It was a true nightmare! I took photos in of my husband and our family and wanted to create a poster for him for his 80th birthday. I spent hours going through our albums at home and figuring out which pictures would be best and I dropped them off. I picked up the poster. Noticed one photo didn't look right so they fixed that one, but I really didn't go into detail on all of them because they were like 170 pictures and when the party planner put it up at the party, I walked in because it was surprise and everybody said oh my God, who are these people . The pictures had been AI altered I think and didn't look like the people that they were supposed to be. I was so embarrassed. I spent so much time and energy to get it right. To have a camera store take my photos and give them back to me altered was such a disappointment. The owner of the store didn't even apologize and said I should've looked at all the pictures more carefully when I picked it up. Who would think the photos would be altered ? Very disappointing experience. I paid $32 for two photos that were dark, poorly lit, and nowhere near the professional quality I expected. I later got two properly lit, much higher-quality photos elsewhere for only $12, with no Photoshop or retouching. Customer service was also rude and dismissive when I raised my concerns. I also personally saw another customer return because their passport photos from this business had been rejected. read more

One of the worst film photo development experiences I've ever had. Only marginally better than a Walgreens photo lab capabilities. They clearly did not develop the photos properly as they were left with a red color cast and a severe exposure imbalances. I took the negatives to another lab to have them re scanned, the other lab was able to salvage them a little bit but the damage had already been done! Won't be trusting this place again. read more

$18.65 is what I was charged for 2 physical passport photos and then an additional $13.17 to get them EMAILED to me. This is 2025. I'm sorry, it does not cost $13.17 to send a digital photo to someone's email. I cannot believe this place is still in business. Clearly they're making their money by up-charging. We went to a store to take passport photos for our European passports. They charged us $51 for two hard copies and a digital copy of the photos. However, the quality of the photos was very poor and they were rejected by the visa agency. So, we went to the visa agency and got six better quality photos for only $11. Later, we went back to the store to request a refund for the poor-quality photos, but they refused to issue a refund. They asked us to provide a written reason for the rejection of the photos from the visa agency. The issue with the photos was that they looked overblown and pixelated, as can be seen clearly on the picture. When we arrived to take a picture, there was already a man complaining about how they messed up his pictures. We should have left immediately. read more

Have used Digital Imaging on Venice Blvd. many times and always had great results. On my most recent visit, they enlarged some images from the internet. I emailed them the three digital files and they took the time on their own to find hi rez versions of what I sent them. The enlargements really came out great! read more

I had to get passport photos and this was the cheapest spot I could find nearby me. I paid $10.99 + tax for two pictures taken on the spot. The man I spoke to over the phone and then worked with once I arrived, was so kind! I hate to generalize or stereotype, but people who work in these types of places often come across like they hate life. I know inflation is happening but YIKES for one roll of 35 mm film they are charging $29, they only had two rolls upon my arrival his morning and it came to $63. This place was fast and was able to print my 8x12 photo, which was not available at places like CVS or Walgreens! These days, Costco and Target require several days of processing and shipping, so while they offer those alternate sizes, they won't have it done quickly. I emailed the photo, using their website, on a Monday morning. It was available for pickup by Tuesday at 4:00pm. Photo was great quality, as well! read more

Saved us when Costco couldn't do passport photos for foreign countries. They knew everything about it.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, I went to get my passport pictures taken for myself and my 2 kids. At the application center they did not taken them because they had white glare, so i had to pay again for pictures elsewhere. When I returned to ask for a refund they took the pictures from me and stated someone would call me to give me the refund, I am yet to receive that phone call. So in essence they stole from a customer, by taking back the pictures and not giving my refund. The guy who took the pictures is so rude, when I went to go talk to him about the refund, he started yelling. Don't waste your money, I was charged 54 dollars for 3 pictures. They are way overpriced and not professional. read more

I have been a customer here for many years, even before digital photography had arrived, and they've always provided exceptional service and quality printing. My review today is for their website, which is extremely easy to navigate. It's so simple to upload files, select sizes and finishing options, and place an order. You can have the prints shipped directly to you, or pick them up at the shop. I chose to pick them up. A day after placing my order I received a text message letting me know my order was ready. I just had a horrible experience with Digital Imaging Center in Culver City, thought it's share worthy. I've recently moved to LA and was looking for a place to develop my holga photos. Turns out, this is the closest film processing center. After leaving my photos, and the guy had no idea what a Holga is or how to even open it, I was told to come pick them up at 1 pm. I called around 1:30 to ask if they were developed and if so, how many were actually showing since sometimes, light leaks or over exposure might cause totally white photos in Holga. The guy I was on the phone was overly rude, said he doesn't know, just come and see for yourself and I told him that depending on how many are showing, I'll either get prints or not. After I said that, he said "I'm busy" then hung up. Way to go ! Then after a while, I called again and this time, I was told the whole film was over exposed. It had light leaks which it should, but they couldn't print or scan them like this. They made some excuses about how their machine only prints if there actually is enough exposure. All in all, horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I had a large negative from the 1940s. I went to CVS, who no longer processes film. They told me to go to Costco, but there, I was told that they don't process that large of negatives. They told me to go to Samy's, who told me that they could scan it for $10, but it'd take 10 days. Yelp told me to go to Digital Imaging Center. Between 4pm on a Saturday and 3pm on the following Monday (this location isn't open on Sundays), they scanned my picture, put it on a CD, and printed 4 (4x6) copies for less than $8. I don't know how their other services are, but for printing from an old negative, they were super fast, easy to deal with, well-priced, and gave me a great product. read more

When I got my photos back I was quite disappointed. They mishandled my film. I'm not too sad about it. It was old film because I couldn't find a place to develop it. Even so I do expect better service. It is a bit pricey. Usually when a place messes up the film or you don't get all your exposures they lower the price. I will still go back because it's the only place that develops film in my area. I guess you can only trust the printing if you are using digital. I will be going there soon to develop my black and white film. Hopefully that will be a better experience. read more

One week, I called to get a quote to make a photobook. The guy mentioned he could also do the service of putting it all together from scratch for a fee. The following week, I went in to make it there from scratch. They said they couldn't offer that service because they were busy right now. How lousy and pathetic. My first great experience with this store was several years ago when I decided to transfer several hundred slides from the '60's into digital. I called around and compared prices and the price here was about half of what the other stores were charging. I now have all my precious photos organized on my computer and it was no work for me at all. The resolution of my digital prints is smaller than the other stores would have done but I am not planning on blowing them up into 8x10 or posters and they are crisp and clear on my computer screen and in the 4x6 prints I made. I appreciate the savings. Recently I have been getting rid of all my VHS tapes. Many of them are of personal memories. Digital Imaging has transferred them to DVD, again at a reasonable price and with a 24 hour turnaround. These guys have always taken good care of me and I appreciate them. read more

Rite aid down the street charges $8.99 for passport photos. And they don't charge extra for European sizes. This place is a rip off.

It's too bad you can't give this outfit a ZERO rating. One star is too much! Don't waste your money. Brought an old photo in for professional repair and enhancement. They made us pay upfront. When we received the digital image of the enhancement via email it was truly amateurish and beyond awful. How this guy could have thought it would be acceptable is beyond reason. Also, he did 3 prints before getting approval on the digital image. I guess he had to justify his excessive charge some kind of way. Rather than risk argument and waste anymore time trying to get the situation corrected, we just picked up the original photo and brought it to a reputable photo repair shop on Fairfax. They did it right and it cost less. Digital Imaging Center was a total waste of time and money! read more
