David began by helping me set fitness and health goals and after achieving those goals he encouraged me as I set new ones. I can not recommend David enough if you are looking for the best and most experienced trainer in Waco. He recently moved and started training out of The Lab. Their equipment is new, the facility is clean and well maintained and it is a perfect setup to work with your trainer without the usual distractions at most gyms(noise, overcrowding, smell).

Like I said, it's a smaller gym, so it doesn't have hundreds of machines, but it has all of the basics you need to get a really good workout in (squat rack, leg press, smith machine, nice dumbbells, cardio equipment, etc.). Gym is clean and everything is in good condition! I typically only have to share the gym with one or two other regulars + their trainer. Everyone is so nice, polite, friendly and accommodating; they are happy to share equipment and make sure they're not in your way or hindering your session at all! I love working out here and will be sad to leave. If I weren't moving, I'd train here forever.

After a few years my husband joined too bc I loved it so much and had really stuck to it. But it seems very corporate now and not really about the people working out any more. There were 2 locations we went to regularly. They dropped 1 and now at the 2nd location our trainer quit. We haven't heard anything about another leader coming or not. We have a group of very loyal, longtime members running it ourselves with virtual workouts which we could be paying much less if we just had virtual memberships). It doesn't seem like they care about retention of trainers or long term campers! And I guess they don't want to hear from us bc cannot get thru to anyone on their website chat or by phone. So disappointing!

The equipment is well maintained, and they are opting for a newer, more relaxing look and feel. WRS not only hosts several group classes, but they also have other businesses within the building which are very beneficial health-wise. The trainers are friendly and excellent as well as the staff who are very focused on you as a member.
