This place is the best! Signing up for an evaluation day was quick and easy. I wish I was able to make time for a tour beforehand, as there were not able to accommodate during drop off times. But they do have a virtual tour on their website that really helps! I do wish there were live cameras so I can peep in while I'm at work though. I do love that they offer a lot of add-on services for your pup, even seasonal ones that I'm looking forward to him trying, as well as overnight boarding suites. Dropping him off for the evaluation day went great, the front desk was very thorough and even told me that I could call to check in and see how he's doing after 2 hours. Previously my puppy has gone to a different daycare, but at the Wagging lounge you can tell the staff enjoy what they do and love dogs. When we picked him up afterwards he was happy and worn out, and the staff all said "Bye Ted!" on the way out. Overall, great experience for a dog owner and my happy boy. My border collie, Mia, has been going to Wagging Lounge Resort since she was first vaccinated as a puppy. Now four years old, she still loves it as much as ever, both the people and the dogs. The team there captures amazing photos and fun music videos, giving us a glimpse of how much our fur babies are enjoying themselves. I would easily rate this place a 10! Wagging Lounge is a great doggy day care or boarding for your dog. The facility is clean and well maintained. They offer daycare, boarding and have a nice grooming area. You can requests grooming for your dog or use the grooming area independently. I like the drying rooms in the grooming area. It's closed in and has a dryer that you can use to dry your doggo. It makes it easier to let your dog off leash as you dry him or her. Our dog loves Wagging Lounge. He gets excited when we ask him if he wants to go. We've boarded our dog here and didn't have any issues. Our dog came home with no issues which was a plus. We recommend Wagging Lounge. read more

I saw several dogs on the side line sitting down, which would be reasonable given that it was 102 degrees that day, and not one of these dogs sitting on the side was my dog. In fact they do not take very old dogs or shy dogs at all. I came here to take my dog for an "evaluation" to be boarded. I'm filling out a form and another lady comes in with her dog. Her dog ran up to my dog and they were friendly with eachother. A staff person ran out to the front and yelled at me "No! We do not allow leash contact in this area!" I'd never been there in my life how would I know and I should never be yelled at, it wasn't even my dog that started the interaction. Anywho, they take your dog in for daycare for about 2-3 hours (they say). So I dropped him off around 8:30 and had a hair appt at 1. They said if he doesn't pass you will have to come pick him up. In 2-3 hours if he passes you will get no phone call because he can stay. Okay. At hour 2 I just missed him so I called to check in. The lady said he was not being very social and she will evaluate how he does outside. An hour or so passes and I hear nothing so I consider he passes and go to my appointment. As I'm pulling up to my appointment (4hours after drop off) she calls and says he failed and I need to pick him up ASAP. I'm like what happened. Apparently her words : he's too shy, he's anxious and nervous, he's sitting in the corner. I asked if he was aggressive, she says no, just shy. So he failed. I had to have my fiancée leave work to pick him up. Of course my dog is shy in a new place, the usual boarding place we go to is booked so I had to try this place. He takes some time to warm up and the staff could've tried to make him feel comfortable. He's not aggressive at all. Just older, lazy and shy. if that is their policy , then that is their policy it just sucks and I wish they would have stuck with their timeline and notified me by the 3rd hour so I could've gotten him. I definitely do not want him in a place that makes him feel nervous and the staff isn't helping him to feel less nervous or is not trained to know how. So anyway that's my experience. It wasn't a specifically negative experience either, it was a nice place even though they only do tours from 2-4 so I couldn't see the place when I dropped him.. which is funny because my dog needed an evaluation but I digress. No matter how great the services are, if the staff is not helpful, cordial, or customer oriented, I refuse to patronize the business. Ha! This is not the case with Wagging Lounge Dog Resort. The staff and service was 100% on point. The staff was accommodating, experienced, knowledgeable, cordial, and had the best customer service attitude that I've seen in a long time. I will not be returning to Wagging Lounge. I took my 40ish pound lab and terrier mix for boarding and an exit bath. When I dropped him off, I asked how much a bath would cost and I was told $35 based on his weight and coat length. After picking him up and paying, I realized I was charged $50 for his bath. When I called to ask why I was told that he is a long hair dog. I just spoke to the manager and was informed that any dog with fur over 1 millimeter is considered "long hair" by their standards. Even though the AKC classifies both labs and terrier dogs as short haired. Apparently Wagging Lounge goes by a chart they have that they don't bother to share with customers to give an accurate price. The manager told me she was sorry, but there was nothing she could do. Seems a refund could/should be issued but they are declining to do so even though I was given an incorrect price. Does this dog look like he has long hair?? This place is overpriced in general, find someplace better to take your dog! read more

I absolutely love it! I started using their services this year and I couldn't be happier. I boarded my intact dog Belgian Malinois here for 5 nights in a standard suite. After picking him up I noticed he had raw red sores on the bottom of his testes (see photo). The fur was completely worn away and the sores were slightly weeping. I'm not sure if they are burns from hot blacktop, sores from wet concrete, or chemical burns from any cleaners. Upon taking my dog to the vet, the sores on his testicles were diagnosed to be infected with stafp. He is now being treated with an antibiotic. The owner of the Wagging Lounge, Jimmy, denies that something in his facility caused the sores and is unwilling to issue a refund; though he did offer to potentially share the vet bill. For me it's less about the money and more about the harm that has come to my dog and potentially others. He believes my dog licked himself until the sores were formed. I urge you to look at the photos and make the determination yourself! There is no doubt that sometime between dropping my dog off and picking him up from the Wagging Lounge that these sores were formed. I called the wagging lounge and asked what could have caused this and what the flooring of the environments are. They did not know what could cause it. The standard suite is laminated concrete, the outdoor play area is artificial turf, and the timeout area is blacktop, which is partially exposed to the sun. Keep your pups safe and in the hands of people who are willing to take responsibility! I will not be utilizing Wagging Lounge's services any longer. read more

I loved this place until I found out my 8yr old dog was in the private kennel/cage ALL DAY LONG! As told to me by employees. Yes, more than 1. :-((( He didn't even get taken out to relieve himself or get water on a reg basis. On pick up he would finish guzzling water from the lobby water bowl and why he urinated for 4 minutes upon pickup. I even made comments to the staff and they either looked away or gave a nervous laugh. I was devastated and so angry. The owner tried to explain, it went on deaf ears. I would NEVER bring ANY pet here ever again. I wish I had planned a surprise visit when I got this news, but we never went back. Unfortunately, there is no Zero option for reviews or this would be one. We laid our best boy to rest 2 weeks ago age 10 yrs old. I travel frequently for work and fun. I was looking for a boarding facility for my dog and found Wagging Lounge Dog Resort on Yelp. Like any boarding facility they require your pet to be up to date on all shots. But I liked that in addition, they do temperament testing. They have you bring your dog for a few hours and see how they interact with other dogs. Essentially making sure your dog is not a menace. I know my dog is not a menace, but it gave me piece of mind to know that he was not going to be spending time with any bad influences while I was away. My dog seemed to enjoy his time there and they put a ton of pictures on their facebook page so you can see how your dog is doing every day. They also offer a shuttle service to pick/drop off your dog to your home. Luxury suites for people that really want to pamper their dog. They do grooming there and also provide a doggy daycare service. We have used them twice for our pup and will definitely be using them again. read more

All of the dogs that we saw during our brief tour looked super energetic and happy to be there. My dog loves this daycare. I was extremely nervous at first, I'm overprotective of my dog. But Onyx runs in each day, likes the staff and they seem to love their job with the dogs. Pictures posted each day on Facebook help assure you that your dog is happy. The locally owned business aspect really made me feel better about patronizing this business. My puppy is essentially my child. Therefore, I was very picky while searching for a great place for doggy day care and boarding services while my husband and I are on vacations. We found "our place" in Wagging Lounge! We have boarded our dog once and sent her there for daycare once. Nevertheless, I have interacted with several staff members on the phone at this point and in person and every interaction has been very pleasant, professional, and I left feeling comfortable leaving my puppy in their hands. My dog has a BLAST every time she goes to Wagging Lounge and comes home happy and exhausted after playing there all day with several size-appropriate dogs and staff members. This business has reasonable prices, a variety of different services, and they post daily videos and photos on their Instagram in which you can see updates of your dogs while you're away! Convenient and easy. I have a chocolate lab. They trim her nails and brush her teeth. I generally just wait in the parking lot. The nail clip was $17. I wouldn't want to pay more but it is worth it for that price. She seems fine afterwards. No nerves, etc. and the nails are much better. I also use the self service tubs. Great accessories. Hair dryer. Large and easy to get the job done. Appreciate the staff and ease of use. I've been here at least 6 times. Highly recommend. read more

Everyone was very nice and helpful! If your dog is at all nervous or scared around new people or dogs I do not recommend. When I brought my pup a man came out to take him and my dog was clearly afraid. He attempted to get him to comply, by pulling him forcefully from his leash several times as my dog resisted, another staff member had to kindly tell him to stop so she could take over. It just didn't feel right and I wish I hadn't left my dog that day. Otherwise everyone was very very nice and professional. I do believe they care about the doggies although the situation was not handled properly. I do know others who's pups love this daycare! read more

We have also boarded him here three times while we go on trips or visit family and could not be more happy with Wagging Lounge. Firstly, let me start by saying I don't necessarily blame the staff as I'm sure it's just poor training and a poor business model/operations from the owner. With that being said the staff does not know much about dogs nor how to interact with them properly. First thing I noticed was that they tend to stick their hands out to "introduce" themselves to the dog. Not only is this an old practice that was debunked as something not to do... it's entirely dangerous. Logically dogs have incredible smell, they do not need you to stick your hand in their face for them to smell you, in addition, its dangerous to walk up to something that's already possibly scared and doesn't know you and you just stick your hand in it's face, for it to suddenly "trust" you based off your smell. As a dog day care id expect them to be up to date on best practices with dogs considering that's been debunked and told not to do since about 2013. Second red flag I saw was how they handle scared dogs(if your dog is shy, don't even try with them). Upon entering there's a lot of dogs in the waiting area, some very large and scared. If the dog is too scared to move to walk to the back ... what do they do...? Either pick your large dog up themselves and carry them to the back or ask "can I drag your dog to the back" to which if the owner says yes... they simply drag the dog by the collar. Dogs are living things capable of experiencing fear And traumatization. Do you really think the best practice is for you as a stranger to forcefully move the dog versus allowing the owner to warm the dog up and walk them to the back as they do in the vet? I mean this is a daycare? Would these tactics be okay with a child? Third... they ignored everything I placed on my sheet in regards to my dog and how to make them comfortable. I get a call saying "your dog is doing XYZ" ... at first I was a little flustered with my dog but then I asked "well what did you guys do".... the staff stated they placed my dog into a crate (which I put on the form not to do because common sense would tell you not to put a fearful animal into a cornered situation because what does a fearful cornered animal do... become aggressive. Don't get me wrong, crates are great !, when used properly) and ultimately they stuck their hands towards my dog and my dog was not okay with that(no dog treats, no giving them time to adjust, no gaining the dogs trust was tried, just a hand in the face for trust).... well obviously ... would you be okay with someone shoving you in a small room and then sticking their hand in your face ? Mind you, I have two dogs and they stuck BOTH in the same crate, their individual crates at home are bigger than the one they stuck both of them in. My smallest dog was on top of the larger one. I got my dog, I called my trainer thinking my dog has behavioral issues that needs to be fixed. After explaining to them they went " no your dogs acted like... dogs. it's sad that these types of places don't have the time nor effort to actually try with the dogs. it's an in and out revolving door of dogs , get money scheme" If your dog has the personality of trusting every person and dog instantly then this is great for you , but my dog in particular has always been the type to be cautious around new people (which is great because my dog is like my child and I'd want my child to be cautious with strangers for safety), I know a lot about dogs and therefore I know this isn't necessarily the best place to bring a dog unless you either don't know too much about how to treat a dog so you allow these red flags or your dog is just the super friendly type. Either way I don't blame the owners, staff or dogs, I blame the owner for the lack of knowledge, training and care given. read more

We took the poochie to Wagging Lounge to give her a bath. It was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. The Wagging Lounge is very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. They provide everything you need for the self serve dog wash and save you from the clean up. A dryer room is included in your wash. Cha Cha (the pup) loved it. The dryer was quick and simple to use and acts as a heated squeegee to quick dry the dog. They have an array of treats and other services. This made bath time so easy. I couldn't write this review fast enough! I have a semi dog aggressive pit bull that really needed a bath. I decided to try this place out and walked in with my 70 pound dog in a muzzle and I can't tell you how kind the staff was! I'm usually greeted with the exact opposite. We did the self service bath and they have a private room so he wasn't distracted. Afterwards they clipped his nails right away!! I can't recommend this place enough. The self service bath is 17$ and includes shampoo conditioner and blow dryers... Oh and towels. The facility was really nice and clean. They also offer boarding and daycare but obviously we didn't try that. I highly highly recommend this place. It means so much when we aren't met with that side eye because he's a pit and wearing a muzzle! We will be back. read more

Wagging Lounge is a delightful place. The employees are passionate and friendly. However there has been verified employee-sent accusations on Linkeden about corporate and managers of wagging lounges are underfunding the employee area and play-area. There has also been more serious accusations of animal abuse that is unknown if it is true or not. We recently moved to this area and was looking for a dog sitter for an upcoming trip. I went on a tour to few facilities in this area. Once I got a tour of this place and met the workers, I knew where I wanted to take my dog. Jimmy and his wife were so accommodating. I knew my dog was in good hands. I loved how they took pictures and updated their Facebook so that I could see her while i was away. My dog looked so happy staying here! I am so glad I found this place. I forgot to mention that their grooming service is just as awesome. I think this is one of the best cuts my dog ever got. I love it. I suggest taking a picture to them if there is a specific cut you want. I think they even did a better job than the picture I gave them. Now I have a go to dog sitter and groomer! We use their doggie day care service and could not feel more comfortable that our Luku is in great hands! Based on the reviews, I excitedly scheduled an evaluation appointment and received an email confirmation but when I arrived with my dog, I was hardly greeted by someone named Amanda. She was very rude, for no reason at all. After 10 minutes she finally found our appointment but said my dogs bordatella vaccine had expired, so they could not do the evaluation. That was perfectly fine because I was not leaving my dog at this place after meeting Amanda, with such poor customer service skills. read more
