This venue is well equipped for a rustic/barn style wedding at an extremely reasonable price in comparison to some of the other venues. This venue is a DIY venue, so you will have to supply our own vendors if you choose this one, but that just makes it more memorable, right? They've got several places where you can choose your ceremony and or reception at, tons of photo-ops, a bride and groom suite to get ready (the bridal suite is pretty big I might add), and some tables for you if you choose to use theirs. This place is strictly a no-smoking facility, so if that's a dealbreaker for you, look elsewhere. But nevertheless, we really thought this place was cute for anyone with a smaller budget!

We parked in the dirt lot just beyond the entrance and followed the path to an upper grassy area that was set up for the wedding. There was an arch for the bride and groom to stand beneath with spectacular mountain views behind them. After the ceremony we were directed up the hill, then down a flight of concrete stairs to a lower yard. There was an in-ground swimming pool with an attached hot tub. The pool was old enough that it had a diving board. The water in the pool was blue, but the hot tub was rust colored. It looked as though that pool hadn't been used in quite some time and needed some TLC. Just beyond the pool was a lawn where the cocktail hour was held for guests as the wedding party was having photos taken. No chairs, just a few tables to stand at and set your drink down. They also provided an archway with beautiful views behind it for photo-ops. When the cocktail hour ended, we were led down yet another dirt path to a very large grassy area where the reception was held. (It was where the bathrooms were too). Plenty of room for tables and chairs. On one end was a large dancefloor. Strings of patio lights provided subtle lighting and the views were fantastic. The pathways, staircase and grass areas were, at times, a bit precarious, especially for those wearing heels. The road to the venue is a couple of miles of two-lane, winding curves off of highway 76. Cel service is sketchy - People with Verizon as their carrier seemed to have pretty good service. If you plan to Uber/Lyft out, book in advance. If you are looking for an outdoor venue for your wedding, I would reccommend that you consider Secluded Garden Estates. Pala Casino Spa Resort is a short three-mile drive and a convenient place for guests to stay.

The property itself is absolutely stunning--the botanical beauty of the grounds, the lush florals, the charming cottages, and the peaceful atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Everywhere you looked felt like a dream. A huge and heartfelt thank you to our coordinator, Jules. She was nothing short of amazing. Her attention to detail, calm presence, organization, and genuine care made the entire planning process and wedding day completely stress-free. She anticipated needs before we even realized them, kept everything running seamlessly, and made us feel supported every step of the way. Every bride deserves a Jules! I also have to give special recognition to Meg from The Creative Corner Shop. The florals were beyond breathtaking. She perfectly captured our vision and transformed the venue into something even more magical than we imagined. Every arrangement was stunning, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. The staff at Temecula Creek Cottages were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to both us and our guests. The property was immaculate, the cottages were comfortable and beautifully maintained, and every interaction we had with the team was positive. Our wedding day was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined, and that's because of the incredible people who made it happen. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty, the serenity, and the undeniable charm that this property radiates from every corner. The grounds are stunningly beautiful--lush, thoughtfully maintained landscaping, picturesque pathways, and a sense of privacy that makes you feel as though you've stepped into your own hidden oasis. It offered the perfect blend of elegance and rustic romance, giving us the intimate atmosphere we were hoping for without sacrificing refinement or comfort. The scenery created the most breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony and photos; every angle felt like a magazine cover. The cottages themselves were absolutely perfect. Each one was cozy, comfortable, and full of character, creating an environment that truly enhanced the magic of the weekend. They gave us and our loved ones that "wedding retreat" feeling--quaint, warm, and incredibly special. Waking up on the property on our wedding day felt peaceful, grounding, and unforgettable. But beyond the beauty of the venue, what truly elevated our entire experience was working with Julie Edwards, owner of Simply Regal. Julie is, without exaggeration, the greatest wedding planner we have ever come across. Her talent, professionalism, and dedication are genuinely unmatched. From the very beginning, she approached our wedding with a level of care and creativity that was absolutely mind-blowing. Julie has an extraordinary ability to take your vision--even when it's not fully formed--and bring it to life in ways you didn't even realize were possible. She thinks of every detail, big and small, and executes with a level of precision and grace that made the entire day flow flawlessly. Her organization, her calm presence, and her intuitive understanding of what a couple needs (often before they even know themselves) transformed our wedding day into something truly spectacular. It wasn't just that she planned a wedding--it's that she crafted an experience. Every moment felt intentional, personal, and seamless. We felt supported, cared for, and genuinely understood throughout the entire process. Julie has a gift, and we are so grateful we got to benefit from it. If you're considering Temecula Creek Cottages for your wedding, do it. The venue is magical. And if you have the chance to work with Julie from Simply Regal, don't hesitate--she will elevate your day beyond anything you could imagine. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we owe so much of that to this venue and to Julie Edwards. They helped create memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

It's…read moreabsolutely beautiful, the food and drinks were fantastic, and I wouldn't make a different decision about the venue. Some highlights: - The Stone House as a venue is beautiful. There was plenty of space for 150 people, and it felt like the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner were all slightly separated despite being in the same spot. We appreciated the convenience of staying in the same location while also having the experience of moving guests around. - The Stone House is not accessible by foot or private vehicle. It was incredibly private, and we were able to control when guests arrived. No one was able to get there super early, which helped with the schedule. The shuttling was also very easy. - We loved creating our signature cocktails with the mixologist Eric. He's super knowledgeable and it was so much fun. We came up with 3 perfect cocktails. - The food was great, and I never like wedding food. It was hot! The tasting was also really fun, we liked meeting vendors and the other couples getting married there. - The Creekside House was a huge plus. We used it to get ready. I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 groomswomen and 3 mothers all getting ready there. It never felt crowded. We also did our Sunday farewell brunch there. There was plenty of parking and lots of space inside and outside. We had music on while we got ready and a football game Sunday. We also had a couple bridesmaids and a few guests stay there, which was great. - I loved Devon. She was super friendly, really great at explaining all sorts of information when I first viewed the venue, and overall very helpful. We had a small hiccup with a suite for the getting ready space. She called me, we talked it out and she came up with the idea for the Creekside House, which was better than the suite anyway. - Every in-person interaction I had with any staff member was always positive. Checking in was easy and we were able to get into the house early. Everyone was always kind and attentive. - The property is beautiful and we used a lot of it. We did our rehearsal on the oasis lawn, which was a good size. We did our welcome reception on the patio beneath the Corkfire grill (including glow ball which was so fun), took photos at the Meadows and a few guests golfed. It was great as an all-in-one venue. - Our bridal suite was beautiful, we really loved it. There was a bottle of champagne, a cookie and a cute little note when we arrived. They gifted us a very soft blanket. Some Challenges: - There was a lot of nickel and diming. We needed an extra microphone for our ceremony vocalist. That was an additional charge ($130). We needed an extra cord, that was a charge. etc. I get that those things are usually rented for a fee. We paid around $50,000. You'd think they could just let us use the mic. - I don't feel like the amount everything would cost was accurately explained prior to us signing. Maybe that's on me and my understanding, which is why I didn't choose 4 stars. My advice would just be to really try to get clarity about what it's all going to cost. - It was pretty cold that night. To be clear, this is not the venue's fault, just something to consider. The ground also gets very slick and would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, we are so happy we got married at TCI. We can't wait to visit in the future and remember our beautiful wedding.

The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response which was extremely frustrating. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. Thank you to everyone who helped create our magical day sorry if I was a stressed wreck initially but you guys definitely delivered and made me look good because like I said I can't plan anything accordingly. To see how great it turned out you guys definitely know how to make everything feel perfect. 12.2.21

It is easy to find and appealing inside. However, it was often tense Coordinating a Wedding with them. Trusting their decorating taste we were recommended and went with their food caterer. When we decided not to go with their Caterer it was a hassle, eventually that led to items being removed from our wedding. What is worse is that my Mother Law was dissed subtly on the owner's social media as Loud and lying about disliking the food. Amongst all the Wedding anticipation we did not come to sign a finalized agreement until several weeks before our wedding. It was hard to reach the owner to voice dislikes directly with them. Our contract mentioned when our last payments should be, and we were just reminded well over a week later. When asked why we could not be reminded sooner, we were told more or less " they do not have time to remind everyone." Thankfully this was resolved, but not without telling us "You people are difficult" and threatening to end our event. Of course hearing that about a week and half before the event was a lot, even getting to the point of wanting our money returned back. In our last days things remained professional and our wedding was beautiful, and the staff helped things go smoothly. We just wish it stayed like our first encounters, the owner is a Spiritual person, was easily accessible, and has good taste and that is what excited us about them doing our wedding. I hope in the future you can maintain that beginning, middle, and end. I could see how other reviews could be higher if they did not experience the same customer service, but this was our experience.
