The owner shared some of the local history, and our server even told us about the underground tunnels that were reportedly used by gangsters years ago. They started us with fresh bread and a delicious olive oil dip with garlic, red pepper, and Parmesan. We split the spaghetti and meatballs, and there was enough left for lunch the next day. The meatballs were excellent, and the sauce had a great balance of flavor without being too sweet. They also have creative gangster-themed drinks and house-made cannolis, plus other desserts in the bakery case.
