anything fried since it ignites chronic muscle pain inflammation issues that I have but dining here I did not experience any inflammation issues so I am assuming they use a better quality frying oil than other places. My senior citizen mom also liked the wings since it was not too salty and she had no digestive issues after dining here which a feat in itself. Two thumbs up also for the lady who works here who cleaned up our table coming in since the prior occupants were not able to properly clean up after themselves. ClMade the table nice and clean prior to us sitting.

Monster Wings showed up on my Yelp search when I was looking for a new chicken place to try out. The reviews looked promising so I placed an order here for pickup several weeks ago. I ordered the 5 piece wings, tater tots and a drink. I got my wings with the honey butter flavor. When I arrived there I saw that they canceled my order for tots since they ran out. I was bummed but opted for the fries instead. Overall, the food was okay but I kind of already forgot how it tasted. I think it was just alright?

Picked up some wings for dinner at home...and, they were great! By the time we got home, they were still warm and just as tasty. 1. 5 wing meal (all ghostbuster flavor) + tater tots 2. 8 wing meal (lemon pepper & Thai chili) + regular seasoned fries Tater tots were crispy. Ghostbuster is a must try if you like spice...it's easy to enjoy, but after you take that bite..you can def feel a small tingle :] not too crazy!! Also, the wings are big and very meaty. Not like other places, tbh. Definitely worth your money and your visit. read more

Get the zilla sauce I would literally die for it. Also, it's sweet that they offer a plant based option for wings. The staff is friendly and I've never had to wait long. Also, just a great place in general to unwind and watch sports. read more

Not just another wing spot! But very very good wings. They have the traditional flavors we all love but they have a few original ones that you definitely shouldn't miss. I would give this place a 5 if it wasn't for this wing. The snow cheddar wing is just the Mac & cheese powder, deep fried. It's absolutely foul. And you can tell by the pic that's what it is. Their sat & pepper, and Thai chili wing are AMAZING. I could eat them daily. read more

We always come for the warriors and niner games, nice atmosphere and great customer service. Today my wing were just like I like them. We ordered garlic parm, tikka masala, and bbq. I asked for extra crispy because I don't do the slimy wings. As far as price point it's expensive to me, but they do have some good flavors. read more

True story I've eaten here three days in a row! It's that good. Now the first time I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and wow a little too spicy for my taste. But if you're a fan of the spicy sauce you'll love it. Really good food. This location use to be a Fire Wings wing joint and then Monster Wings opened up. They don't deliver yet so pick up or dine in only. They also have a nice outdoor dining set up and a bar inside. read more

Had a late dinner with the kids last night and we decided on this place. Previously it was Fire Wings and noticed the new restaurant. We ordered Buffalo, lemon pepper and Garlic Parmesan bone in wings. They were crispy and well seasoned. The taters is a good change from your regular fries. They have plenty of options on the menu. Landed here after Buffalo Wild Wings was charging an entrance fee because of a televised UFC fight. First impression was clean, and well kept. The staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. Pricing just perfect. Happy with our first impression we ordered our food; a 10 piece boneless combo with 1/2 ghostbuster sauce and 1/2 teriyaki sauce for the other 5. As we waited for our food I opted for a tasty beer on tap. I chose the Napa Smith Brewery Hoppageddon IPA. What an amazing beer that was. The beer selection wasn't huge but what that had there would satisfy most in search of an ice cold drink. Several brief moments later our food was delivered to our table by the friendly staff. The food was piping hot, the fries and the tater tots were all perfectly salted. The wings were full of flavor, not soggy, just the right amount of sauce and crispiness. I just have to say this will be my new stop now and not the other local wing spots. Keep up the great quality food and service and I'll be back! read more

Surprisingly good. I was worried based on other reviews that it would just be nasty soggy wings, but the flavors I got were pretty good. I would skip the garlic parmesan and I hear the snow cheese is awful, but the buffalo and ghost were very good. I would highly recommend the ghost to spicy lovers. Staff were a bit slow with the beers, but otherwise fine. Not the best wings Ive ever had, but definitely a step above wingstop. They are also huge! read more

Love the seasoned fries! Order a side of the tikka masala sauce to dip your fries!!! Salt and pepper could use more seasoning I know that sounds strange but they were a little bland. The Buffalo is good, it's not too spicy but really rich and goes well with the ranch. Like this place better than wingstop, wingstop always messes up my order and here they seem to really care about getting your food right. read more

Wanted to give it 4.5 because I was soulmates with the former location (Fire Wings) and also, Monster Wings has a blended menu array that I am not used to. And then I realized, that's really my problem, not theirs. Bwahahaha . So they get a 5 star because Jay the cashier was so friendly, professional, accommodating, and welcoming. Plus they still know how to burn (that's that's compliment) when it comes to their Wings. I ordered the salt & pepper and Ghostbusters (bone in) wings. I mean, the level of crispyness, flavor, and (on ghostbusters) the heat, was all on point. And I loved that I could get white rice with it. (Believe me, ya need it to tamp down that heat, lol ). I had errands to run for hours and after not eating for 7 hr, 8 wings and rice kept me nice and satisfied for another 5 hr. In fact, I just had that, a banana, and some pistachios for my entire day, though I had worked out hard earlier on an empty stomach. So, definitely a perfect hunger buster amount. The only issue is I saw green onions on their pic for the salt & pepper & I thought Jay said there was jalapeños in it (that last part could have been a misunderstanding)? But there was only salt & pepper on them. I would DEFINITELY refer someone there. read more

Wings are ok - nothing special. The few times I've been they're always out of something (including the main sauces/seasoning), and yet a few other times have been randomly closed. Also $20 for 8 wings (no drink, no sides not even veggie sticks)? I'll pass. Way better options around here. read more

Super cool atmosphere! Family owned and operated. The owner is very cool and interactive. Waaaaaay better than those chain wing places around. Very reasonable pricing!!!! My daughters loved it we all got Buffalo flavored and I got an IPA with me meal. Very tasted and great service. I will be back. read more

OMG NEW FAVORITE WING SPOT. I got garlic parm and nashville wings through doordash. 1. The wings were still crispy when they got to my home. AND 2. THE FLAVOR. The flavor was sooo good on both wings. The only thing is the nashville wings come with sweet pickles that i did not care too much for. I would have taken a photo but i did not expect the wings to be SOOO GOOD! OH AND 3. The COLESLAW. Honestly these are the worst boneless wings I've ever had. After taking one bite all I could think of was how similar they were to frozen wings. I'm glad I came in on a day when they were only $.85. I ordered the honey butter flavor and they came dry I'm not even sure if they gave me the correct flavor . Won't be back . Don't waste your money . read more

Wanted to eat some wings and try a place we have not tried before. The Monster Wings came across my search and said why not. Glad we did food was good. Went with my wife and dined in and took some food to go home for the kids. Here is what we ordered, 2 chicken sandwiches 1 was the Nashville which was great and 1 was just the regular/original which was good as well. Only thing I would say about them is they tended to fall apart when biting into them, I think would be better if they were a chicken patty versus chicken tenders they were good none the less. We ordered some regular fries, some wings both boneless and with bone in flavors were original Buffalo, salt and pepper, Parmesan cheese all good. Also ordered some lumpia which were nice and crispy and some beignets strawberry ones and were delicious. Had some nice ipas as well, have a nice beer selection which was awesome. Ambiance was nice not too big and or small seating outside and a bar inside with the mentioned nice beer selection. Wait was not too long and service was nice. Would defiantly go here again and have some more. read more

Foods pretty bad and was not top tier quality. This place needs improvement and maybe quality control. I ordered the 8 piece wings and fries combo but was not satisfied. I miss the old place they took over which was fire wings but its ok because firewings is opening back up here in Pittsburg. Also, the waitresses informed us that the fries ran out and asked if we wanted potato chips instead. Big YUCK !! soggy and chewy not the best. Maybe because they are late night they wanted to give us the chopped liver. read more

I noticed a sign upon ordering stating that the order will be refunded with the complete order returned. I found it strange, but me and ny son ordered. I had never been here before, and the order was wrong, but since I never ordered here, I accepted what was provided. The server comes takes my food said you ordered bone in "comes back with a whole different order and the next customer experience was the same. Not a place I would recommend if the notice was there for this type of sevice to be acceptable and it is not the staff was nice. read more

The driver called me ahead of time, brought everything in, and set it all up. He opened the trays with gloves, added sauces, arranged everything nicely, and even put out utensils and labels. ..so my friend and i was on Salvio Street leading to the park. Further down was Von's and was my first chicken joint in Concord ( and I believe it's also korean)...so 2 days ago we went to the same street and saw 2 chicken joints, Fresh Tray and in front of it is Monster Wings. so we ended up choosing Monster Wings as it has a bigger patio....walk up the counter and was greeted nicely by the girl in cash registers. I ask her what's good as I just found out they are new in town, just like I am. I was disappointed as she has no clue what is actually good. Understandable as it is new. To be safe we ordered Salt and Pepper, garlic parm, buffalo...we did try the monster. I must say it needs a lot of improvement! salt and pepper ...too salty. The Monster was not even closed to spicy...I guessed they are new. We did order other items...just to try. the waffles was to plain. It taste like the ones you buy from grocery store. Ambiance was ok...but just like Buffalo wild wings...to many TV for such a small space. I would love to to give it better stars..but they need to improved a lot more. Sooo I HAVE to leave another amazing review because I have been coming for months now ever since I found out about them when they first opened! The wings are always served hot and saucy, the staff are always so nice and patient in recommending combinations(you never see restaurant employees actually like the food they serve nowadays but the employees here actually get excited to tell you their favorites!), and the ambience of the restaurant itself is above and beyond. I am not gonna lie at first I came by myself but every single time now I always bring someone new to urge them to try as well! And they are always left impressed! The good thing is wings aren't the only things they have, all the people in front of me in line were all ordering the Lumpia and with them being excited over them (sounds like they always order them) i just had to get some for myself! SO GOOD no wonder everyone was raving about it! They also mentioned that its an original recipe made fresh in their kitchen. I recently tried Monster Wings and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. First off, the prices were way too high for what they offered. I ordered their Nashville tenders, hoping for a flavorful experience, but they turned out to be disgustingly spicy to the point where it was overwhelming and not enjoyable at all. The fries that came with it were disappointingly dry, lacking any crispness or flavor. To add to the disappointment, the ranch sauce provided was incredibly watery, which ruined any chance of salvaging the meal. I ordered their 12pc bone in combo(I was really hungry) of thai chili, zilla, and buffalo with plain fries and belgian waffle(?). I'm not gonna lie those flavors were really good and unique too! And that waffle was a nice touch. It was equally watery, and she said it lacked flavor and seasoning. I wanted to see the various sizes, (sm, med, lg), and the person behind the counter had to go to the storeroom to retrieve med and lg since they didn't even keep any behind the counter. I bought medium sized cups, but they didn't have the correct lids to fit them. What they had was lids that were a millimeter or two larger than the lip of the cup. So while it looked like they fit, they would fall off when one picked up the container. One would think that if your primary business was selling cups of soup, at a minimum you would have the sizes at the counter, and especially the correct size lids for the containers. Luckily, the containers of soup were placed in plastic bags first, so I tied a knot in the bag as close to the container as possible to hold the lid on. When it inevitably leaked from the ill fitting lid, it was contained in the bottom of the bag, rather than making a mess in my car. On a positive note, I bought the vegetable soup. Only issue was a lack of salt/pepper, but that was easily corrected.
