I came to watch a movie with my family. Upon walking in, the cashier smelled like marijuana and was very slow to operate !! The food took forever to arrive and when it did, it was cold and honestly disgusting. When I asked for a refund, the manager was completely rude and smelled of alcohol. She had completely no decorum and it was embarrassing to watch. Employees seemed miserable and jumpy, if you want to support a business that looks like it gives a fuck about its employees and about the customer experience, do not go here !! People with children can buy alcohol in Texas. She flipped me off. I called management. They did they'd take care of it but I haven't heard back. We ended up not staying for the movie. First time going here, We got tickets for the Bob's Burgers opening. When we walked in we were greeted by a manager Patrick who was very personable and informative. We had mentioned it was our first time and he gave us a rundown of what the building holds like a VR system, ax throwing, arcade and movie theater. He also walked us over to the bar where we were able to order Dinner meals to be delivered to our chairs. The bartender was fun and knowledgeable. One thing I would recommend for the building itself is that it installs call buttons to the chairs so you can order right from the chair. About halfway through the movie I was done with my drink and I wanted another but I was not going to leave the theater in the middle of the movie. Overall it was a great experience my husband and I will be back in about two weeks to watch Jurassic Park. read more

Was looking for a place to play laser tag and found a cool one! Cinergy Entertainment has laser tag, a movie theatre, concession stand, and a not-too-shabby game area as well. For all the entertainment they offer, and considering the location, it's a fun place for sure. Be sure to wear close toed shoes or you'll have to sit out of laser tag (like one of my son's who is not pictured here...sad face emoji...he's 18 so I totally left him and went inside to play! ) We had a jam packed day and I only had 3 hours to spend there. In that time we played laser tag, saw a movie, got in some video games and even earned enough tickets to get lots of prizes! I would definitely go back. The theatre itself is nice but they refuse to take legal tender. Will not take cash at all. Teens and families using the theatre have to load money onto a gift card to purchase anything. So if you want their overpriced sofa, you have to load a gift card with a few dollars more and have random gift cards with random amounts to look after and lose. We now use another local theatre because we think it's un-American to refuse US dollars. read more

I'll start by saying that my previous visit was horrible however this experience was by far a better one. I brought my 82 year old mom to the movies and she needs help walking. We arrived for the movie and the line was long so I wanted to get my mom settled into her seat. I asked one of the staff members if they could please assist my mom to her seat while I got items from the concession stand. Now this is where they won me over - the young man who helped her to her seat was patient and helpful. She had to stop a few times to catch her breath and he told her to take her time. He helped her all the way to her seat, not just pointed its over there. When it was time for us to leave the theater, we waited for everyone else to leave so she wouldn't be in anyone's way. However another staff member told her to wait so he could turn the lights on so she could see better. It's little things like this that keep people coming back. So why not 5 stars? Well that food I ordered from the concessions stand took almost 45 minutes to get to us and that's after I stopped a server to ask where our food was. The food was meh at best - we got the combo platter - too many fried pickles, not enough fries and the loaded part of the fries seemed to be missing. The chicken was way too spicy (my mom had a coughing spell in the middle of the movie) and when you have a bunch of finger foods the least they should do is bring some napkins. A huge improvement from last time, hopefully we can get the concession stand worked out before the next visit. read more

BEWARE - if you purchase alcohol it will be opened by the same person who is cash handling. In the past I was told to open it before leaving the register area. This time - an employee with long acrylic finger nails at the register opened the can with out our knowledge. Once I asked to speak to the manager and requested to open our own drink in her presence, she stated that per TABC laws the employee had to open it not the customer. So she proceeded to wash her hands and open a different one in from of us. Instead of giving us a refund like we would have preferred since having somebody else's fingers around the drinking hole grossed me out completely. Hidden behind Walmart and landscaped beautifully with yucca and palms, this entertainment spot should not be missed! One of my favorite spaces in Cove, it never disappoints. Today, I came to watch Aquaman, which I already know I will like! There was a bit of a wait to the first show and it's time for lunch, so I decided to buy time and order from their extensive menu of comfort food. I am on a restriction, and the order taker was humble enough to tell me that she was not knowledgeable enough to help me with my needs and asked me if I would like to speak with the Kitchen manager, Nina, who can answer my questions. I was impressed with the rapport between them and with me. They really paid attention. I ended up getting a salad we put together and added guacamole. It came to $11.99. It is expensive for what I got, but it was fresh and custom so it was a small price to pay for that experience, and I was happy about it! Another time I was told that the boneless wing plate is huge and I ordered it, and it is indeed huge! I still had leftovers. The chicken looked fresh and the batter was very thick and stays on each nugget well. They usually offer one sauce and ketchup for the fries, but I could decide and they insisted on me trying two, the teriyaki and the BBQ. They had a nice, thick consistency which stayed on the chicken, and the flavors were very rich. The showing today was in a small room, rows A-G. Already tickets were presold for the rows I typically take, and another sweet team member who had seen the movie already was happy to share her advice. And the lady who takes the tickets suggested where to take a photo. It came out nice! They allow you to eat in the party room as long as there is no party. You can sit next to the window and enjoy the view. The rooms and restrooms are clean. Refreshing! Everyone smiles as usual which makes for a great day. Come by and bring the family! Enjoy! read more

Yesterday I took my two little grandchildren to see a movie here I ordered food and bought 3 tickets and asked for 1 courtesy cup. We do not our allow them to have sugar or soda. I was told that they no longer give out courtesy cups and I would have to buy a bottled water .I had told them I just want it so I could put water in it from the water fountain and they told me it would cost five dollars for an empty cup! I asked to speak to the manager and he confirmed that if I wanted an empty cup, I would have to pay that fee. He stated that is why they have the water fountain I explained to him I have two young grandchildren who were standing right beside me, and that, if every time they wanted to have a drink of water, I had to get up and go to the water fountain. I would have to bring both of them because of their ages . I had just spent 45+ dollars on popcorn and tickets and was told that is their policy. I won't be back! read more

Patrick oversaw our evening from teaching us how to throw and managing the mini-games we played, to cheering us on and helping fuel the fun competitive vibe. We came here on labor day weekend and enjoyed playing games in the arcade before and after the movie. Nice atmosphere and the perfect volume daring the movie. We had family in town and we were struggling with trying to find things to do with them. We live in cove but have never gone to cinergy before. We made a reservation for axe throwing and we are so happy that we did. We plan to go back next weekend with friends!! Patrick was our leader and he was great!! The burger sliders gave me food poisoning so that kinda sucked, the chairs were comfy and the space was welcoming and enjoyable, but if you go I would not recommend getting any of their delivery meals just get popcorn and your drink Update- I like to be fair so that's why I am updating this review, the customer service is actually fantastic. The reach out to me and even called me personally and that shows that they really truly do care. Me and my wife will definitely visit again because I don't feel as though this experience is something that happens often and might have just been a mistake that night. Customer service is amazing! Christian, the Concessions Manager obviously leads by example. Not only was he incredibly friendly, he really exuded what amazing customer service should look like. My husband had a free birthday ticket that he didn't know about and we already bought our tickets online. He told us about it and we said it's ok, we already bought our tickets. He went a step ahead and refunded a ticket without us even asking so that my husband could use the free ticket (the free ticket was expiring today). This movie theater is amazing. Beyond the fact that you can order food and have it brought to your seat, they always seem to go above and beyond. They are active in the local community which is something I admire. They also do special things for kids. One year it rained on Halloween and we took our kids to see a movie. Because the kids were in costume they gave our kids free popcorn and a drink. I still haven't forgotten that. For big movie releases they tend to make those moments special too like when one of the new star wars came out they had the local comic con people there dressed up so you could get photos taken with the characters from the film. They also have beer and wine. Thirsty Thursdays, alcohol is half price. Your order your food and tickets and pay at the concession stand. They give you a pager to bring with you into the theatre. When your food is ready, staff brings it into your theatre at a large counter. Your pager goes off, you show your receipt and enjoy your food while you watch. Clean, floors are not sticky! YAY! Restrooms were clean. Food was decent, the place is packed but not overwhelmingly crowded. 2 movie tickets, mini ribs and fries, fish tacos and fries and a large drink was 34.00 bucks. A great deal compared to the 15.00 ticket alone back in Los Angeles. read more
