The only good thing about the nail lounge was the sweet receptionist that answered the phone calls. I went to go do my nails for a refill with three missing nails. I got my nails done by Lien and when I asked her to shape my nails into more of a square shape she said she couldn't do it at all. I left the salon with unshaped nails and in just four days the three nails that were supposed to be new fell off instantly. When I called on Sunday, I tried to make an appointment for Monday to fix the nails and they said that they would most likely do it for free, but they said they were closed so it would have to be Tuesday. However, when I called to reschedule for Tuesday at a later time, I wanted to make sure that the nail should be free other than a tip. They then went to tell me and that since it was a refill, I couldn't get it for free even though I came to get those three nails redone not as a refill. They said they could only give me half off even though they're at fault for reinstalling the new nails badly. read more

REVISED REVIEW- Thanks Jay. Went back and had my nails fixed. Johana did a great job! Extremely disappointed. I called and explained that am looking for black nails with red tip like a french and my middle finger red with black tip. They assured me that they do plenty of nail art and that they could do this request. I showed up appointment time of 5pm. I asked again the nail technician she assured me yes she can do this design. However when she started to apply the red on top of the black she realized that's not going to work she tells me looks like this isn't going to work for you. Then she spoke to another technician who explained the method would work. Finally after an hour my pedicure was done. I asked several times are you sure you can do the same pattern in my gel manicure. Of course gel is different much easier to work with. After putting 3 coats and curing everyone of them she starts applying the red line again is not working by this time is 6:40... I was livid.. I left with an appointment today to drill the tip of my gel so they paint the line properly. Am not going to lie am terrified they will damage my nails. Am so torn between letting them fix it with possibility of damaging my nails or leaving them like they are over applied fat gel nails. This place is not staffed with nail technicians that are knowledgeable like before. Such a shame. What really bugs me is all the nail art they post no one in this place knows how to execute. read more

First, I love that they have nearly every new OPI color to choose from. The decor is minimal and they always keep the Bravo Channel on while you get your nails done. The prices are moderate and the service is good. You can even have a glass of wine while you get your nails done though I stick to the Starbucks Iced Tea I can get right next door. Always bring cash with you though as you cant tip via credit card. During the holidays they always sell the extra OPI nail polishes they bought for about 2 for $12 which is a great price. Never be afraid to ask them to shorten your nail or keep it long. You are the customer, state your request! read more

As an out of town guest, with promises to return to this area, as my daughter now lives in Weston. I was hopeful to make this a place to pamper myself. I scheduled a Saturday manicure with Francesca, she was kind and I could tell she was new i was all good with that. After a 2.5 hr regular polish manicure I was not to impressed with the outcome, but i settled with giving a new girl a break. After 3 hours of being home and allowing my nails to dry, my nail polish looked terrible had dents, ripples and chips. I went back to the salon the following morning and another tech took off the polish and confirmed the old polish was not completely off, the new polish was on too thick and offered new application. I did not have time for that and asked for a future credit since I would be returning to the area. She stated the owner would have to make that decision and she would have her contact me. I received no contact. Called 2 days later and was assured the same. Sill no contact 1 week later. I would not return or recommend this business to anyone that is looking for a positive experience. When a business is rude enough not to make contact for a resolution they obviously don't care about their customers. read more

Stopped by since I had a lil time on my lunch break, left with see through white bailes. Came back to get a polish job fixed, the tech told me it was my fault that my nails needed to be filed, I get pedicures done every two weeks and I've never had a problem with the color being completely opaque. Plus I did a whole pedicure with her so if she felt they needed to be filed she should have done so. Won't be coming here again where they blame their customers for their mistakes read more

I've come here twice to get a mani pedi and have had 2 different experiences. The first time I went, I did not have an appointment, but was taken quickly. I picked out my nail color and sat down with my nail tech. She was not very friendly and I had the impression that she did not want to do her job. She did not talk to me at all, just to ask me questions about how I wanted my nails. Then when I went to get my pedicure done all she did was soak my feet, shape my nails, and clean my cuticles. No massage, no scrub, NOTHING! When I was done she didn't even direct me to the seat at the bar to sit and dry my toes OR pick up my shoes so i wouldn't mess up my manicure. To top that off the very next day my manicure started to CHIP! I was so upset and did not ever want to come here again. However, I thought maybe I should try this place again, and my second experience was different. I made an appointment this time to make sure I was not stuck with a bad nail tech (i made that clear). I picked out my nail color and sat down with my nail tech and he began to work. I could already tell that he was much better than the first nail tech I had, and he also had a much friendlier attitude. The only bad part was that he was on his phone while he was doing my nails, and he sometimes he just stopped to write stuff down, but that only lasted for about 10 minutes. He did an excellent job on my mani. My pedicure was FANTASTIC! He shaped my nails, cleaned my cuticles, scrubbed my feat, gave me a massage, it was heaven! after he was done he PICKED UP MY SHOES and directed me to the bar so my nails could dry. 3 days later and my nails are still perfectly in tact. It's disappointing that I didn't catch my 2nd nail tech's name, because if I go back, I would definitely request him. read more

My nails came out beautiful, and better than I've ever seen them. Courteous. - Lots of quality/skilled/friendly technicians = usually not a long wait for walk-ins. ( I would make an appointment if you are short on time and need to be in/out, especially after 4pm or on a Saturday after 11am.) - The chicks who get those smelly, time consuming applications look very happy, so I guess they know what they are doing. - Wine and beer available. (I've never had the hankering for wine with my nail polish, but it's nice to know it's available - for about $6.50-$9 a glass). - Parties available- ask about using their space after 5pm. - They have a room in the back I've seen people get a quick girl- stash removal. - Flat screens all around to watch Bravo popcorn TV while your get buffed. They offer a spa pedicure which lasts forever - and goes all the way up your leg. So I have personally been coming to the Nail Lounge for four years, maybe even five. I love coming here. GRANTED I have had issues with a nail tech or another, but I do not believe it fair to judge a WHOLE establishment off of ONE person. At the Nail Lounge they are always welcoming and friendly. After coming for so long, I also now know who I like and trust to do anything with my nails versus a stranger. These individuals are Jay, Qui, Chin, and Chris. I think they could tell me to not do polish for a month and I would still listen. Personally I will continue to come to the Nail Lounge, and bring friends and family. My best friends, mother, and I go no where else. As for those I read have issues, did any of you think of informing them? The owners work there, and are not hesitant to help you out. FINALLY, I truly believe you need to come more then once before you write a review. Otherwise I do not think that is really fair. I swear, every time I come here something goes wrong. I keep coming back to give it another chance because my sister speaks so highly of them. Example: I went in today: I looked at the menu it said the gel manicure is $32. My other sister who is 12 got a regular manicure (which is usually $10). They we're going to charge me $50 at first until I said my sister was 12. Then she just took my credit card and charged it $45. I asked how she got that and she said the gel was $35 (because I used a name brand- but how was it supposed to know that!!!) and $10 for my sister. They do a great job when it comes to the manicure, but when it comes to charging your card and doing things hush hush is what I don't like at all. Not cool that there's no full disclosure. I went there to get acrylic set and a pedicure. My nail tech was Kassandra, I left very disappointed and dissatisfied with her work. My acrylic came out lumpy and very think. My two thumb nails were crooked and my pedicure was subpar. Staff was very unfriendly and didn't make me feel like I would want to come back. I was visiting family in Weston, and was in need of a manicure. I searched nails salons and found that this was just 4 minutes away. The salon is located inside the Weston Town Center. It has a different concept which I wasn't aware of. It is a nail salon and bar. But it just feels like nail salon. My manicurist Jenny did an amazing job. My nails look perfect!
