Steph truly nails (ha...) it every time!! I heard about Steph at The Nail Cove from a Yelp friend and I never went anywhere else after that. She's a one woman show and has one on one appointments at her cute ocean themed salon. I believe she's accepting new clients at the moment, which means the fight for the next appointment continues! I was very excited for my mani after following Stephanie's work on Instagram. She has her own studio in an office building. The Nail Cove is clean and decorated with some very cute decor and plants. Stephanie is an artist. It is immediatly evident that she enjoys and takes pride in her work, and the end results are amazing... she produced the kind of nail art that ends up on Instagram as "goals"! From a practical standpoint: expect to pay more for nail art here than your standard nail places. But it is well worth it... between her skills and comically large selection of polishes, it is well worth it. Also, keep in mind she runs this thing by herself! stumbled across Stephanie via a Groupon and I haven't looked back since. Stephanie is so friendly, willing to accommodate last minute appointments and group appointments back to back. What really won me over besides her personality was all her customization! She has a cabinet full of glitter, nail stamps, tons of different colors for gel nails, list goes on and on. I used to get my nails done on a regular basis and ended up stopping because I felt like it was just a waste of my money. My gel polish and acrylic would always chip within a few days. I decided to go see Stephanie for a special party I had coming up. She gave me a gel manicure and a regular polish pedicure. Stephanie took her time and my nails and toes ended up looking amazing. She took the time to clean up my cuticles and nail bed, something that most nail shops charge extra for these days, but most importantly she did not cut or nic me once or get me with her drill. I swear every time I have gotten my nails done in the past I have been hurt and bleeding every single time. It was nice to be able to enjoy my manicure and not worry about being hurt. Most importantly 2 Note it has been 5 weeks and I do not have one chip in my gel manicure! That in itself is worth the few extra bucks an extra 20 minutes of my time. Oh and her nails looked absolutely beautiful, something which you never see in most nail salons. Perhaps it is because she uses her tools correctly on you instead of using her own nails to complete the manicure. I would give her 10 Stars if I could go see her you won't regret it. read more
