Other film work includes Happy Feet (the killer whale sequence), Superman Returns (the ocean/water effects, Krypto/island effects, Marlo Brandon as Jor-El), Charlotte's Web (farm animal mouth replacement), Garfield 1 & 2, Babe (the pig), and most viewed in my opinion the Polar Bear Coca Cola commercials. They also do amusement park visual rides like the upcoming Ferrari Ride in Dubai. As of July 2007, R&H is working on The Golden Compass where we're doing most of the animals (aside for the armored bears), and Alvin and the Chipmunks where we're doing the 3 chipmunks. On the horizon is The Hulk 2, and Mummy 3 work which we are already signed for. I am scheduled to be here until Nov. 07. And am simply a contracted artist and by no means an expert on R&H. I gave it 5 stars because I am a current employee ;) However the work we put out is top notch, and well worth 4+ anyway.

Pirate used to be very good but the equipment is very worn out these days…read more I went for a drum session after a few years off the kit and the first studio I rented had a destroyed snare head. Their customer service (via WhatsApp) got me into another studio, upgraded size, free of charge. This one had clamps that wouldn't hold the toms, the screws were totally stripped out on the kick pedal and the whole kit would start falling apart midway through a song. They moved me to another room which was missing a bunch of equipment and had hi-hats for crash cymbals so I asked to be moved back to the previous. I was able to limp through on a few tracks but eventually the kick pedal wouldn't stay in place for longer than a verse or chorus and the rack toms were swinging around in their stripped clamps and the start/stop was making this really pointless. I asked for a 50% refund which I did NOT receive, they gave it back as credit towards next time. Here's the deal: I will be back because they're the best option nearby. Band rehearsal spaces are a tough business. The gear gets absolutely thrashed and maintenance takes both specialized knowledge, money, and care. It seems like their on-site manager either doesn't care, doesn't have the budget to fix things, or has no idea what they're doing. Pirate's the only option nearby that doesn't feel like I'm going to get robbed, stabbed, or tetanus. I'm going to start building up my own small gear to supplement what they can't seem to take care of (cymbals, snare, kick pedal) and hope the problems stop there.

The studio is beautiful, the sound is perfect and the production work Felicia does during the taping is the perfect touch to any project. A little time after the podcast, my dad and I wanted to do a father/son interview. He was stricken with terminal cancer and we wanted to preserve a legacy and story of our family. The interview was done professionally and Felicia sent me a link to easily download the video. I immediately watch it, downloaded it and knew we had done something important for our family. My father passed last year and when I went to watch our interview the link and file still worked (we're talking four years later). I forgot to download the video again and my previous computer died. I thought I had lost my memory of my father. I reached out to Felicia (almost 5 years after the interview) and asked if she could help me find the link. 30 minutes later she sent it! Video in tact. She runs her own studio, sound booth and talent stage. She does not outsource her production studio. She is involved with every single production. The best thing about this place is by far having the expertise of Felicia right there. She will go out of her way to make sure the customer is happy. The facility is nice, and a great place to bring clients! Very private. Must enter through a privacy electric gate, no through traffic where you enter. The studio itself is sound, clean and the people that frequent there are professionals. The lighting is beautiful! The facility also has other rooms, each with its own unique features including a green screen room, a conference room, and a step-and-repeat for photo sessions. Nice setup. Super effective - sessions are booked in one hour increments. Felicia is a perfectionist (in a great way). She wants to see you win! The parking lot is rather small, about 10 spaces. But usually not a problem. There is limited street parking. The 4 studios, A,B,C,D, are clean and the equipment is pretty good and new-ish. Clean restroom. For a couple of bucks they offer coffee, sodas, snacks. Yes, there are a few unhoused people (bums) wandering the neighborhood and alleys. But I haven't had any problems. My main complaint is the soundproofing is not very good and the noise from adjacent studios is sometimes deafening and interferes with our rehearsals/recording. The bass from the adjacent studio last night actually hurt my ears. This needs to be fixed. Other than that, it's pretty good.

They have 4 rooms here and they are all acoustical made. This studio has everything needed to work on a musical project. Andrew was very helpful in assisting in everything we needed done while here he is good and musically inclined in finding your way around this studio.
