    Quesadilla with Chicken
    Tisha R.

The food is delicious. I ordered the quesadillas with chicken. It was filling but I didn't leave stuffed. We were seated upon arrival and drink orders were taken. The kind server came back within a reasonable time to take our food order. It was a good first experience. The restroom was decent. The restaurant wasn't crowded.

Headed to Cali for a football game and came here for breakfast. The chilaquiles, red, were awesome, probably the best I have had yet. The refried beans were very good. My wife had the chorizo and eggs and enjoyed them. The prices are extremely reasonable for the good quality food you get. We were just here 2 days ago for dinner and this will be our New Mexican food hangout

Molcajete was so delicious definitely recommend if you want a little buffet for one lol!

Casa de Leyva we will be back !! The staff were so nice and we even got to meet the chef to let him know how great his menu and food is! It was truly delicious and great to see such authentic dishes on the menu!! If your looking for a great Mexican restaurant go to casa de Leyva it's so cute inside as well

We have came here a few times since our first visit and every time we have absolutely loved our food and service, for dinner or brunch this place is so wonderful. My picky 1.5 year old loved his food so much he even licked his plate when he was done. We bring family here when they come to Arizona to show them this place because it's our new favorite place to eat and it's never too busy. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

Our family is pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. This is definitely AUTHENTIC Mexican food. I was a big fan of the chicken mole. My MIL was a fan of their Menudo. Will definitely come back with the family. The vibe was great with current music and a beautifully designed dining room. Service was also great

I asked for a tall Modelo and I got what I asked for, this tall and extra-wide; so wide it had three limes.

Main Street Buckeye is a place out of time and Casa de Leyva fits right in. It's authentic, feels like it's been waiting for you a hundred years. You step on the dirt parking lot, enter through the back, and before you pull open the rough hacienda style doors, you're already living the experience. If you sit at the rustic wood-plank bar, ask for a tall beer and crunch on their tortilla chips while they pour you a massive drink. Despite the feel, they're new, so we'll see how they do in real time, but if you're looking for a unique experience, it's worth stepping off the concrete malls in the suburb.

The business is under new owners with a new menu. They have just opened, and have some kinks to work out. Service was great with our waitress, but there were just 2 waitresses and the place was pretty busy at lunchtime. I'm hoping in time, that they consider doing some lunch specials. That would be my only "complaint". We have very few sit down places for lunch in Old Town, but it was almost $50 for 2 meals and 2 sodas, as they were dinner portions. I'm excited to try it out in a few more weeks and hopefully see some lunch portions.

    Taco trio

Stopped in for lunch and wow- what an experience! Tacos were overflowing with juicy, perfectly seasoned meats - not just a sprinkle but absolutely packed. Every bite was full of flavor and satisfaction. I didn't try it this time, but they offer all-you-can-eat Taco Tuesday for just $19.99. Definitely coming back for that! If you love tacos done right, put this spot on the top of your list!

The 4 star rating is only because the morning breakfast crowd ate all of the menudo; otherwise a 5 star is warranted. My party of 2 arrived near noon but breakfast was still being served. We ordered potato taquitos appetizer which is served with guacamole on a bed of lettuce. Tasty but I would prefer more seasoning on the potatoes. My wife had the pozole with beef And served with corn or flour tortillas. Beware: the soup is served in a huge bowl. The broth is a bit spicy and very flavorful. The meat was flavorful and tender and they didn't skimp on the amount given. I had beef chilaquiles with green salsa and 2 eggs. The steak was a good sized portion and perfectly cooked for my taste. The flavor was wonderful. The service was great; our server was friendly and attentive. We also spoke to the owners who were very friendly and gave us a brief history of the restaurant. The ambiance is what I would describe as rustic with a large open space for seating and I high ceiling. There is also a bar for those who want to have a drink as you wait for your table. All in all we enjoyed our meals and the experience.

Food was horrible. Salsa had no flavor and the chips had a weird taste. They messed up our orders we ordered a wet burrito with green sauce and green enchiladas they brought both dishes with red sauce and I ordered steak fajitas and the steak was bloody raw. I sent those back and got chile rellanos which were rubbery and not even fried. On top of that it was extremely pricey. Needless to say we will not be going back there again. I'll stick with la fiesta

enchiladas were yummy but $20 total to sub cheese. I felt ripped off.

You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. The carne asada is juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how it should be. The verde sauce was a revelation--a pure adrenaline rush straight to green-painted Flavor Town.
