Very welcoming staff. Not overpriced. Delicious coffee and baked goods. Love the atmosphere. Perfect Sunday morning spot.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this GEM hidden in a cute touristy town in southern Indiana! I ordered a caffeine free iced tea (Elderberry Hibiscus) and my partner got a chai. Happy to see decaf and caffeine free options as not everyone can tolerate high levels, but still like to partake in a morning beverage. My partner can be picky about his chai, but he thoroughly enjoyed this one. I also ordered the Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich and just WOW. Melt in your mouth sugary flaky maple bread, and the mustard, aioli, and jam were a fantastic combination! I love me some sauce! I would eat this every morning for breakfast or lunch! Seeing how good my sandwich was, my partner, went back to grab an apple doughnut, and it was just as delicious! Parking on a weekend is basically impossible unless you pay. Friendly and fast service at a good price.

Nothing but kudos for this eatery. The location, the folks running the store, the decor and absolutely delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffees. Started off with walking in and seeing how quaint the decor of the inside is. Felt like being at an older relatives house where they have all the family history and pics up on the walls. Plenty of room and tables galore. Wander in and up to the showcase where we checked out the easy to read menu on the wall and the incredibly nice folks asking us if we needed any help or suggestions. Very talkative but not overbearing at all. Just very nice and never felt rushed. We order, go sit down and wait for our name to be called. The acoustics of inside were very pleasant. I am very soft voiced and tend to freak out if it's too loud in a restaurant but never had an issue because it's so quiet. We get our drinks and sandwiches. The sandwiches were in cardboard boxes which I personally think is a waste as I'd rather have a washable plate since we ordered to eat inside. I got the ham and cheese and the lovely Mrs ordered the avocado egg and cheese and these are served in their signature voilant which it like a donut and a croissant had a baby. They were soooooooooo tasty! Drinks were hog chai tea and the salt creek caramel macchiato. Again, everything was delicious and I'd for sure go again when back in Nashville, Indiana...

Great service, great coffee and great layered donuts So many options to choose from. I look forward to coming back many more times!

This place was recently renovated into an upscale coffee and donut shop, which was what Nashville needed! There are two separate seating rooms with plenty of space to sit without being crowded. It's a great location on the main road right as you come into town. Prices are comparable with all major chain coffee shops. But the difference is that here, you are paying for great quality! This is honestly the best iced latte I've ever had, makes me wish I lived closer! Donuts do not compare with chains -- much different shape & texture, but so wonderful! I had the lemon hibiscus and was impressed. Service was quick, but I visited on a Sunday afternoon. Clean & easily accessible restrooms are always a bonus!

Delicious coffee and volent donuts! Adorable coffee shop with great customer service. Somewhat expensive but definitely worth it.

Amazing coffee shop with Volants and sandwiches . These Volants seem to be a cross between donuts and croissants and come in many flavors. Not to be missed!

OMG! This coffee shop was recommended to us by Nashville business owners and it did not disappoint. These were not donuts, they are volants (different flavored, croissant-like, yumminess). We went twice. Their sandwiches are just as delicious. We had the Monte Cristo and a ham, egg & cheese on an everything volant. This will be our first stop on our next visit.

Another fun shop at the corner of S Van Buren St and Franklin St

The staff was extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped with any questions that we had. The owner was super friendly and also said she just opened a gift shop down the street and also lives in town. Her brother and one of her employees helped us the day prior and they live in town as well. They also have a coffee or tea to sample on a table in the seating area. There are a few tables to sit at and a couch and chairs in the seating area. They were 7 of us so we enjoyed many items on the menu. The highlights were vanilla chai latte (my fave), the peach tea, and the s'mores latte. There are plenty of items in the shop for purchase related to tea and coffee and you can browse for quite a while. I highly recommend this shop and the delightful owner and I will certainly stop in again.

We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. Having stayed at an inn just down the road, we wanted to get a hot tea to warm up before our day off walking around town. We are so glad to have found Sweetea's! We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day. We were able to started parked in the lot while at the visitors center and the shops in the surrounding square which was very handy. Loved this place, will definitely be back next time we visit Brown Co!

It turned out, they had to make my iced tea special, because they weren't allowed to use the tap water because of some boil order that was established in the area. OK! They were able to pivot and make me my unsweetened ice tea with bottled water, instead. My iced tea was great and just what I wanted. What customer service! I wish I wanted some baked goods while I was here, because this place has all of the homemade-looking baked goods. Peanut butter cookies in a Tupperware container, bread pudding covered in plastic wrap, apple pie in a metal pie dish. All of the baked goods look like they were made by someone's grandma. And they looked like they were labeled by someone's grandpa, carefully, in grandpa handwriting. Nashville General Store has a breakfast and lunch menu along with baked goods, with a big indoor dining room that you can sit in and enjoy your meal. Breakfast foods include pancakes, quiche and breakfast sandwiches; lunch options include things like sandwiches, soups, salads and sides. This place is also a store. We spent $45 for lunch for two but it sure seemed worth it.
