Yetti Skillet! Wowza and Yuge. Hashbrowns, ham, bella shrooms, red bell peps, cheddar and pepper jack cheese. You can order 1/2

What can we say! The Yetti is a breakfast for all day! I was happy I had some hasbrown lovers to share this with. One of the best skillets i have had in a long while!! The Strawberry Nutella crepes were amazing as well. Super rich! I suggest sime coffee or with this. The coffee and drinks were great as well. And to top this all off with great service. They are on it all! Go and enjoy!

Wanted to be here for breakfast. Reviews looked good. Ran late so it became 12:00 by the time we got here. With my vegan lady friend. We found a few things on the menu and they were quite good for sure would recommend in a heartbeat. They do feed you a lot!

We got here at 11 on a Sunday, hoping to beat the lunch crowd but no such luck; we waited over 30 min for a table and then at least 20 min for our food after we ordered, BUT they did tell us to expect such a wait. The menu is unique and appetizing, which is probably why this place is so popular. All in all, it's a nice spot with great service but the wait was so long! I'm glad they offer 1/2 size portions of their main dishes because that was wayyyyyy more than enough food. The El Presidente was good but I wish all of the hash browns were crispy, the ones on top were mushy.

My sister was is Eau Claire for work and she loved this place, and I had to check it out. They have VEGAN options which is a plus along with non dairy milk! We went on a Saturday morning and only had to wait 10 or so minutes for a table which isn't too bad. I got the vegan bagel sandwich and thought it was very filling. I got the chai tea with vanilla flavoring and it was delightful. My sister enjoyed her meal as well. It was loud along with music playing in the background so at times it was hard to hear each other. The bathrooms were also clean (there's changing tables as well). There's also plenty of street parking nearby. Overall this was a nice experience and would love to came back.

1/2 yeti skillet. The half portion is HUGE, and super delicious!!

The cafe has a very light, aesthetically appealing atmosphere. The employees were incredibly friendly! The food is amazing; I had 1/2 yeti skillet (which is more than enough food!) and my partner had the lemon crepes. Both were delicious and came in large portion sizes, especially for the price!! If I ever find myself in the area again, The Nucleus Cafe is a must-visit.

Seasonal specials not on their regular menu

Lively place with all tables filled at 10am on a Thursday. Definitely popular in the area with an absolutely creative menu. Tried the Spring Pig from the seasonal specials menu. Great fresh asparagus n egg n cream cheese n bacon wrapped in a delicate crepe. Great flavor combination I'd never have thought to put together.

My daughter got the strawberry Nutella crepe. It was full of whipped cream and strawberries. Whipped cream overload, but good. Everything people around us had looked good, and the place was packed.

Great local spot in the downtown district. Great service with a unique coffee-shop/diner atmosphere. Great breakfast food options at a reasonable price. The only issue we found was that it is a local favorite so you may have to wait a while to be seated, but well worth the wait!

Signed blue massive wall art. They have such amazing decor.

Wish I could give 6 or 7 stars. The staff is the best I've encountered in a very very long time. Helpful, kind and you can tell they want you to have the best experience. The food was fantastic and the decor is great. I was told to eat here by educators from Whitehall, WI and they were so right. Love this place!

Over of two dining areas. Seating is eclectic. Tables could use a coat of varnish.

We both had the Fickle Chicken plate. A curried chicken with celery, almonds and dried cranberries on a toasted chiabbata roll. It sounded good on the menu. It comes with either chips or fruit. It wasn't like curried chicken salad like we expected. The veggies were sauteed, then mixed into the chicken and then formed into what must have been a pattie then browned. This gave it an unusual texture. I probably wouldn't order that again. The servers were very friendly and mostly attentive, except I had to ask for a drink refill twice because our server was engaged in friendly conversation with another table for quite some time. The ambience is quite eclectic from server attire to contemporary artwork. Sort of like 60's dorm room. Clearly popular as there were a lot of customers. We were heading from Minneapolis to Chicago, but if we stopped again we'd probably order from their breakfast menu; that looked pretty good.

Eau Claire, Wi. After my last visit here I feel I must upgrade my rating because the omelette was one of the best I've had. Moist without being runny, full of good ingredients and an exceptional sauce. The lattes were perfect and served in Not Neutral cups that retain heat very well and are easy to hold. The orange juice is still the best around, and my wife's eggs were perfect. With such an extensive menu though, why not add simple items like granola with yogurt and fruit? Maybe too difficult to reprint the menu?

Had a Sunday breakfast after a relatively short wait (having coffee @ Racy's). Friendly capable service. Tasty coffees. My son had the vegan Crunch wrap and enjoyed it very much. I had the chèvre crepe and added bacon. So,so good. My husband is a traditionalist and had 3 eggs, sausage, toast and crispy hash browns. He could not finish it all. Pleasant setting, great decor.

TLDR: creative cocktail and good menu with a Wisconsin twist…read more I brought my group of 8 family and friends here and everyone loved what they ordered! The menu features a lot of local Wisconsin produce and Wisconsin favorites with a twist, like Baked Cheese Curds (the tomato jam is SO GOOD) and Portobello Poppers with a wild rice and cheddar filling (it was so tasty I couldn't believe it was vegetarian!). Everyone really liked the Chicken Fried Rabbit (obviously, not our veg friend lol). The buttermilk-brined rabbit leg was so juicy and tender. The red cabbage slaw on the side was a perfect pairing. The Candied Pork Belly just melted in my mouth, no joke! And I love that it was seasoned with hoisin sauce and came with some baba ghanoush, which you'd think wouldn't go together--but it so does. For my main, I had the Grilled Ribeye and my bf had the Roasted Lamb. Both were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and both were phenomenal! The chimichurri on the side had some sweet kick to it but the steak didn't even need it bc it was plenty flavorful and tasty. The lamb was so tender and the mint gelee was *chef's kiss*. The Great Lakes Walleye was served on a nice tomato confit brodo and my bf's parents absolutely loved how imaginative it was. We all thought it'd just come out with a side of potatoes or something but the presentation blew us away AND they said it was very lovely. The kids loved their How 'Bout Them Apples pizza, which wouldn't have been my first choice (apples on pizza?!) but it did look tasty! For drinks, I ordered the Seamus (which is basically an old fashioned with Irish whiskey) and my partner ordered the Watermelon Mojito. I couldn't believe he liked the Seamus bc he usually hates old fashioneds but tbf it was a very well balanced cocktail! His Watermelon Mojito was refreshing and yummy (but a little too sweet for me). My bf and our friend both loved it tho! We'll definitely be back again the next time we pass thru Eau Claire!!

But they seated us anyway, and took good care of us. The food is good. We just had a small shared salad and pizza. But I'll be honest it isn't as good as some of the more formal restaurants that I have been to.. (but again we only had pizza).

This was while multiple other parties who arrived after us were served their food, ate, paid and left. It was quite obvious they forgot to submit the order or the kitchen lost the ticket. These things happen and I would never fault someone for an accident when they acknowledge and apologize. But they acted like nothing was wrong when I asked (after 35 minutes of waiting), and I was also quite surprised that they didn't offer any discount or food while we waited. The food was good, but definitely not worth the wait or the $65+ bill for 4 people just ordering breakfast and nothing else. Sadly may be our first and last time here, even though we had heard great things about it.

By the time we left there were a lot of people waiting for a table. The hostess and waitstaff were very friendly. Water glasses and coffee were kept full. The coffee was a little watery. I had the ham and cheddar omelette. I didn't want the hash browns so they substitute a salad instead. The salad was good. The omelette was very different. The eggs were extremely soft. It had sliced ham which was a little hard to cut through and the cheddar cheese was very sharp. The sourdough bread was good. My husband had the biscuits and gravy which he said wasn't very hot. My daughter in law said the hash browns were very good.
