Common Ground is awesome. We discovered this place while visiting the apple orchards last year. Every visit is solid with fun conversations, great food, and drinks. The pizza is top-notch, and the chicken wings are rather addictive and tasty. Drinks from margs to tap beer always hit the spot. We moved from LA to Yucaipa earlier this year, and we now try to go at least every other week. Emry, Calrissa, and Chef Paul are simply the best. Super nice and friendly. read more

This place is new and clean, family and pet friendly. Customer service was friendly and on top of it. Nicole and the rest of the staff worked together to help everyone as promptly as possible. This place is horrible!!!!! Service sux!!! Nothing but a bunch of kids working here. I don't see one adult working here!!! Ordered drinks 20 minutes ago. They just came to say the keg is empty!!! Terrible place! First we had to wait 50 minutes, once we were seated we then had to wait an additional 10 minutes of our waited to come. We then placed our drink order and food order. We ordered nachos, quesadillas, and a pizza. The nachos were gross. The quesadillas were not any good. Lastly we never got our pizza. On top of the horrible food our server never came to check on us. This location needs more menus, when we were seated by hostess she said they no longer had menus. 20 minutes pass, and no waitress or menu. Whoever manages or owns this place needs to know, for waitresses to better serve they need to have these basic things, or at least invest on table QR codes. Food is alright, bartender shouldn't leave early.. gives bad vibes. You work till everyone else works! And lastly this establishment should invest in another exit in the restaurant, when careless young women stand in between the tables and the only narrow hallway to the restroom it causes a nuisance. We went here after apple picking at Los Rios Rancho. It's a really nice place in a great location where you can also visit other fun things to do in their plaza, such as axe throwing, take a camel ride, feed some animals, or slide down the mountain. They're located right next to the mountain slide, so it's fun to watch people go down the hill. Overall, we liked coming here. The service was nice, it was in a good location, and there were a lot of things to do for kids, such as play an oversized Connect 4, oversized Jenga, or throw some Cornhole. The only downside is that the food was pretty mediocre, but in all honesty, the selection of food overall in that area is pretty limited, so our expectations weren't super high. Also, at least the prices were pretty fair considering how much food you got. Also, it did take over an hour to get our food. They said they were short staffed in the kitchen, but long wait times seems pretty normal at this restaurant from looking at other Yelp reviews. Nonetheless, the servers were really nice and they seemed apologetic that the food was taking so long. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you're in the area and want a fun place to go with kids, this place shouldn't disappointment. But be ready to wait for your food and also have a hard time finding parking since parking is pretty limited. read more

I love this place. I just wish the wait for food and drinks wasn't so long. That should have earned them 3 stars but the service was just too friendly and my drink too awesome so they got 4 haha. I had the Bourbon Basil-ade which was so good and strong that by my second one I couldn't even taste the alcohol and everything made me happy. I also had the beef barbacoa tacos which were pretty tasty - they used small flour tortillas I think which I normally don't like but worked well. Long story short , this place sucked. The service was not the best, we were forgotten about multiple times and our orders were mixed up with other tables. Our table ordered 4 tacos, a salad, and a quesadilla. The salad came out first and the chicken was clearly from a can as it was cold and rubbery and lacked any flavor at all. The rest of the food was extremely low quality. This seems like a place you would only go to for drinks. Worse than McDonald's at least they cook the food. The bathrooms also were not maintained well and the trash can was a cardboard box on the floor. When we arrived there was standing room only. We picked a very busy time to go, I guess. The inside isn't very big so they pack in the people. They have a food menu and a full bar to choose from. They were showing the same soccer game on all of the televisions. And they were raffling off some prizes after the game. If you're into soccer, they have a fun and friendly atmosphere to watch the game there. For price reference, we ordered 4 bottles of domestic beer and the total came to $27 dollars and some change. read more

After taking a hike- we decided to give the Common Ground a try. The weather was perfect for dining outside. The restaurant is a little confusing and would be helpful if there was a greeter to explain how it works. They had a made to order taco/waffle bar that you order from like fast food. But they also had pizza you order from a server and it gets delivered. You pay separately depending on what you order. Once we figured it out -we ordered food from the taco bar as well as a pizza. The nachos were packed with ingredients and were large enough to share. But the Hawaiian pizza was outstanding! One of the best pizzas I've had in a while. The servers were all very friendly. Overall I would give it 4 stars and try it again when I am back in the area. BTW- they do have what appears to be a full bar as well. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We visited this place with our family and after signing in, we waited 50 minutes for a table. We were seated outside, which was fine until bees started swarming our table. It took about 15 minutes for our waitress to arrive, and by then, we were ready to order. We asked for two cokes, a sprite, water, and an apple cider. The sodas arrived in about five minutes, but we had to remind her about the water and cider, which took another ten minutes. When our food finally came, we noticed one pizza was missing. The waitress assured us it was on the way, but it never showed up, and she didn't check on us at all. We had to get up for refills and ended up sharing food with the person who ordered the pizza. When it was time for the bill, we had to ask them to remove the pizza we never received. To top it all off, we all ended up feeling sick afterward! The food was not good at all. Pizza was great, a little greasy, but still really tasty. We ordered 2 pizzas to split amongst four of us and still had a few slices leftover. We also ordered an Apple Sunrise which was very sweet and appley, which I really enjoyed! The service was good and the staff was kind. They have a few TV's inside at the bar and even turned on a specific game when we asked. The tables outside offered umbrellas for the sun and heaters for the cold. They have live music on Saturday and Sunday which sets a nice vibe. It's also a perfect spot to watch your kiddos go down the giant tubing slide ($35 for an hour of unlimited sliding). Only thing worth noting is that they are cashless. We are looking forward to visiting again during apple picking season! read more

I don't review places often but needed to for this restaurant. My friends and I were there for the Oaktoberfest celebration. So we knew finding tables and waiting would take some time. The service was terrible. We were there over an hour before a waitress finally came by. We ordered our food and drinks. Lucky me, the one who is deathly afraid of spiders, found a huge disgusting spider in my drink. After sending the drink back there were no apologies, nothing offered to be taken off our bill, nothing but some attitude like I was making it up. Um, you can see it in the drink. If there are spiders in their drinks, God only knows what is in their food! Needless to say I lost my appetite. My friends and I will never come back. It could have been such a great hang out place. Had a very relaxing evening with my husband at Common Ground. The staff is friendly, fast and the drinks were great. We received complimentary chips and salsa as well as a sample of pizza. They have both ample indoor and outdoor seating, heat lamps for the chilly evening and umbrellas for the daytime. The Indoor decor is modern with a hipster twist. Positive signs decorate the walls and ceiling. I had the premium drink Apple Sunrise and my husband had his usual rum & Diet Coke, both were equally delicious and strong! We recommend! We went in a weekday and were told that the bar has only been opened for about four months and gets busy on the weekends we will definitely be back on a weekend to enjoy the bar with others. There were 3 servers working the outside area and not one made eye contact, bothered to bring us water, or let us know that they would shortly come over to take our order. This place was a gem! We came for the caramel apple mudslide drink and it did not disappoint! It tastes like caramel apple cider. Included pics of the menu because I haven't seen any anywhere! The nachos were great, the people I was with ordered the spicy chicken sliders which had apple slices on top with a brioche bun that paired so well! We also got the pepperoni pizza and the balsamic pizza, both yummy! Their drinks were the highlight of our visit and we will definitely be coming back to this place for some good fall drinks! read more

Food was good but the service was confusing. It's seat yourself. Then you wait 20 minutes for a menu, then finally go chase someone at the bar to get a menu. My family & I went up to visit Oak tree mountain & found a hidden gem called Common Ground Pub. We had an amazing experience starting with our waitress Crystal. She was so attentive, patient, & just overall awesome with our group. On top of the exceptional service, the tacos & drinks were delicious. It was our first time there so Crystal suggested to check out the ax throwing, petting zoo and the candy store. My kids loved the huge slide as a bonus to their day. Review on Service @ the bar. Waited for 30-40 mins to get served. Bartender stated food would take 1 to 1.5hrs, so we opted not to get any. Only reason we stayed was because the lines anywhere were just as long for drinks. Bartender stated she needed to catch up on tickets. When she did she still didn't serve us but kept chatting with the other workers. It wasn't just us not getting serviced but the lot of us all sitting at the bar. She kept stating ill get to you guys. Then more tickets came and she kept doing tickets instead of helping us. Mind you the servers aren't even coming to pick up these drinks from the bar and drinks are piling up for the servers to deliver. Stumbled across this amazing place yesterday. They have a cute little patio area with a view of a huge slide for the kids to go down. The weather was perfect. You also have a view of the petting zoo and another huge slide they have for kids. The pizza was amazing. Even had a peacock visit us. We are definitely planning another trip! read more
