For starters the food was amazing, I will admit looking at the burger I did not have high hopes but I was wrong. The burger was amazing and so were the fries, the fried mushrooms were also amazing. The fried mushrooms were burning hot so they were fresh. The service was great, the workers were kind and understanding and were even fine that we showed up twenty minutes before closing, which we didn't know they closed at 2:00. It was pretty clean and quiet inside the restaurant, the floors were beautiful and I loved how the tables were all set up. Overall, would definitely come again. read more

2 years later and this place is still going strong. The quality of the food has held up and the pricing while it has increased slightly is still worth it. I've tried several local diners and restaurants in the tri-county area and Daddy's is still coming in first place. Their cooks know how to make the food, their waitstaff is experienced and do a good job, and the menu items are always tasty. Thank you Daddy's 10-13 for providing a nice place to eat that's not a 45 minute drive from my home. read more

Biscuits and gravy was very bland and almost gritty. weirdly thick. hash browns came out slimey and uncooked when specified well done. when I complained the wholes staff demeanor changed and was no longer welcoming. Only was offered a refund after very sternly asking for it and was only refunded for what I didn't "eat" we barely touched our food lol. Coffee tasted gross and like they brewed the same stuff three times. me and my girlfriend both got sick within a hour of eating there. only thing I will give this place is the prices aren't outrageous. but with my order of two half orders of biscuits and gravy and one side hashbrown put me out $15 still. All the tables were wobbly and chairs were painful. Whole place is a cut from 1960 for better or worse. read more

We have eaten both breakfast and dinner at the diner and have really enjoyed our meal. Daddy's Diner is a "No-frills" dining experience when you are hungry for a meal. We had breakfest this morning here. We asked for crispy hash browns, our waitress said they we'll come out how they are cooked as crisp as they get. They came barely cooked. The sasuage was burnt and when we mentioned it to the waitress she said we'll that's how they cook it. read more

Visited here on (01/08/23) ordered Breakfast, Rise & Shine which cam with hash browns & toast. Asked to sub the toast for a biscuit, which was ok. Then looked at the A La Cart extras, and saw gravy for a $1.95 add. So I asked to add the gravy also and was told if I did that it's considered a 1/2 order of biscuits & gravy for $3.95, REALLY? So again, I looked at the A La Cart and saw that you can also add a biscuit for $1.50, so I said just give me a biscuit and the gravy off of the side menu and again was told I couldn't do that, it's considered a 1/2 order of Biscuits & Gravy for $3.95, totally ridiculous!!! Take the items off of the sides menu if you cannot order them!!! read more

This place has been remodeled and has a very nice hometown atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and seem very happy in their jobs. Home cooked meals prepared the way you like them. I tried the liver and onions, not to many places do this anymore. I was very pleased, they were very tasty and more then I could eat. New owners should be very proud of what they have. This small town sure was ready for something new. Rest assured I will be back to try more of the food! read more

This place continues as my top local pick but could do better. Still great homemade food. Salad bar has a good selection and they'll give you a small plate for "sweets" if you're doing a one-trip (bargain priced!). Burgers are the best! Tenderloin rocks, pounded out big and tender - homemade. Daily specials. Breakfast is ok with rich dark diner coffee. Service is good. Desserts are made fresh. Hash browns were soggy just not edible at all. Generally need more greens on the salad bar, too many mayonnaise salads. Please get rid of the smoking area- people must be able to go 30 minutes without a cigarette! Or at least close it up and get an exhaust fan for them (errr, for the rest of us). read more

This has become the new Sunday morning breakfast spot for the family! Absolutely love their biscuits and gravy!

I travel a lot for work around the KC area and found myself in Richmond one late morning. This place came recommended to me for lunch and so my co-worker and I stopped by. It was Friday, so they had a special on fried chicken or fried catfish. We tried one of each and they were definitely super good! The building has obviously been around for a long time and has an old-school diner vibe. My coworker and I sat at the bar in front of the kitchen and chatted with the ladies behind the counter. I came back a second time and got the taco special for lunch and they were good. The food isn't the best diner food in the world necessarily but the place is clean and the staff are friendly. Whenever I'm in Richmond, I'll pop back in for lunch! read more

My husband and I are arrived early to make sure that we got a seat. My brother-in-law came in and looked and he saw that we had a table. So he went to get my 93 year old mother in law that confined to a wheelchair into the diner. The diner parking lot was completely full so they had to park at the building next door. Her wheelchair only goes about a mile an hour so it took longer than normal for her to be able to get into the diner. At that time they came and told me that they would not let me Reserve those tables. I told them that my family was just coming into the door at that time. DO NOT buy restaurant.com coupons for this place, they won't accept them. We went there only because of the coupon. Food was bland and over priced for the quality. daddy's dinner is a great place to go for lunch or dinner (as long as you want to eat early). their chicken fried steak, tenderloin and liver and onions are all to die for and their cakes and pies are home made. most of the servers are friendly and welcoming but there's one woman who's behavior makes me wonder why she's working with the public... she never says a word to me, she slams my dishes down on the table and rarely in front of me, never comes back to refill coffee/water/etc and asking if i would like anything else seems to be beyond her skill level. when i enter i try to judge which part of the room she's working so i can sit elsewhere, which doesn't always work. other than 'lucretia' i love the place and have recommended it to many. read more

Really good breakfast if you can get service. My wife and I went there for breakfast and the waitress saw us. Ignored us, took orders from a couple that came in long after us and still continued to ignore us. After 20 minute of sitting with no service what so ever, we left. Won't go back. read more
