Staff- Jenny is the head honcho and she is the sweetest! Actually, the whole staff is ripe with great personalities. The energy there is always upbeat and they are very welcoming and happy to see you. They don't rush and are detail oriented. Even when busy they set realistic expectations for time and juggle everyone flawlessly. They do great work so people are happy to wait. Price- Have yet to find a place that can beat the quality of work and cost. They are also very transparent with prices. Don't be afraid to ask! But many times they let you know up front. The building- Is in THE perfect location. Right off of Battleground, you can get a great cup of coffee, do yoga, grab a meal at Salvinos or a glass of wine at the Loaded Grape. I asked for a super simple manicure and it came out streaky and terribly done. I had to ask them to redo multiple nails multiple times and it just kept getting worse. I walked out unhappy for sure. I felt like they didn't care about my nails and I won't be coming back. However, I did like the overall vibe for be store. I decided to try a new nail salon this Sunday and came across Blush Nails and Spa Salon. Many places were not open on Sundays, but Blush was which was a big plus. It is a physically beautiful salon which lends itself to a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and took their time with my pedicure. They have brand new pedicure chairs that vibrate which is always a nice treat. The owner checked on each customer to make sure they were comfortable and happy with their mani/pedi. He wanted to make sure you would want to come back and become a repeat customer. This is a very important aspect in owning a small business. I'll had a nice, relaxing afternoon at Blush Nail and came home with a beautiful pedicure. I highly recommend Blush Nail Salon. I typically don't mind driving for really good service, but on this particular day, I needed my nails done but didn't have time to drive across town. I did a Yelp search and found this beautiful salon with good reviews and I definitely wasn't disappointed. It's a clean facility with very professional staff. I appreciated that this place had a dedicated front desk person because there was definitely a better flow of business. When I go to a salon, the wine is nice, the massage chairs are nicer, but if the staff are running around, multitasking, that energy works against my ability to relax. I was very excited to try Blush after reading the Yelp reviews, but I'm sad to say I was fairly disappointed. My pedicure was average-- nothing to call home about, and I got SNS dip nails that were rushed and not cleaned up at the end of the service. As you can see in the picture, there's a lot of white polish still left on the corners of my nails. Also, the dip powder manicure didn't come with one bit of cuticle trimming or cleaning of the nails, she just put the polish on and sent me on my way. I'm not a big fan of having to fix my manicure at home after I pay $50 for a service, so I likely won't be back. read more

The young lady that did my pedicure was good and I have been a customer for 10 years since they opened and have seen many owners come and go. However, in the last year or so the salon has gone down hill drastically! It used to be beautiful it now worn down, and looks like they just shove as much in there and don't care about the floors or appearance anymore. I go religiously every 4-5 weeks for a pedicure and every single time have them cut the sides of my nails due to wearing compressions socks for work 12 hours a day but this visit they charged me an extra $8 for "in grown removal" and said they have always done that, which is BS!! So, I'm sitting here now and I'm with Alex; I've noticed that no gloves are being used by the nail technician. Also, the "Grater" that I'm pretty sure is not recommended any longer was used on my feet. The nail technician initially appeared friendly enough, but when asking for things, because I want what I want and I'm paying for the services, he rolled his eyes. Super unprofessional. I'm going to remain here to get services done, but this will be my first and last visit. The salon is in a great location and appears esthetically pleasing with the chandeliers and salon chairs, but the lack of professionalism is a definitely just not present. I unfortunately got a technician who must have been experiencing a bad day. She made me very uncomfortable. My chair was broken and didn't provide massage. She did not care. She was visibly tense and upset, didn't speak to me, and lashed out at me when she put my shoe on and messed up her polish job. I spoke with the receptionist who got the manager on the phone and he provided me a $10 discount. But even though he offered that token of his assistance, it's safe to say the experience left me feeling anything but relaxed or valued. I was prepared to get my nails and eyebrows done too but I just left. It didn't seem like anyone there wanted to be at work today. This spa truly has amazing customer service. The staff cares about the overall health of your nails. After the technician I had an ingrown nail, she told she did not know how to cut it. I asked if anyone knew, and she said they were not allowed to treat ingrown nails. First time going to Blush. Jenny greeted me right when I walked in and had no wait time as a last minute walk-in. Very clean, spacious, and inviting atmosphere. I got a gel acrylic refill done by Jenny. She is one of the best nail technicians I've seen. She worked very fast, greeted everyone who came in, answered phone calls, and attended to other guests, all while making sure I liked the length, shape, and color. She did not make me feel rushed at all, and attended to my needs first. For example, she'd check in and ask if I liked them and if I didn't, she offered to re-do them. She made the shape look more natural on me than from what I had before. Very nice and friendly, and held conversation. I don't have a before picture, but they were a very grown-out French tip gel acrylic nail. Jenny really managed time well- I was only there for about 40 minutes and they look amazing. If I could give ZERO stars I WOULD! IMPORTANT NOTE: THEY JUST GOT NEW OWNERS! TRASH!!! What a horrific experience I had today. I go in to get a full set SNS and my eyebrows waxed and tinted. The guy doing my nails was rushing the entire time and hurt my nail by sawing into it once the SNS was removed. I told him and he still kept applying so much pressure to my nails with the filer. To top it off the lady doing my eyebrows started waxing while I was in the chair getting my nails done! She tinted them first and then proceeded to wax and couldn't even see properly apparently because when it was all said and done my eyebrows aren't leveled out properly. They could tell I was upset because my frustration began to show through my body language. She took me to the chair to continue to shape up my eyebrows and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. I told her light brown and she put on DARK! Then said light brown is better for you I SAID I KNOW I SAID THAT! I also said high arches and she made them so thick ! She attempted to fix them while another lady and guy were watching her and actually LAUGHING! She actually waxed the lengths of my eyebrows off as well- one is shorter than the other one that fully wraps around my eye nicely. She waxed the other one right above the outer edge of my eye and tried to stain my skin to make it even which she admitted and it looks TERRIBLE!!! They don't look clean and freshly I will never go to this location again and highly advise anyone reading this does either. read more

I highly recommend this salon. ANDY does my mani/pedis but my husband sees others (whom ever is free) and has been very happy. We are picky and have searched around for a great pedi. The staff are friendly, very accommodating and just really do a great job. I've never had such a good pedi massage; ANDY is amazing. I've never opted for manicures because they just don't last for me. I'm too rough on them. However, I've had two now and my nails are just as nice as when I left (and I worked outside chopping wood and clearing brush all weekend!!). I opted for the gel coat. I have mixed feelings about Blush. The technician who did my pedicure did a great job - she took her time and really made my feet look and feel good. That is the good part. Here are the things that keep me from rating a 4 star. When I walked in there were 4 techs working on mani-pedis...I asked for a pedi and was told to take a seat in one of the pedi chairs. After my feet were immersed in water for about 10 minutes I realized there were no other people working ( thinking maybe someone was in back) and I sat for around 45 minutes waiting. If I would've been informed that the wait would be so long I would've had a different take on it - all the owner needed to do was say, "it'll be about 30-45 minutes" and I would have had the option to sit with my toes in the water or run next door for a coffee and come back. Yes, I could have asked to get up and leave once I was seated but you know once you're down and wet..... ALSO their page on YELP offers a 10% discount on their services but they would not honor it - saying they are under new ownership and they don't do discounts. My opinion on this is if a customer came to your establishment because of Yelp you honor the 10% discount that time and let them know it's not your policy but that of the previous owner. And get on Yelp and change it! I won't be back to this salon. It was clean enough but the cup holders and tray in my chair were not clean and that is a sign of negligence - nail salons need to be 100% perfectly spic and span. Sorry Blush..... read more

So this place is beautiful and incredibly clean. The pedicure I got was incredible and the employees were nice, but my nails were a different story. My polish is thick af and the polish was all on my skin and in between my nails. It looked like a kid painted my nails. I honestly may go to another salon to get them redone. Just very sloppy looking. Pedicures I recommend, but you may want to look elsewhere for nails. This was my first time here. I typically have my nails done every 2-3 weeks. I had such high hopes for this appointment. Unfortunately for spending 150.00 in this place to walk out with the grit showing in my nails is uncalled for.
