My initial experience with Vinci was positive a couple of years ago but I typically visit a nail place closer to home. However, my daughter really wanted acrylics for the start of school and we were able to get a dual same day appointment. My experience was ok, but rushed, and my pedicure was streaky (needed another coat for sure). When I went to check the length of the acrylics for my daughter, the tech left them waaaayyyy too long despite my request prior to the service. When I questioned it, she got an attitude like she was going to fight me on the street and started yelling that my daughter had requested it and that it would be a $20 charge to cut them down at the end of it all, she did a terrible job and overcharged me on top of it. No appointment, just a walk in. I was greeted promptly. I had no more than checked in and was guided to a set for my SNS nails. After which, guided to a pedicure chair. I think she did an amazing job. After, I requested an eyebrow wax. I had to wait for that. She did an ok job, but I was surprised she didn't do a follow-up with tweezers. I've had my brows waxed before and there was always the tweezer follow-up for stragglers. Had to fo that when I got home. All in all good experience. However, pricey. So these folks do a really great job, but I have absolutely no idea how much anything cost any given time. It was $80 for a full set and then $66 for a fill. That seems high to me, my other salon that I have visited is $55 for a full $45 for a fill. I would be a regular if it were not quite so expensive or maybe there was a better discount program. After going to Vinci Nail Spa in Greensboro, NC, and getting royal treatment, I may find it hard to go anywhere else. The location has plenty of parking, is accessible, and is very clean. When you walk in, you can sign in to their customer tracking system with your phone number and wait to be called. This is an enormous spa with plenty of employees. It only took about five minutes before I was called to my chair. I loved that it was quiet despite being a Friday afternoon and having a customer in almost every chair. Hannah managed clients and staff like a well-oiled machine; everyone seemed friendly and professional. My nail tech was Lily, and she was simply amazing! In her capable hands, my toes were restored to the delicious works of art that they are. Several services are offered, including waxing, eyelash extensions, and color and style options for your hands and feet. The prices are reasonable; they even provide complimentary beverages and an ATM for customer convenience. In addition to my excellent pedicure from Lily, the massage chair was one of the best parts for me. Let me tell you something...it is the best chair I have sat in--EVER! I felt like I was getting a full-body massage. I'm returning because of Lily's outstanding service and that awesome massage chair. LOL. One thing to note: tips must be made via cash, Venmo, or CashApp. Tips cannot be added to your payment via credit card. I view this management decision as unfortunate since I'm sure it causes the employees to miss out on their tips when customers don't have cash and aren't willing to use the other options. HORRIBLE Experience. It was the gaslighting, the repeated disrespect, it was the racism and the robbery. The older tech in the front row with polka dow blouse and black pants was upset after I had to ask her multiple times to stop because her work was not turning out as I requested. The manager pictured to the left in the light pink shirt was vehemently mean, threatened to call the police on me when I tried to explain to him my experience which clearly didn't matter. Most painful manicure - the tech cut me at least 3 times with the nail clipper and did not have a steady hand on the electric filing tool because she dropped it twice, jabbing the sides of my fingers. I also left with dried polish on my hands that she refused to remove and told me it would come off later when I washed my hands. That's not how I want to leave the nail salon - I paid $183 and this work doesn't reflect the price. The worst of it all is zero accountability or apology and instead eye rolls when I pointed out the manicure was painful. Personally had a wonderful experience here for a pedi and set of dip nails. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and the whole vibe is just relaxed. I will go back. My toes NS nails looked fabulous and the nail lady did my nails while I was getting my pedi (she asked and I didn't mind because I was being chatty Kathy anyway lol) and even doing them standing up at my seat she did an amazing job. I love simple French manicured nails and she did them perfectly for my tiny hands and nail beds! If they dimmed the lights a bit in the edifice area that would be perfection. read more

This was first visit to Vinci Nail Spa and I had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The salon is beautiful and is the perfect place to relax and get pampered. I decided on the Vinci Pedicure which includes crystal jelly, a scrub, hot towel wrap on your legs, paraffin wax and a hot stone massage. It was so relaxing and was one of the best that I have ever had. The nail tech did a great job and the entire time I was able to enjoy the massage chair which is always a plus. While my polish was drying on my toes she helped me over to a manicure station which was equally as nice. The salon also offers a reward system for their clients which is much appreciated. I would highly recommend Vinci Nail Spa and I will certainly be going back. COVID precautions - The salon does take temperatures at the front desk, requires clients and employees to wear masks and has sanitizer throughout. I had a lovely time at this nail spa and will definitely be back. It feels fancy and beautiful inside. The safety measures and precautions were refreshing- they have you wash your hands upon entering in a lovely bowl sink with little nail scrubbers for use (one per customer) The upgraded massage and services are definitely worth it. My wait time was a little extra due to some unexpected traffic they had- but they made sure I was well taken care of during my wait time serving me drinks and checking in every couple minutes to see what I needed. The massage chairs were a bit tricky to figure out- you have to have it on to recline the chair at all- but if you cycle through the modes you can find a setting that has massage function off. I had just had back surgery so I couldn't keep that part on but still wanted to recline. Very comfortable chairs! My lady did a beautiful job on my pedicure. One issue I had was that she did the wax and the hot stones massage at the same time to save herself some time- but that meant I couldn't get my feet hot stone massaged as they were still wrapped in wax. I'll request they be done separately next time. Everything felt amazing and relaxing and the drinks were good. I would appreciate a better wine selection. I also wish a little more attention was given after the pedicure is over- I couldn't put on my shoes myself (surgery issues) and they left me hanging for quite a while- not telling you when your good to go on dry time and such. Had to have my husband come in and help me finish up that part. The lady was also confused when I requested she pick a color for me I just didn't want to choose but ended up having to because she didn't understand. But I'll be back! This is the 6th salon in Greensboro I've tried now and I am still unsatisfied. The experience started off great with fast, easy check-in, zero wait, beautiful interior space. The selection of pedicures was average. I chose the Vinci pedicure in rose which included wax, hot stones and massage. The pedicure was subpar. The massage was so quick I was really disappointed. Then on to my sns French manicure. The nail tech failed to listen to my instructions to keep the length of my original nails and clipped them off on one hand before I could ask her what she was doing. So then had to add back on tips for length, charging me in the end even for the addition of tips. The French manicure was not even well executed. Very disappointing. I would say if you are going for simplicity and one color nails and toes, they should be able to accommodate. I'm still on the hunt for a good nail salon in Greensboro! read more

Came here due to a recommendation from Next Door. I walked in and showed the manager that I needed to get the acrylic off my nails, and the design I wanted to replace it with. He said it wouldn't be a problem and I just had to wait 30 min for one of the nail artist to finish up. I don't think I waited more than 10 minutes. I was sat down with Nu. She was absolutely amazing. I told her I was nervous because my nails bed and hands were very sensitive and that the drill scares me cause of how often I get hurt with them. She stopped what she was doing with the super scary drill tip and downgraded it to a less scary drill tip and then proceeded to make sure I was ok and comfortable. The care she took with me being so nervous, will keep me coming back. I really felt like she actually cared about my visit. The design I picked out, turned out so pretty! I loved the way she shaped and filed my nails. The design was perfect. I loved everything about this visit. I tipped pretty big to show my appreciation for her care she showed me. read more

Relaxing pedicure was exactly what i was looking for and thats what i got. 3pm on Friday afternoon and there were only five other clients. The music was something light and jazzy but not weird. It was relatively quiet and with the partition and masks it didnt lend itself to chitchat. NU did an excellent job and gave me a comfortable pedicure. I went with the Natural and most basic for $32.00. I did miss not getting the parafin wax dip but maybe next time. It was a pleasant experience and Petsense is next door so i stopped in there for a couple items and checked another item off the to do list. Came here for a gel pedicure and the experience was very nice. It's a beautiful and spacious nail spa about 5 minutes from the Grandover Resort where we were staying for the weekend. Check-in is done on a self-serve kiosk. We picked out our polish and waited just about 5 minutes for our pedi chairs to be readied. We were offered our choice of water, soda, juice, wine, or mimosa. I want to love this place. I've been going there about a year or so. Typically they do a decent job. I get acrylics typically with gel polish. Got them done about a week ago. One snapped right off the next day. Got it fixed two days later. Snapped off again... went back and got it fixed and same one snapped off again. For me, that's it and I'll find somewhere else. The pedicure was fine until the lady decided to take off entirely too much skin on my big toe to the point where it is now sore. I let it go thinking it was temporary and allowed her to do my full set. I should've known better. I asked for a simple square shape with rounded corners. It is so sloppy and uneven. Some nails are on crooked, she used entirely too much acrylic, the nails are too thick. One of my nails is cut uneven and another was filed uneven...I could go on and on. I came here on 12/20/20 with my bf and another couple. When you walk in, it looks like a celebrity spa. It's amazing. It's clean and very elegant. There are two huge chandeliers that are beautiful! The salon is well organized and simply amazing. 10/10 for appearance. We came at 1:30pm, no appointment. My friend and her bf had been here before and said it's normally not busy at all. Nonetheless, we were told they were busy and that we could come back later either 4:30pm or 5pm. We chose 5pm. They wrote our name down and what we were getting, pedicures and a 3/4 of us manicures. We came at 4:30pm and they were not prepared for us. It looked a little busy too. They started setting things up and stuff. We had to wait a few minutes, maybe 6 mins, + or - 2 mins. Thankfully, they let us all sit side by side. They do have barriers for safety measures and for single customers, every other chair is not used. The 4 of us started getting our pedicures at completely different times. My bf got his down first. He got the soothing nu skin pedicure. He told me that he felt that it was rushed, but it was good. Kelly did his service. She did not ask him if he wanted a polish on his nails, and he wanted clear. Now, he is going to do it himself ‍. He also got a gel manicure. He had no complaints. I got the classic nu skin pedicure. Overall, it was good. My legs and feet feel refreshed and good. I hadn't had a pedicure in a few months but pre covid, I got mani/pedi regularly. Tammy did my services. My issue with my pedi is that I stated before I started that I wanted my nails cut low. It wasn't. My right big toe had lent or something in it under the nail. ‍ I asked her to cut it lower and she did but it still wasn't satisfactory. I just gave up and let it go. It's winter, so I'm not pressed. I normally cut my nails prior to getting them done for this reason. Even if there was an issue with cutting, it could've been filed down. In the pictures, you can see the nails and I don't want any nail showing, really. Im probably gonna end up cutting them like I want it. Part of the pedicure I got was sole solution foot treatment. The main reason I chose that type of pedicure if for the benefits. My heel area is cracked/dry and was hoping it'll help. But it still feels the same. Like, I use use my fingernail and scrape/pull the dead skin off... The massage chair is lovely. I got gel manicure and it was fine. No complaints rally. I must add my nails were already cut to my liking as I cut them a few days ago. Tammy wore gloves and I have mixed feelings. I get it, for safety reason, but It takes away from the skin to skin contact when doing nails, especially the lotion/massage part. None of the other people were wearing gloves while performing manicures. I was disappointed that they didn't offer any of us if we wanted a complimentary drink, that they have and advertise. Also, it was kinda awkward. There was no communication between Tammy and I. No small talk or anything. I normally go to another salon but they are closed Sundays. There, I'm use to it being super friendly and talking the whole time. Even when it was my very first time, we talked and got to know each other. That didn't happen here. My friends had Melinda and Jennifer doing their services. I heard Jennifer asking one of my friends if they wanted their nails shorter and if it was right, which had prompted me to ask Tammy to cut mine lower. Melinda and Jennifer seemed to perform services better than Tammy and Kelly. However, none of them asked us if we wanted a complimentary drink. Overall, I was a bit disappointed. They have plenty of options but they aren't necessarily on the modest side. I don't mind that if I'm getting good quality services. My friend (who I came with) had been here before and really hyped up this establishment. I just don't feel like this visit lived up to that standard. My friend I came here with our partners. My friend and I are social workers and I have a self care group. We talked to the manager, Randy, about setting up a group activity here for our co workers. So, I will be back. I was told that if I wrote a review I would receive 5% off my services. Pros: very clean, nice interior design, gives it a very luxurious vibe and first glass of wine is free. Cons: I wrote the review and my discount was never applied. I spend over $100 there but was rush towards the end. I paid a upgraded mani & pedi with gel and wanted to receive 2 wax services. While the pariffin wax was still on my hands I was rushed to the back to prepare for a wax technician who was eating lunch and not ready. I've never experienced washing the pariffin wax off in the sink, which clogged due to this. I told the guy upfront that I didn't like what was happening and he said "ok" and proceed to the white lady he was servicing. Jennie was nice but I told her that this was not acceptable to do, don't rush my services. Finish my hands/mani properly and then move me. Have had so many issues with this place. Called to get a nail fixed that they did 3 days ago... was told when I arrived that it was a $5 charge. At the front desk their policy is that it's a free fix unless it's past the 3rd day of original service. I just had them fix it anyway and just agree to pay the charge. She put the wrong color on and still was trying to make me pay when my nail she fixed clearly wasn't the same color, and tried to tell me it's the same color I told her it was. She wouldn't let me talk to a manager and was rude the entire time since I walked through the door. They just care about making an extra buck and not giving good customer service. read more
