When I saw their Atlanta location in Buckhead, I pulled right in to check it out. This location will not disappoint! I was greeted immediately by staff and assisted well when I needed it. The store manager and I had a brilliant conversation about Patagonia's partnership with Apricot Lane Farms. I bought the beanie hat several years ago to support that collaboration! I bought several items with the promise to come back to the store when I have more time to shop. The advantage of having that in-store experience, is that I was able to try things on before purchasing. I have recently lost weight and am down a size. While finalizing my purchase, another customer walked off with my bag. I called the store from the parking lot when I realized. The staff admitted they saw it on camera and was going to look for the person in the mall. Called me back and said he couldn't find them. I had to prompt him to ask how they were going rectify it. The "owner " is in the background and says tell her it's your birthday and you need to leave. The young man told me that and that the owner would call back. I asked was he calling me back immediately. He said yes and hung up. Well he never did and he wasn't going to. So I walked in. I met the owner in the store and he met me with aggravation. The owner, instead of offering help, accused me of "pressuring" him just because I needed the situation resolved immediately. I was leaving town for a game which was the whole reason I was there in the first place. It also seemed as though he was insinuating that I wasn't being honest. Telling me they gave me a bag and receipt. Which turn out it was only the new items not the original ones I didn't want to exchange. I remained calm but firm and just asked for basic accountability. Yet he kept tell me I needed to calm down and told me I was threatening him by telling him I was going to have to call the police if this wasn't handled. Sir, that's not a threat. That s what people do when people steal their things !!!! The owner tried to dismiss me, denied the obvious evidence, disregarded his own employee who looked at the footage and called another person to pull up the cameras because he didn't know how. The person over the phone saw the man take the bag. He argued with him saying he did ask that customer and he said "no" as if people don't lie!!!!! Only after the person over the phone doubled down that the bag was indeed taken and described the person did they finally admit the truth. He then asked me what items was I missing and I had to say.... You should start this conversation by offering an apology. No customer should be treated like they're a nuisance, especially when they're the one wronged. I had to witness the owner apologize to other customers about me, as if I was causing a scene when all I wanted was my belongings back. In the end, the footage confirmed exactly what I said all along. If I could have done a refund I would have taken every single item back ! If this store wants loyalty, they need to start by believing their customers and treating people with basic respect. I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone. I will never spend a dime in this place ever again. I'll drive to Chattanooga to get my Tennessee gear from now on

On 2/8/26 my family visited the store to purchase equipment for our first ski trip. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted or acknowledged by any staff members. During our time in the store, we observed employees actively engaging with and offering assistance to other customers. Despite our visible presence and attempts to seek help, no employee approached or offered assistance to our family. While attempting to locate ski goggles for my son, we approached an employee working in that section of the store. The employee ignored our presence and did not respond to our attempts to engage him. He only acknowledged us after noticing that we were attempting to locate assistance from another staff member. We then moved to the ski boot and winter boot section to request assistance. My son politely asked an employee located in the rear of the store for help. The employee immediately raised his voice toward my son and made an additional comment under his breath that was inappropriate and unprofessional. My son returned to my wife and I visibly uncomfortable. The same employee then approached our family and, in an aggressive and hostile tone, stated, "What do you want? Hurry up. I do not have a lot of time. Which one of you is first?" I addressed the employee directly and informed him that his conduct was rude and unprofessional. Due to the nature of that interaction, we discontinued seeking assistance from him. Despite the prior interactions, we proceeded to the checkout counter to complete a purchase. After waiting in line for service, the cashier answered a phone call and remained engaged on the call while we stood directly in front of him without acknowledgement or explanation. When the cashier concluded the call and began assisting us, we calmly explained the treatment we experienced in the rear of the store. The cashier responded by stating that the store was busy and suggested that we should return during non busy hours. This response dismissed our concerns and failed to address the conduct that occurred. Throughout our visit, we observed employees offering assistance and providing service to other customers while our family was repeatedly overlooked, spoken to in a hostile manner, and treated in a way that was materially different from other patrons. Based on the totality of these circumstances, we believe our family was subjected to discriminatory and disrespectful treatment. Most concerning was the emotional impact this experience had on our son, who was exposed to conduct that no child or customer should experience in a retail environment. Consumers should expect to be treated with professionalism, dignity, and equal service regardless of background. Based on our experience, individuals and families should carefully consider this when deciding where to purchase ski and winter sporting equipment. Response to my post; Chris, while I appreciate your respond it doesn't excuse your team and how they treated me and my family. It doesn't talk about what you and your staff will do going forward to ensure you don't treat people in such a demoralizing way. We will never come back to any of your locations. Praying that you see this for what it is and do more as a human to support those who want to enjoy outdoor sports

I've made two trips to this store - the first one with very good customer service, the second one with not so good customer service. Having never purchased golf clubs before, I went to Play It Again Sports on the recommendation of a few colleagues. On my first trip, I was referred to an employee who was very knowledgable about golf. The employee did an excellent job answering my questions and was able to set me up with a used set of irons and a putter, while giving me a good explanation of different products in the store. I returned for a second trip after my driver broke, expecting more good service. I asked one of the employees if they fix golf clubs. He abruptly told me that clubs are not fixed, and spoke in an attitude that he didn't want to be bothered. I asked if he knew where I could fix clubs, and he shot back that I should check Google. Then, I asked him if someone could help me decide if I should buy a new club instead of fixing it - which was when he sent me to the golf club section to figure it out on my own. I would expect an employee at a store that sells sporting goods, but doesn't fix them, should know where to fix sporting goods (the answer, which I got from another source, is PGA Superstore or a club repair shop at a local golf course). At the very least, I should be referred to another employee in the store who would know - if not information on repair, at least information on what I could purchase as a replacement. If I knew what to buy, I would go to Amazon instead of going to the store. And to be honest, I would recommend that you shop on Amazon instead of coming here. Good customer service which was sadly followed by an episode of very crummy customer service. I'd much rather spend more money at a place that treats me better than save a buck coming here.

They're incredibly attentive to details, and go above and beyond to help customers. I also really appreciate the fact that they give their frank opinions, and don't just try to sell you on everything. If a shoe doesn't look great on you, or they think it might hurt your particular feet after a while, they'll tell you! High arches? Flat feet? Everyone wears shoes differently. And I don't know about you, but when I'm spending that much money on a shoe, I like honesty. But if you tell them what you're looking for, they'll help you find it--and if it's not available at that time, they'll still remember your preferences for future reference. Keep up the great work, ladies! Your level of professionalism, care, and kindness make me want to keep coming back whenever I need new shoes.
