Surprisingly, I was amazed walking out feeling that pain melting away. I haven't felt this much stress relief in quite a while (7+ months). I should have come here right after my surgery as a part of my physical therapy. Nevertheless, you live and learn, right... I do highly recommend this place to anyone experiencing joint/muscle pain and come here immediately after surgery for physical therapy. The physical therapists here are really helpful and sweet, they work with you to overcome your issues that you may be having. The tasks that I had to do was to strength my leg muscles and I worked with one main physical therapist, it was a guy and every day I would have to use this leg press bench and boy was them weights heavy at the time, but they worked to help my leg heal over time. It wasn't a piece of cake at first, but as I progressed towards being able to move, I soon saw results. Now, I don't feel no pain after my terrible accident. Just left with two scars and even have my two titanium rods.

I got a pretty decent impression during my initial visit that Innova has at least one decent…read moredoctor. Unfortunately, in order to get to said doctor, I have to get past the absolute buffoon who passes for a receptionist. Nothing makes a visit to the doctor worse than an apathetic moron with no interest in doing her job being the first person you encounter. I was supposed to get some X-Rays and was told that it would be set up with Memorial Herman and that I would get a call to make the appointment. I never got the call. Before my next scheduled appointment with Innova, and the eggplant behind the front desk, I called to cancel because I hadn't gotten the X-ray yet. Apparently this blew her mind becasue all she wanted to do was reschedule rather that fixing the X-ray issue. Then suddenly she abruptly ended the conversation by transferring me to a nurse's voicemail where I left a message. While waiting for the call to be returned I called the front desk to verify that my upcoming appointment was canceled because I never got the indication that she even cared about the call at all. She never answered me again. The nurse called me back and was actually helpful and supposedly fixed all off my issues including the cancelation of the appointment that the moron up front could not be bothered to handle. Oh yeah, apparently the X-rays are walk-in.... Two days later I took off of work and went to get the imaging done and OF COURSE they had no record of me. So nothing was fixed.... I went back to Innova to ask my favorite potato what had happened. I guess I interrupted her coffee break because it took her a couple of minutes to get back to her desk at which time I told her the problem and asked for an explanation. With barely a word she went to look at my chart and came back with the printed order for imaging but no explanation. No apology. No indication that she gave a damn whatsoever that so much of my time was wasted due to mastakes on Innova's end. Can you guess why? It's because medical institutions do not consider us customers. It's because their negligent management does not require that they act professionally. My treatment by Innova has shown me that they do not take my care as seriously as I do and will not be returning. If they are willing to hire someone as low quality as the first representative I encountered, I can only assume that pursuing care with Innuva would not only be a huge waste of money and time but also potentialy harmful to my health. I will make it my personal mission in life to dissuade every person I can from doing business there.

I needed to reschedule my follow up. Yolanda Cano cancelled my appointment, but after emailing three times, she basically quit responding. I called and left messages over and over, but the office never got back with me. It is sickening really to know that the office provides such poor customer service and patient support.

So i went and was prescribed a med that didnt work. Went back for follow up. Said that didn't work.. We discussed my continued follow up with my ortho. But nothing for pain. Just sent home with no treatment plan, no follow-up.. Nothing. So what do i do now.. Go find another pain management and say I have an orthopedist to fix the orthopedic problem but I have to have you fix the pain problem. ​I mean I don't understand where to go from here. ​I was with my last pain management for 15 years before they moved to a location further from me. So this is brand new for me to start new with the doctor and they're not getting my concerns. I guess. So I don't think I'm going to be able to return because nothing is happening here there's no plan . I'm just paying money to go in there and tell him what my orthopedist is doing and I'm getting nothing back from them. ​​​​​​​​​​

He has explained  in great depth what my condition is so that I can understand. I have something called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.  I have never heard of this, so he has educated me on it a lot. He does not give you false hope. If it's a 50/50 chance he lets you know. When it comes to blocks. He's not a pill pusher. I like that about him. He does try procedures first.  He takes all the time you need with him until you understand the procedures and process of how he's going to treat you. You will not find a better Dr. The office staff is extremely nice and helpful. Everyone always says hi and ask how  I'm doing or if I need anything I would definitely recommend Dr Garcia if you have any kind of pain. He genuinely cares for his patients.
