This is our favorite breakfast spot near our place. It is a farm to table cafe serving breakfast and lunch, and in the past they have done dinner service as well. Plus they also do catering. Now that they are open again, they have revised their menu with new items plus keeping the old favorites. In addition to the regular menu, they also offer weekly specials. And let's not forget that they offer vegan, gluten and dairy free options including desserts. I highly recommend this place to anyone local or visiting from out of town. What a wonderful cafe smack dab in an area that one would never guess to find such vegan, gluten free and health conscious dishes. Although I felt that everything was a bit under-seasoned, nothing a lil sea salt couldn't fix. I like big bold flavors and appreciated how all of the natural ingredients marry so well together to create tasty food that doesn't leave you feeling weighed down. As a bonus the chefs in the kitchen were singing to the music and quite well I might add! It's nice and refreshing to know that such care is being put into the selection of ingredients, how they are sourced and how thoughtfully prepared my meal was! Sing on I say! The ambience is fair, overhead lights in the back room were turned all the way up, should be on dimmers; acoustics were horrible, we had to shout at each other to be heard. We waited 45 minutes for our soup and salad. The French onion soup was fair, very light tasting, salad was very small, dressing was negligible. Half hour later we got our entrees, Caesar salad, crab cakes and Salmon. The risotto was cold, the salmon was good, the maple syrup over powered the salmon though, corn was good. Nothing special about the salad, the crab cakes were delicious. Overall, not impressed, we won't be back. Too bad, it had promise. Updated: the staff came and apologized for the delay in serving, stating everything is made from scratch we appreciated their efforts. Dessert was in the house! read more

Went for the first time about a month ago and the food was excellent!! We asked if we could sit at the outside tables with our dog and they were very accommodating. Our food that and every time since has been very fresh and of course delicious. We pulled off the highway for breakfast and had such a lovely meal on the front patio. Everything was home-made-fresh and delicious: from the berry smoothies to the very delicious egg options. Plenty of hearty, healthy choices and traditional options too. Coffee could have been stronger, but that's my only gripe. Everything else from the service to the meal was outstanding! This weekend my wife and I were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary while camping at Keen Lake. We are from Philadelphia so we were trying to explore the area for a place to eat. Yesterday we saw this place on Yelp and were deciding between a local brewery or this restaurant. I have been trying to lose weight and eat more healthy and convinced my wife to try here because the menu had so many fresh ingredients rather than gorge myself with fried foods at the brewery. Also the ratings were so high and Yelp never steers us wrong! We showed up on a Saturday night without thinking to make a reservation and they were fully booked, but they asked if we wanted to sit at the counter so we decided to stay. They happily made us a table setting and put candles in front of us and seemed happy we stayed even though they were SLAMMED. (Always a good sign!) Jess and Ron sure run a tight ship. They were hustling and smiling and making conversation even though they were getting their butts kicked with tables and orders. The food was so good we came back the next morning for breakfast. Their coffee is SOOO good (called Black Brass I think) we might go and buy some today at the local store. We are definitely coming back just to try their lunch next time read more

Update: this wonderful menu, staff. Added back room. Great menu selection - one of the most unusual, off-beat menus of anywhere in the area. Also lots of Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian selections. We had breakfast and we shared the steel oatmeal with berries and brulee topping. YUM! I also had the day's special Apple French Toast bake (great comfort food) and my husband had french toast with strawberry and blueberry sauces. AND local maple syrup - which was a great surprise. Very nicely decorated inside. Even the sugar and stevia packs were organic. Everything about the menu was well thought out. We went tonight for the Valentines pre fixed dinner. We have been many times before and it continues to be outstanding. Tonight especially was amazing. From the vegan hearts of palm "mock "crab" cakes , perfect shrimp cocktail, the mawlkatawney and sweet potatoe and apple soup to the stuffed lobster entrees and desserts, every bite was heavenly! 5 stars isn't enough for this local gem .
