I just don't get to visit The Old Polish Corner often enough. But when I do, I love it! This night we ordered all the specials. The Kielbasa Dip left us wanting to know if we could order it to-go in Costco-sized containers. A delicious cream-based dip with the distinctive flavor of kielbasa and secret seasonings that paired perfectly with the variety of crackers they served. Polish Carbonara.... well, it looked so good I dug in for a taste before getting a picture. Sorry. The sauce is out of this world! And the crispy slices of kielbasa on top are addictive like bacon. Eggnog Bread Pudding. You would think we'd be sufficiently stuffed by now to not act like starving swine, but no. Again, sorry, no picture. Words will have to suffice. Spoons didn't stop flying until the bowl was empty. The bread pudding was perfectly tender and slightly sweet. The eggnog was reduced to a sauce, but not too sweet. A roaring fireplace, a bear rug, and a quart of this egg nog sauce and you might not see me for a week. Service here is consistently great. Quaint restaurant & bar, with a warm ambience, perfect for a date night, girls lunch or a small group celebration. Cushioned chairs and bar stools, which I love. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, seated and given menus likity split. Nice craft beer and cocktails menus, a huge plus. But food was the standout for us. Though it is not a big menu, the offering all looked delicious. On a very cold day, we started with coffee, which was very good, no weak brown crayon swirled stuff. Ordered both the Fried Dill Pickles and the Dill Pickle Fried Cheese Curds appetizers. Both were yummy, but those Fried Dill Pickle Spears were our favs, with a little spicy kick, right at our heat tolerance limit. Next we had the Golabki loaf, which was a deconstructed stuffed cabbage. Very good as well. We ordered the kielbasa dip to go, since it seems like a must try, but haven't had it yet. Will update after we dig in later today. Outstanding service from the most intuitive server ever made our visit a true five star event. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. read more

We chose this restaurant for dinner before going to a show. Disappointed the menu did not include some of our Polish favs such as city chicken or Potato Pancakes. The restaurant was half full when we got there. We ordered quickly. After an hour and fifteen minutes, we still did not have our food and had to get it to go, and put in the car to still make our show. Drinks were good, especially the pickle martini! Not sure if the problem was with the servers or the kitchen staff. We ended up eating our meals today for lunch. Portions were large. My "deconstructed cabbage rolls" were good, however the tomato sauce tasted like tomato paste straight out of the can. My husband said his tasted like an overdone tough spicy pork chop. We won't be back until potato pancakes are on the menu, and we have no plans afterward. read more

Dill pickle do was phenomenal. I would eat that on everything. Took extra home. Dill pickle soup was sooooooo good. A definite must. I had the Kielbasa and noodles with broth. Superior. Their warm bread was fresh, slightly crispy on the outside and so delicious. Eat it with their butter or the Dill pickle dip. We had the pierogi and kielbasa dog that were both good. The only slight improvement I would make is more cheese or a sharper cheese in the pierogi. I will definitely go again. read more

We came about 15 minutes before opening and the gentleman told us we needed to wait till opening. I did look over the menu and returned at opening. Server was friendly and attentive. We ordered and it took an exceptionally long time to receive our meals. There was only one table before us and they took forever also to get food. We were told that the place used to be a bar so the grill is small and it takes awhile to get food out. But this actually is longer than I expected. Over an hour and forty five minutes to get our meal of a brat and a chicken schnitzel. Don't go in starving because you will get frustrated waiting so long. We were told they are going to add on to make a bigger kitchen. We won't return till then. Way, way too long for food. Totally unacceptable no matter how good the food might be . The server was attentive and friendly. The fresh baked bread for starters was delicious. The chicken schnitzel was made fresh and was also delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. Highly recommended! The restaurant is located in an older building but the inside is done up very nice. read more

AMAZING ALL AROUND. I've been here once before for a pre-wedding lunch and had a wonderful experience then. This time was no different we had our same server and shes just so sweet! She remembered me from last time. Great food, great employees. Beautiful cups too! Our server was bringing our food out and you could see the steam rolling off the food. (I've never had polish food other than here and the smells alone made me fall in love.) Very nicely put together reasturant. Clean, charming and peaceful. The waitstaff did a great job for a busy friday night she and him worked together and made our experience fun and very inviting. She also helped us find local things to do in our spare time while in town. The sunset was beautiful for the location you gave us, thank you if you see that hidden gem of a spot! The happy hour drinks were wonderful. The desert was very good, not very many places offer creme brulee. Will be back again when I come back to town. read more

Suggestion: please add some kind of blind/shade to it as the evening sun coming in was very hot & blinding. Our food was ok. My husband & I had the Polish sausage dish. Can't comment on the food. Never got it. Arrived around 5:30 pm. On Friday. 05/24/24, Give or take 5 minutes. 4 other parties in the establishment, Our waitress was friendly. It ends there. After placing our order. ( just me and my son), the wait begins. About 10 minutes in we were given an awesome dinner roll each and butter. Nice! As our water glasses keep getting refilled. The place isn't crowded. Like I said, a total of 5 parties. Party of 4 being the largest. 3 waitresses for the 5 parties. Again, by no means busy or hectic in any way. I ordered the special my son order a basic numbered item on the menu. ( nothing added, nothing removed, no special anything on our order). After an hour and 15 minutes our waitress surfaced, ( after staying in back most of this time ). She came to tell us the chef said our order with be out in 5 minutes. 30 minutes after that, we walked out without being served. I did leave money to pay for it. I got the feeling this place's focus is geared more to being a bar that happens to serve food, and not a restaurant equipped with a bar. read more

The Ambiance was great, the service was friendly. The food did take some time to get to table, but sometimes good food takes time. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant, there was 1 table of 8 . After waiting for over 1 hour and 45 minutes without receiving food we finally left. We did not receive a bill for the soft drinks or beer so we left $50 on the table. We did left the man at the bar know we were leaving, he didn't apologize or say anything . If this is the type of service they offer then this restaurant will not be in business for long. read more

We tried this restaurant yesterday for my Dad's birthday and I gave it 4 stars for the food, service, and decor. Unfortunately, we WON'T eat there again ( at least in person) because they have the most uncomfortable chairs. It's a shame because they've done a great job with everything except for considering the comfort of their patrons. They have small wood chairs with a rounded metal back that is too narrow to sit back in. We left there with butt and back pain. They also have mostly high top chairs and tables in a city mostly populated by older adults. If they can install some comfortable seating, we'll go back. read more

One other table had food, looking around no one else did (16 or so people excluding myself). In my estimation an hour went by with no food coming out of the kitchen.
