Tasty food and good selection of options. We sat outside and it was the perfect Saturday night. Our server Day was great - attentive, friendly, and on the ball!

The food was fresh and very tasty. I had the taco trio with rice and beans. The waiter was attentive but not pushy. They had indoor and outdoor seating.

We came twice during our week stay. Once we sat inside at bar watched football and ate. Lots of TVs and selection of football . Second time we came for dinner and sat outside. Service was good. Food was delicious. Husband and I shared steak fajitas plenty for us to share. My brother and his wife had tacos and a burrito both were good.

We were staying at The Wigwag Resort across the street! Our "own" gated entry to leave the resort, walk across the street to the choice of restaurants and we found ourselves at the Old Pueblo EVERY DAY! Loved, Loved the outdoor seating! (October) Food was fast to order, service was nice, great communication and affordable items made it easy for repeat visits! **Note** the restaurant is not overly advertised with signage. We found, walking in, seating ourselves happened because of lack of signage. Had lunch and dinner there four times in five days!

Great dinner ! We ordered the shrimp ceviche, enchilada dinner and the Mexican flag enchiladas. The portions are huge both dishes were delicious and filling. The atmosphere and the service is always great here. If you're looking for good Mexican food try this place ! The Mexican flag enchiladas are a must try!

Chips & salsa. Pretty basic but decent.

Mexican isn't my favorite but our friends rave about this place so we met them for dinner. Service was great in the bar. Grabbed a table straight away on a Friday night and loved the atmosphere. Great tasting water, chips & salsa were fresh and salsa was hot! Unfortunately my blackened fish tacos lacked all flavor and they added so much crème, it was hard to taste anything else. Black beans and rice were fine but overall, I do not recommend. Hubby ordered the steak & chicken fajitas which were better but still average.

Stopped in on 6/24 for an early dinner. We ordered 3 reg entrees & 1 kids meal. This place is always our spot for a good meal. We were the only table at arrival but then it filled in a bit. Our server was great but at times was away taking care of other guests all over the restaurant. Waited a while on a 2nd drink and then for the check. The fish tacos were good but I could tell it was a tad overcooked, it had a burned oil taste. My husband's tacos were good, he ate it all & my daughters fried tacos were good. The only thing missing was the chocolates we ised to at the end. Not sure if they stopped giving them out. Would have ordered dessert but there was too much time waiting around for our server to come back, maybe next time. Still our favorite spot.

Kinda all around decent. We sat on the bar side. Kind of seemed like one woman was working the whole side, so big props to her, but it did mean service was super slow (both ordering and getting drinks). Food was fine. Pretty standard. Atmosphere for the bar side was lively. Lots of people and TVs and stuff. Drinks were okay, margaritas were pretty sweet. Only able to order one drink on our visit, though, due to the server being super busy. Solid all around but nothing super special.

Stopped in while on a staycation at the Wigwam. Petition sizes were plentiful for the price point. A tried my friend's spinach enchiladas and they were one of my favorite I've had! I opted for the chicken fajitas and they came out steamy and sizzling-- as they should be! A great go to spot! I recommend taking advantage of patio weather and enjoying the street view lined with palm trees!

Hello my friends, Jen & I traveled to the West side of the valley from Gilbert to visit my daughter in law Kylene, after a good visit with her we decided to go and have a bite to eat The Old Pueblo Cafe was our decision so off we went, upon arrival the appearance of The Old Pueblo looked very nice outside & inside it's not the size of a full restaurant but still very nice & cozy, the inside is nicely done with its decor, we were greeted and seated upon entering with a very friendly staff member, as I was sitting there I like to look around to see what others have ordered ( I'm a visual person) to get an idea of what I might like, we all three ordered something a little different. It didn't take long for our dishes to be served and we started right in. I was very happy with my choice as well as Jen & Kylene, I am a Big Spanish Rice eater so that was my first to try have to say it was one of the best tasting I've had in a long time, it had flavor and it was fluffy, overall we all enjoyed our meals, I would suggest you give this place a try and hope you have a great experience as we did, Thanks Kylene for suggesting The Old Pueblo Cafe. Until next time Audios.

We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here. If you want good brunch and especially good chilaquiles go to Park Cafe not too far from this place they have the best I've had so far in the area.

Yes, Yes, Yes! Today, my husband said let's try this place…read more I said ok! As we got closer, I realized I've been in the area several times. I have never ate at any of rhe places though. You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious.
