The reason I've continued coming back is because the actual pedicure is excellent. They do a thorough job trimming and shaping my nails, taking care of my cuticles, and even addressing an ingrown nail when needed. I've always been happy with that part of the service. I also don't mind the recent $5 price increase. I understand that costs are going up everywhere, and I'm happy to pay more for good service. Unfortunately, it feels like I'm getting less while paying more. The biggest issue is that the experience has become so rushed. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing, but from the moment you sit down, you're hurried through choosing a color, the service itself, paying, and leaving. It feels like the focus is on getting customers in and out as quickly as possible instead of providing a relaxing experience. I've also had problems with the finished result. On one visit, I left with bubbles in my nail polish. On another, they took my payment while I was sitting under the dryer, which is perfectly fine. But then they had me get up and walk to the front to enter my PIN while I was still wearing the toe separators. Not surprisingly, I ended up smudging my freshly painted nails. I was so frustrated that I left instead of asking them to fix it. I understand that salons are busy, but when prices increase, I expect the quality of the overall customer experience to stay the same--or improve. The quality of the pedicure itself is why I've remained a customer, but I really hope they'll slow things down a bit and bring back the relaxing experience that made me enjoy coming here in the first place.

That said, the regular polish quality is inconsistent and doesn't last as long as I'd expect. I recommend bringing your own polish if longevity is important to you. Before you leave, check that the nail edges have been filed smoothly and that any stray polish has been cleaned up around the nails. The shape of my nails are all different as well. I recommend you ask your technician to let each coat dry for a minute before applying the top coat. Even with time in the drying area, I often end up with smudges. My only real wish is for a more meticulous pedicure. After many years as a customer, I've had only a few that felt truly detailed and carefully finished.
