Their cute store front and a gingerbread macaroon

I'm rating this based on a gingerbread macaroon that I got. It was only $3.50 for a sizable macaroon and it was throughly yummy! I loved every bite of it. The decor is also very cute inside.

pastries were delish! alysha, the owner, was so sweet and made great conversation/recommendations since the group i was with are from out of town! we got the pistachio macaron, peaches and cream cupcake and *not pictured* chocolate chip cookie. so good and definitely recommend for a sweet treat!

Honestly...what I had wasn't all that great. Nothing to race about here. I got a lemon blueberry scone, chocolate chip cookie, and a black coffee. Coffee was fresh and extremely hot, cookie was very large, and the scone was a cross between dry and moist. I liked the flavor of the coffee, whatever blend they use its bold and strong. The size of their cookies is awesome and it was crunchier on the outside but the middle was nice and chewy. I'd have to say that the cross of dry and moist would have equate to almost a stale texture. Sadly it barely had flavor and even the glaze did not supplement for the lack of taste. We went around 10a on a Monday morning and so I didn't feel like getting macarons or their cheesecake (which look phenomenal). Only two people working, one multi-tasking both as a cashier/ baker and the other just a baker.

Absolutely fabulous! I needed a variety of cakes and desserts for my great-nieces graduation party and this bakery was amazing. I have probably tasted 200 carrot cakes in my lifetime and this by far exceeded anything I have ever had. Aleeshs' carrot cake is absolutely delicious. And everything was so beautifully decorated in Astoria high school colors. Her macaroons are always worth my drive from Gearhart! So delicious! I was the star of the graduation party.

I heard about this place before coming to Astoria and had to stop once I saw it in town! There's parallel parking in front of the bakery, really all down the street TNL is on & it's free! Me and my husband came late Thursday afternoon and we were the only ones in so plenty of time to be indecisive - Lemon and maple macaroons: delicious. This was my macaroon cherry popper and it didn't miss. Both were soft and easy to bite. The outer part and the filling had sooo much flavor, and it wasn't sweet which I loved. I would def. Pick the lemon over the maple but it was still delicious! - Lemon blueberry scone: The scone was good. It wasn't too dry and the texture was on point. The piece I had had a decent amount of blueberries. However, the icing was too sweet for me :( - Chocolate chip cookie: I put it in the microwave about 10 secs and it was *chefs kiss*. 10/10 easy. - Carrot cake: the cake itself was moist and had great flavor. The icing, I just could put my finger on it if it had lemon or lime in it? Just I wasn't a fan of the icing on the carrot cake. I 100% recommend stopping in if you're in Astoria!

We ordered a cake from this bakery for a birthday celebration & it was so yummy. We had the chocolate with vanilla frosting. It was so pretty & the perfect size. We'll definitely be back.

Went to the Naked Lemon this afternoon and purchased pumpkin cheesecake and pumpkin macaroons- was not disappointed! Fall is my favorite time of year and I love all things pumpkin & spice. Thanks for making our short trip the coast even more amazing with the perfect sweet treats!! We will be back!!

NEW LOCATION: 1423 Commercial Street (Yelp has the old address; unfortunately Yelp wouldn't take my update suggestion to list the new location- Google has it correct!) The owner was AMAZING and stayed open late on a Friday when I called and said my kiddos and I were trekking over from the old location Yelp directed us to. And SO SO happy she did! The macaroons were perfectly baked-not chewy and not dry, great flavor and HUGE! The cookies are also ginormous - the molasses gingerbread is an absolute must try.

Didn't get to try much, but the crispy, cinnamony palmier-like pastries they have are AMAZING. Can't wait to go back for more treats!

It was absolutely outstanding! Every ingredient felt incredibly fresh and vibrant. The rich flavors of the grilled tempeh and the perfect tang of the sauerkraut paired beautifully with the hearty, fresh-baked rye. The service was also wonderful and incredibly thoughtful--they noticed we were sharing and kindly split the sandwich into two separate plates for us before bringing it out, which we truly appreciated. The only downside was the iced tea, which unfortunately tasted quite watered down and lacked flavor. Aside from that, it's a fantastic spot. If you're exploring the historic streets of Astoria and looking for high-quality, conscious food, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Since we had just eaten breakfast elsewhere we did not purchase any but wanted to. They also had a small menu offering breakfast and lunch, including vegan offerings. The interior was cute and quaint with bar seating along the front window and tables with chairs throughout. The service we received was great, friendly, and expedient. I really wanted to love this coffee shop I even strayed from my go to. The shop is beautiful and in a great location. I loved the view, plants and vibrate colors. I had high hopes my latte was going to be outstanding. I did my research the owners have several years working as baristas at notable coffee shops in Oregon. They love coffee and love making coffee. I was really looking forward to a delicious latte with housemade caramel syrup. To my disappointment my latte was scalding hot guessing 160 degrees. You know it's this temp when you can't hold your paper cup comfortably without a sleeve. Also, heating to this temperature causes the proteins to break down, burns the lactose, turning natural sweetness into bitter, scalded flavors. Overheating also degrades micro-foam and numbs your tongue, masking the subtle tasting notes of the espresso. And sadly, it also diminished the Martha Stuart inspired housemade caramel syrup into nothing. Basically I got a scalded milk latte. I was charged 1.00 for caramel syrup that I didn't taste. When the latte finally cooled down I could taste the butter from the syrup but no hint of sweetness. FYI a housemade caramel syrup latte should only be heated to 140 degrees (googled it). So, go for the views, the pastries and perhaps a drip coffee. They have plenty of seating for groups of 2-4.
