Well its October 2025, and it was like a Ghost town and the food court was by far the saddest one. I think only two places were opened on a Saturday. Lots of stores are closed and the parking lot was completely free. Not much selection now in terms of things. They still have some clothing stores left, but not sparse in terms of styles. The food court is actually clean because of the low foot traffic and someone is constantly cleaning the place. They do have Tesla superchargers here so its a good place to charge and walk around. The chargers are in the corner of the lot and typically just walking to the bathroom and back and most of the charge should be done so not really much time left to wander. It was sad to see and kind of made me feel like life has moved on from my childhood.

They have something for everyone in terms of the stores, restaurants, and various other things in this section. Frederick really does have a little bit of everything because there's so much space to build out here and with the addition of Firebirds and a few other places it just really shines and it's great for locals and those who don't mind traveling a few minutes to enjoy the place they were looking for. It's always clean here and there are rarely any crazy things happening. It's also great in the summer time if you want to walk around or enjoy the outdoors. There's always great service at the stores and restaurants here. Good value for what you get in terms of money and convenience. Things are decently priced given the current state of things. There's always room for improvement, but this space is on the right track.

If you get there early enough you can grab a bite to eat and use the restaurant seating. There's an area in front of the stage for dancing and believe me it's used. It's so much fun being with your family and friends enjoying good music. The vibes are electric! This is a non smoking and alcohol event. There are 2 more concerts left and then I will feel like my summer is coming to an end:(

They now have a Rock& Toss crab house, Sake Japanese steakhouse, Cava, and Nalley Fresh. A Mama's on the Halfshell is coming soon. I came on this occasion to enjoy the live music with my family. It so nice to have a free outdoor activity to entertain everyone. I had a great time. On this occasion I got some Missikn BBQ. I enjoyed out in the little avenue area they have roped off. They no longer allow and consumption of alcoholic outside so you will have to enjoy that at one of the few locations nearby before coming out to see the music. Smoking is not allowed but there are always a few violators. I saw plenty of security monitoring the area and they will remind people this is an alcohol and smoke free event. I had a great time and will come back as long as the weather cooperates.

So much to do here. In the winter, I love ice skating…read more Today they had the Memorial Day Parade with lots of performances. Lots of nearby parking garages which can be free and some are paid. My favorite places here: Library, BobaPOP, Kyoto, 5 Guys , First Watch. Lots of Pokestop or gyms if you play Pokémon go. Alot of good restaurants are gone :( so make sure you check before coming here. Oh yeah Trader Joe's is here and with free 60 minute parking!

A lot of people brought chairs but we found seats along the wall on the side of the main stage. There were different food and drink vendors and other stalls, portalettes, and some covered seating as well. We had a good time. We generally only come to this part of the area for the movie theater, so it was cool to see it with such a community event focus!

It is so odd to step foot into a mall nowadays. Francis Scott Key Mall is one of the former. Somehow this mall is thriving with some well established national brands and a surprise or two. This is a single level mall that I had the chance to visit twice over the past few months while travelling back and through the area. I took it as a point where I was either almost there or just outside of the busy areas. Anchor stores are what you think it would be with one of the surprises mixed in. This mall just happens to still have a Sears as an anchor store. But not only a Sears, a JCPenney. Two stores that have left malls in droves the past copy of years. It is just so odd to see. This is an easy mall to get through but also an easy mall to get lost in. I can see this a one stop shop for items for birthdays or the holidays. However, I don't see it being a destination shopping area for those from outside the area.

She was also outright rude, acting as if she did not want to retrieve the customer's order. I asked for a manager; she resisted calling one and displayed an unnecessary attitude. When the manager finally came to the front, she was not helpful either. She did not look for the customer's order and simply told me it was not there. To justify not checking, she stated that she had already told the customer the store did not have the item they ordered. This store has EXTREMELY POOR customer service, and as an African American woman, I was led to believe that the behavior I experienced was prejudiced.
