I hate to leave this kind of review, but today's visit was very disappointing. The first few times I ever ate here I did really love the food and service. But each time I come it's like the service gets slower. First off, I ordered a spicy Michelada, and it took forever to be served. After I ordered the drink, I noticed a person who came in after us ordered a corona and was served before my Michelada was ever started. I had to remind the server two or three times. Meanwhile, everyone else in my party had already received their soda. Once my Michelada was brought to the table, it was not spicy, but I still drank it anyway. The same thing happened last time I visited, but I was hoping it was just a one off situation. Last time, someone in my party was ready for a refill of her soda before my Michelada ever came. So moral of the story here is, if you order a drink other than a soda or a bottled beer, expect to wait 30 minutes for your drink to be served even though you might be the only party dining in cuz they clearly give priority to their take out orders. As far as the food, that was also disappointing this time. I do love their quesabirria taco, but this time the tortilla was a little soggy and started breaking apart. I also ordered the Vampiro taco with chicken, and this time in particular, for some reason, it had a fishy taste to it. When we told the server about this, all she could do was to knock off the drink off our order because she claimed that everything was made with fresh ingredients. Since I ordered the michelada, she was able to knock off the taco for me. So sad to say I don't plan on coming back here again. Which sucks because it's so convenient after I get my nails done next-door. But every time I've been there, I do feel not as prioritized because of all the to go orders that come in and there only being one server at a time. I get that can be stressful to handle, but I would think making a drink for people dining in should come before checking out a to go order. read more

I'm very impressed! My husband and I came here for dinner. The server was very friendly. We told her this was our first time here. She gave us some time to look over the menu and answered some questions that we had about the drinks and specials. She bought out some chips and salsa. The chips were very good and warm. The salsa included three different salsa and one avocado salsa. One of the salsa was very hot but very delicious. We ordered the street taco special, which included 4 street tacos, rice and beans.. I got carne asada and my husband got cabeza. He loved the cabeza and said it had a lot of flavor The portions were very generous and I was full after one street taco! The beans were my favorite. You can order to go or sit and eat, full bar, buy one get one burrito FREE, complimentary chips w/salsa (red & green) and guacamole. Was not a fan of the red salsa not a hint of spice however the green salsa was good. Menudo is served daily have not tried yet as it was made the previous day so I am waiting for when it is fresh. The tacos are good, the place is not busy so if you want to come and eat tacos in peace and quiet you can do it here. I took mine to go and was disappointed when I saw I had 2 carne and 2 chicken tacos when I ordered 3 carne and 1 chicken. I prefer their carne, the chicken taco doesn't have much flavor to me. This place is an odd vibe. The loud Spanish rock and roll was interesting. Never heard that before. The tall chairs were comfy and the server was kind / attentive. But the food wasn't for me. Here's what we got: Carnitas Taco - The pork was Juicy but super bland. Only had onions added and those were didn't help at all. Not a traditional carnitas street taco. Grilled Chicken Taco - The chicken was super dry and also bland. No real flavor. I drenched it in salsa to try and get it down. Drunken Chicken Taco - This taco was a bit larger than the other two with some melted cheese. The flavor is deep savory that borders on a Tex/Mex style. Not quite bitter but close. Chips and Salsa - These were good. The chips were not flimsy and appropriately salted. The salsas were good and not overly hot. I try a lot of tacos and Mexican food around the valley. This place was nearby to a meeting we had so that's why we chose it. I won't be making a return trip. There's a ton of great taco spots there but this place wasn't one of them. I was in this restaurant on Saturday, I was waiting to pick up an order. My arm brushed up against a wall that had live electrical wires that were exposed to anyone walking into the restaurant and got zapped by the live wire. We tried this place for the first time last night. the typical rice and beans where full of flavor. Having said that the rest of the meal was far below our expectations. we had hard shell tacos as well as some rolled all with shreded beef, presentation was nice but they get low marks for the rest taco shells and rolled where thick and chewy. We decided to stop in on Mother's Day to enjoy some tacos and margaritas. There is nothing I love more than avoiding giant crowds and enjoying my time out supporting a local spot. We really liked the vibe when we walked in. While the bar is small is looks great and feels larger with the large window at the entrance. There are also high tops and tables with cozy chairs if you don't want to sit at the bar. We were told we could sit anywhere wed like. I knew quickly I was going to try a Quesabirria taco with consommé as well as carne asada with side of rice and beans. We also ordered rolled tacos as an appetizer. Along with a few other tacos as well. They brought complimentary chips and salsa. While the chips were great the salsa they same with it was so watery. We picked up some other ones from their salsa bar and loved them. The green one had an awesome kick and a red with great chunks of tomato etc and flavor.service was awesome and we had everything in no time. The rolled tacos were topped with fresh avocado and cheeses. So good! My Quesabirria was phenomenal and I'm mad I didn't order multiple. My carne asada taco was ok but a bit dry. The adovada taco was a hit and the flavor of the mango sauce hit the spot. The chicken taco you guessed it ...delicious as well. All in all great stop. I ordered thru uber eats and I waited over an hr past my initial expected time which was initially like forty- five min to an hour. The enchiladas were refrigerator cold. None of the cheese was melted. The portions of rice and beans were a couple spoons full. Didn't even half way fill their division of the container. I asked for no ice in my drink. Got plenty of ice. New spot just opened two weeks ago. First..the most amazing smell of roasted chilis engulfs you when you walk in. Ahhhhh! Drinks...Mexican sodas only. Love the authentic vibe here. the meats are grilled on a flat top, not charbroiled over flames. this was a disappointment. They have a delicious horchata drink. Chips came with guacamole and a salsa, both were good, although big chunks of avocado needed to be broken up with a chip. Server recognized this. the best part of my meal was the queso fundido (melted cheese) with chorizo. They served with more chips, I would have liked corn tortillas, but I forgot to order them and wasn't asked when order taken.
