Tried the spam and the Da Bomb. Both were delish. Like most food trucks, be prepared to wait.

I love everything about this place. Nestled inside a town with more open area than actual restaurant, lays the Musubi Truck... A "food truck" that does Musubi in a bunch of different ways. We had just eaten breakfast, but we saw this close by and had to stop in. Who doesn't have space for Spam Musubi? We all bought 1 for to-go, and... "When in Rome..." kicked in and we got a deep fried Spam Musubi. This "ish" was great. The breading was so crispy and light it was just perfect. I would 10/10 order again. Guys working the joint were nice, and quick. Definitely stop in if you like musubi and you got the time to chill. Merch is a bit pricey, but you should definitely support their cause!

The truck is nestled behind a building but there is a big sign so easy to find. I tried the OG masubi and ahi masubi. The ahi is a generous portion and very tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are tables to enjoy your food after ordering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They staff is pleasant.

Oh my god this place is definitely all it is cracked up to be!! You have to get the OG and make sure to pop over the road to the brewery for a fresh beer to go with your food

Went on a Tuesday around 2:00pm. There was a short line, and the few tables there were taken. Waited about 5-10 minutes in line and then another 10 minutes for the food. My daughter and I both got their Hapa bowl as a salad and tofu musubi. Soooo good! The poke was so fresh and delicious, half local style and half spicy tuna - no chewy bits and did I say already- so fresh! The salad came with a yummy miso dressing. The tofu musubi was double-sized and had some lettuce, cilantro, and shredded carrot - reminded me of a banh mi sandwich in masubi form! My husband got the spam musubi and poke bowl (fresh tuna and white rice), and loved his order too! Shortly after we ordered, they stopped taking orders, apparently ran out of rice! It was so good we went back again the next day!

I am a big musubi person. While their og musubi is decent the big standout is their chicken katsu musubi. Soooo good. We went multiple times on our trip just for this. Definitely need to try their other speciality musubi's. Everything is made to order so expect a little wait, especially if they are busy. But so worth it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a casual food truck with picnic tables out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also a parking lot nearby. Definitely would check this place out.

I randomly spotted this place while driving and ended up stopping by on my way back because I was craving a musubi. It was decent, at the end of the day, it's Spam musubi, and there's only so much better (or worse) Spam and rice can get. Here's what I tried: The OG - A simple Spam musubi with warm, seasoned rice and Spam. It was good, but nothing too special. (4/5) Deep Fried Spam Musubi - This one was unique since I'd never had a fried musubi before. It was cut into four pieces and sauced up. Overall, it was tasty but a bit heavy. Still worth trying. (4/5) Overall, it's solid musubi, good for what it is, but nothing I'd go crazy over. Parking: Shared lot in the back.

Beautifully balanced musubi and fresh well spiced poke. This place is a must visit if you are in the area. The musubi is reasonably priced and packed with flavor. I really enjoyed the richness of the deep fried musubi but when I return I'll probably stick to the elegant simplicity of the OG. Service was quick even during what appeared to be pretty busy hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is outdoors picnic tables and it made for a lovely family dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Who wouldn't try spam musubi in the place it was created? The Musubi Truck was nearby after my friends and I finished our hike. My boyfriend was pretty hungry so we did order a bunch for us to try. The lady who took our order was extremely and patient while we were looking at the menu. We got the deep fried spam musubi, truffle tots, and hapa poke bowl. It was definitely plenty of food for us. It was the first time I tried fried spam musubi and it was nice to have the fried outer shell paired with the soft rice. I liked how it wasn't just salty! The poke bowl was fresh and really enjoyed having the best of both worlds with local style and spicy mayo. My favorite out of the bunch was the truffle tots. They were crispy and light and had great truffle flavor. You could taste the garlic and the sweet soy added a great contrast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and enjoy the outdoor seating with good food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Musubi Truck was amazing and everything tasted so fresh. The tuna was some of the freshest I've had, the tater tots were perfectly crispy, and the fried Spam musubi was insanely good. Such a simple but satisfying meal, and definitely worth stopping by. I'd come back just for the poke alone it was so buttery and fresh. The service was excellent the cashier was very kind and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was amazing you get your plate and eat it anywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I used to think SPAM was gross until I went to Hawaii and fell in love with SPAM Musubi. Now, as soon as I get off the plane, I stop at a 7-Eleven on the way to the hotel to grab some. The SPAM Musubi Truck is parked in Old Koloa, with plenty of parking and a few tables out front. We stopped on the way to the airport to grab a few for our flight home. The people were friendly, and we ordered four of the OGs. We planned to eat them on the flight -- but they didn't make it that far. They were gone before we even boarded. I should've ordered more!

As the name might suggest, musubi should be their bread and butter, right? I ordered couple of the original spam musubi with pretty high expectations but they were just ok. No wow factor but did its job.

Felt like we needed to try this truck based on a recommendation. It was a little hard to find, but once we did, I was glad to see they had picnic tables and shade trees. Food was good, but there were lots of places that were just as good, if not better, so I couldn't give it more than 4 stars.

The star of the place is definitely Smash Cafe. I order the OG "Original" SMASH BURGER. There are tables and chairs that are set in the shade as well as friendly chickens to keep you company. Even though it was a food truck they still brought the food to and it was a 10-15 min wait MAX. This has to be the best burger I have had EVER!!! It was so fresh I had to wait a bit for it to cool off. The patties were juicy and crispy along the edges, the truffle aioli worked so well with the cheese and beef flavors. The fries were cooked to perfection as well. I strongly suggest you ask for some extra aioli on the side to dip the fries in. They have other menu items as well like crispy chicken, veggie burgers, and they even have a vegan Beyond Burger. I strongly suggest you give them a try you will not be disappointed.

The burger and fries were freshly made and tasted yummy. There were also some soft drinks available at the store for purchase. The only thing was there were so many chickens wandering around the tables and that is common in Kauai.
