    OG Masubi

This food truck serves the best spam masubi!! We ordered 1 OG masubi for $3. We also got a meal add on for $7 which came with a Hawaiian Sun and tater tots. The chicken katsu masubi was a little more pricey at $16 but it was big and came with two pieces. I also appreciate how they gave plenty of katsu sauce. This was the perfect meal after a long hike. We took it back to our hotel room to eat in the sunshine. It was convenient to order ahead online and pick it up.

This is a great stop for lunch, loved the Tuna Musubi, Spam Musubi and tots! The portion is great, one roll is good for one person. For the Tuna one role will feed two! They also have fun merch. The seating is really cute, and the service is great too, will visit again!

The food was so good we wanted to order more to take to the beach the next day but they were already closing up. They should open up a second location in princeville.

Love this! We are from the mainland ( southern CA) and search for fresh poke. The chains just don't cut it. We were so excited to get fresh fish in Kauai. This place delivered. Yes, it is a food truck. Plan ahead. Yes, you have to wait. Plan ahead. Yes, there are limited tables. Have a back up plan. Get it and thank me later.

Perfect place for a snack before heading up north to Princeville . The outdoor location and space is perfect for this food truck . I have tried the usual spam musubi so I was ready to try the new takes , ahi katsu was perfectly flavorful and fresh definitely one to eat fresh and not let sit because that ahi katsu gets soggy . The da bomb music had great flavor it was like a Korean bbq musubi I wish it came with some fresh kimchi would be a great side . The spicy mayo was a nice touch but for me didn't need it . Definitely shareable items as it came in two thick pieces .

I wish I could give this 100 stars. As many times as I've been to Kauai and as many times as I've had poke, this was by far the BEST poke i've ever had. My auntie met us at the airport with fried musubi, the OG musubi and the spicy poke and they were so nice to separate the rice and the poke so I wouldn't cook the fish while she waited for us at the airport. That was so good and we went back two more times the fish was like butter. It melted in your mouth. I have the hapa style too. And we had the Lilikoi slush float with li hing powder. The service was great. I complimented them when I finished eating and they told us that it's because they don't make it early. They make everything right to order so it's not sitting in the sauce. Super kind people. cute little spot lots of seating and misters for when it's so hot. And they even have a little souvenir section for your merch. I will be dreaming about this place until I go back again.

Spicy Poke - a bit heavy on the mayo but chunks of poke were a good size and the portion of poke was good too (not skimpy)

The food here is deceptively filling! We ordered the Deep Fried OG, Ahi Katsu, Local Style Poke, Spicy Poke, slushee (flavor of the day was dragonfruit). The cuts on the poke were a good size - not too small, and big enough to make it feel like you're chewing into something. The pokes come out in a small square take out container, but the portions of poke was nice and not skimpy. Local style poke was a bit salty for my daughter but she still gave it 4.5 stars out of 5. I felt there was a bit too much mayo on the Spicy poke - probably what helped contribute to the full feeling. Ahi Katsu was a good size too - the size of what I imagine a sushi burrito should be. (I had Kenji Burger earlier today and their Sushi Burrito - which I realized was renamed to Sushi Roll - was unexpectedly small.) Deep Fried OG was pretty filling for my son too. Dragonfruit slushee - I thought the flavor syrup they used was way too sweet. Service was good. Not too long of a wait for a food truck. Our phones had no internet connection in the area so we couldn't use Apple Pay and ended up using a credit card. The area right where you order at the food truck smells a bit like sewage, but once you step away from there, it's fine. There were also lot of flies just all over and we had to keep swatting them away while we ate at the picnic tables. Chickens and birds that walk around the tables can get a bit aggressive.

This food truck was delish! Small plates but packs a lot of flavor! The service was fairly quick. There was no line when we got there, and we had our food in about 10mins after ordering. It came out nice and fresh. The truck offers a few wooden tables with some shade to protect you from that hot Hawaiian sun. The ground is mainly just dirt and pebbles with the occasional Hawaiian chicken looking for food. Overall, a great little food place!

I love musubi, so I knew I wanted to get some for snacking on my recent Kauai trip. I stopped by Musubi Truck in Kapa'a Saturday morning right after they opened. Their set up is pretty nice, you order at the counter of the food truck and then eat in the patio. We were the first ones there, but soon afterwards a couple parties arrived, so seems to be a pretty popular spot. I got two musubi to go - the OG spam musubi ($3) and the chicken katsu ($15). I was pretty shocked at the prices for their larger musubi, which range from $15-16. I had the spam musubi right after getting it because I wanted to eat it fresh. It was pretty standard for spam musubi. The chicken katsu musubi was okay, but I just personally didn't think it was worth the price. Also, it didn't have enough chicken imo.

Fried musibi was out of this world amazing. The regular Musubi was good but definitely could have used a bit more sauce but that's an easy fix.

We kept seeing this spot pop up everywhere as a "must visit" in Kauai, and wow, they were right! We sampled a few musubi: the original (not pictured), the deep fried, and the Kalbi. The deep fried one was fun and indulgent, but a little on the rich side for us with all the mayo. The original was simple perfection: fresh, warm, and exactly what you want in a classic. Although it's hard to go wrong with a classic. But the true star of the show? The Kalbi Musubi. Absolute perfection! The sweet and savory beef paired with the bright, pickled veggies was chef's kiss! Every bite felt perfectly balanced and a little bit addictive. Whether you're grabbing one on the go or lingering to savor it, this place is 100% worth the stop. We're already dreaming about coming back!

This was my first time having Musubi, and my friends told me this was the place to go. It did not disappoint. It's a cute food truck with a pretty and large outdoor eating area. Server was friendly and helpful and food came out quickly. We shared the deep fried spam musubi, the ahi katsu large musubi, and the tater tots. The deep fried spam musubi was delicious. I loved the texture. It's definitely an indulgence. The tater tots were okay, but for $11 dollars I'd say skip them and get another Musubi. The Ahi Katsu was my favorite. Big piece of crispy Ahi with a rare center. Great proportions and a smack of flavor from the kabayaki. I'd come back for it again and again.

My niece bought a Musubi from the Musubi Truck. It was incredible, tasty, hot, and the staff was incredible. If you are on Kauai and in Old Koloa town, stop by and try anything they have.

There are no blinking lights or frills, just a blue menu taped to the truck and an open window. There was no line when I arrived. The gentleman who helped me was pleasant and helpful. I ordered the fish and chips, an extra tartar sauce, a can of passion orange juice and a side of the homemade habanero sauce. By the time I was done ordering and paying, an impressive line of tourists had formed behind me. I made use of the hand sanitizer and went to sit and wait. There are picnic benches across from the truck with ample seating. The area is kept clean. The sun was shining bright and a the breeze from the ocean was extremely relaxing. My food took about 10 minutes, he walked the food out personally instead of screaming from the window which I appreciated. I took the food and drink back to my car so I could listen to my book while I ate my lunch. The plate contained 5 battered and fried pieces of fish (mahi?) Andy who they were seasoned, crispy and golden brown, served over a large portion of crisp French fries. 2 tartar sauces, a ketchup and the anticipated habanero hot sauce. The fish was moist and flaky on the inside and tasted fresh. Absolutely delicious. The hot sauce.... The homemade habanero sauce should be bottled and sold. It starts off mild to allow your food to shine on its own then creeps in with the perfect amount of heat. Paired with the tartar sauce or ketchup (I alternated every bite) changed the profile in a way that no hot sauce I've ever eaten has allowed. There was no cloying aftertaste, no overpowering vinegar scent, the heat was not intense, but it was there in the background complimenting everything it touched. I am in Kauai several times a month and will definitely keep Tony's Catch in the rotation.

Plenty of tables with umbrellas are available. The food truck is right next to the beach. There are other food trucks nearby, but this was the one that was the most popular. The service was great - friendly and fast!
