Not as cheap as people think, but maintenance service and replacement of worn parts on your motorcycle is also not to bad. Stay on top of your maintenance. People may not realize what a delicate instrument a motorcycle is, and mine is 10 years old! Call around and you will see that Ted's prices are competitive and he is passionate about bikes and fixing them correctly. He has my business from now on. More parts to come. 4/6/19 Just picked up my bike from Ted. I had valve adjustment done, new intake gaskets, and front fork rebuild (probably from wheelies). The problem is that you can't really see any of that. So I also opted to get LED lights installed. You know, for visibility at night (riiight...). As always, Ted does amazing work and my bike (I wanna say purrs like a kitten...but) ROARS like a lion!!! Yes, fixing a bike is expensive and if you can't afford quality work, perhaps you don't make enough to be a bike owner (or do your own wrench work). Ted is the man. Thanks again Ted!

He took my tires off, removed my front forks and then took the parts to the powder coater for me. My bike was stored there for the 3 weeks while we waited for the powder coating to be completed. He then picked up my rims and forks when they were ready, and coordinated with the guy to ceramic coat the parts before putting the bike all back together. Eric did a fantastic job and went over and above to make things happen. He was very reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed working with Eric at Sycho Motorsports.

No appointment needed for safety check or was not rudely turned away from auto mechanic shops when it gets too busy despite making calls and waiting/confirmation before coming over. Was impressed with the service so I came back again. On my recent return, i noticed the hours changed. I miss this place having to be opened until 4:00ish since my last safety check. Still do not need to get out of the car but just need to get your required documents ready as well as the mileage since they will ask from you verbally and check your odometer. Need to follow the staff instructions as asked and they do check window tint. They usually take out the old safety stick and place new one on your bumper but this time, the staff just placed it over my old which I didn't like. I tried asking but no time so maybe next time... This place can get busy since I had to park on the side and wait in line queue outside and reversing back into traffic on queen street can be intimidating at times when it is busy after all is done. $27 safety check fee which includes tax (but add $3 more if paying by debit/credit card). Some stuff changed but still I would still consider this place again for safety check and for convenience.

Don't you love going to a stereotypical shop that has some sour attitude person that just makes you wonder "Why are they even here if they hate it so much?" Well, I sure don't! That's why I come here! I had the pleasure of meeting Rylan a few days ago, and I just had to write a review after speaking to him. He is an amazing owner that really just likes what he does, and is friendly while he does it. I've gone a total of about 4-5 times at this point, and every time they are spectacular. Fast, efficient, and fairly priced. Without going too nuts, they are the golden standard that all shops should hold themselves to. TL;DR: if you need something for your moped, come here. A week ago I had my oil changed, a belt replaced, a spark plug replaced, a brake adjustment, a worn inner rear fender installed (2screws) at a another shop for $251.40. My oil was not changed...it was brown & was used oil; and I lost 4mph to boot. My mistake was to go there. Yesterday I took my Soleil to Moped Shop because it just wasn't running right after the other shop touched it. 20mins later, it was fixed & I gained 5mph more. All for $15. Insane honesty! Don't settle for anything less than The Moped Shop. Whatever they say that they'll deliver, they do. Their honesty is definitely unprecedented. This is a real late post. A few weeks ago my mopeds belt broke, I walked in and the owner, who was busy working on someone else's moped, greater me and asked me what was wrong with my moped, I told him, my belt blew out, instead of having me comeback later, he took less then 10 min to assess the problem, and changed the the belt and also replaced the weights on the fly wheel. Not only did he service my moped right then and there, he didn't even charge me labor, just charged me for the parts. I recommend coming here if you want friendly service, and quality work done. There was a problem with my bike that I couldn't figure out so I had it serviced out in town at The Moped Shop. I dropped it off and the guy working there had me give him my number so that he could call me when it was finished. Said it shouldn't be long and that he will call later to let me know what's happenin. Got the call later saying my bike was ready to go and that I could pick it up the next morning. Not only did they fix the problem but they also went out of their way and touched up my brakes which I appreciated. Super friendly staff and fair prices. This the place to go read more

These guys are awesome. There's a sense of frankness that feels authentic. They can help or they can't-- straight to the point. I was finishing work by the airport and I felt a pop and my moped stopped working. I called the shop, they picked me and my moped up, and got me back to the shop. In a matter of minutes they changed my belt and a few other mechanical parts I'm not even gonna try to understand. I definitely recommend this place ! I had to get my brakes fixed, headlight replaced, and oil changed and they gave me a really good price. I didn't even know my oil needed changed yet so i'm glad they caught that. They even put my blinker back on for free :). My headlight went out a few weeks after because it was faulty so i came back and they replaced it free of charge. I also got my moped fixed within a day which was nice so i didn't have to worry about having no transportation. Everyone was super friendly as well! read more

This moped shop is the real deal. My moped got stolen, and luckily, I found it the next day with the help of some police work. My moped wouldn't start, so I had to push it to the shop, they had her up and running within about 30 mins. They told me that it wasn't that hard of a fix, so they didn't charge me at all! The technicians there know what they're doing, and they do it well. Whenever I have a problem with my moped, I'll bring it here. I suggest y'all do the same. read more

Best place to service your moped! Cheapest prices in town. From oil changes to full engine builds they can do it all. Oil change took only a couple minutes. This shop is excellent! They always help me out with my moped no matter what the problem - whether it's been stolen and returned, tampered with, or just needs an oil change. As someone newer to mopeds, I really appreciated that they offer a free lesson for beginners, and the option for a test drive if you want a little extra confidence. That balance of fun and safety really stood out. The entire staff was wonderful, Corey and everyone else were pleasant, helpful, and made the whole process feel relaxed and enjoyable. No pressure at all, just good vibes. It was also great to learn that they can service the moped in the future, which gives peace of mind beyond the initial purchase. Earlier this year, I purchased a first-release new model, and as expected with such a rare situation, a minor complication came up. The way the team handled everything was truly outstanding. They showed genuine aloha spirit throughout the entire process -- even making sure I had a rental option available while the minor fix was being taken care of. They were patient, supportive, and fully committed to making sure I was taken care of. Danny leads with honesty, Trinity was professional and kind, and the mechanics clearly take great pride in their work. Very knowledgeable about all the different mopeds and items in the shop. We didn't know anything about mopeds and he was able to educate us fully on everything we needed to know as a first time moped owner. We were able to purchase 1 moped (with an alarm system equipped), 1 helmet, safety inspection complete, registration complete (good for a year), phone mount, and a heavy duty bike lock. The total cost including those listed items + tax was about $1,800. If you are interested in purchasing a moped for the first time, I highly recommend you go to this shop. The pricing is fair and the person running the shop will have all the answers to any questions you might have. It's a one stop shop for everything and you will be able to ride that moped out the store after purchasing with them. BONUS: there's free parking located in the lot behind the building the shop is in.

A friend recommended the shop and I'm so glad I went. Gerard and Dalbert were the mechanics helping me and they were amazing. It ended up being a blown fuse, but they also fixed my blinkers, fuel gauge, checked my tire pressure, did an oil change, and gave it a full tune-up. Since I bought it from them, everything was covered under the 2-year warranty. They made everything easy to understand, answered all my questions, and even showed me things I never knew about my moped. Joe, the owner, is just as great. They're all hilarious, super helpful, and just fun to be around. Even with other customers coming in, they made sure I felt taken care of the whole time. Totally recommend them. They're the best people. Mahalo!

Just a friendly reminder if your registration is more than a year old you have to go to the Kapalama DMV and schedule a appointment the Hawaii Kai express does not do late registration more than a year. Everything went well. Will service my moped in the future hear.
