The food was amazing. First arrival at 9 AM we stepped inside the building. There were three women scattering around, not really noticing us at first actually they did notice us. They just kept laughing and talking amongst themselves not a proper greeting in my book. Finally someone came over and seated us when I ordered something off the menu they said "we don't have that today" I mean it was first thing in the morning. She could've said hey I just wanna let you know we're out of this major dish. Lol it was a bit of a guessing game. Do you have this? Do you have that? All the while there was loud commotions at the ice machine and laughing and talking amongst the servers. I will say the food was absolutely amazing. They cooked it exactly spot on, and her waitress ended up smiling and being friendly towards the end, I really appreciated the ambience and the quality of the food. I find it interesting that the bread does not come buttered. They bring it dry and you have to ask for butter. The one thing that was my absolute favorite was the potatoes I mean what is there to be excited about with the potato? Well, evidently at this place they found a way to do it then all my 56 years on this planet, I've never seen it done that way and they're absolutely 100% amazing well done! My only suggestion is don't play rock music from the 70s first thing in the morning. There's also a very strange mirror with a stuttered skeleton hanging on it that was quite out of context. I wasn't sure how to feel being in that space I wanted to love it, but there's too much chaos and loudness for my morning. OK the biscuits and gravy were really good. My husband said it was reminiscent of his mom's biscuits and gravy, which is a bacon grease gravy. I don't prefer that. I do prefer sausage gravy but if you grew up on bacon grease gravy you're gonna love this one. It's a bit too blend for me. if you like the greasy flavor of bacon gravy, you're going to enjoy this. It barely came covering the biscuit so he ordered extra gravy on the side. It just wasn't enough to cover the biscuit barely, but the cup they brought out was sufficient.

Server wasn't very pleasant. Food is completely overpriced for what it is. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing and their savory breakfast isn't what they're known for. NGL I had high expectations but this feels like an overpriced hipster spot which usually I don't mind bc the food is usually amazing but $120 for four people, 2 had lattes, 2 had biscuits and gravy (bland bland bland bland gravy & very very very dry biscuit "muffins"), 2 had the breakfast "kitchen sink". Now the most popular breakfast dish, the "kitchen sink" was pretty tasty. Ham was good! But really just unbelievable prices! If I were you, I'd get an order of the fried green tomatoes (ok you got me, these were the best fried green tomatoes we have ever had so I HAVE to give that dish props) and a few waters and grab food elsewhere. I hate to hit this place so low bc it is beyond adorable but it's a bit pretentious. The server was nice but in a rude pushy way. We tried three times to get in here and we finally found a time that we could all make it work. I wish we wouldn't have cause then I'd never know how disappointing it would be. The lattes were good, nothing amazing but good. I had a lavender mimosa it was ok. I wish we could've tried the Bloody Mary and the lavender dessert but we were told it had to be thrown out bc it looked bad ... um ewwww. I found this place on TikTok, influencers can really make a place look amazing. I wish it would've lived up to the expectations they set in their post I plan on returning just to see if we just ordered the wrong thing bc it has such great reviews and I can't help but feel like I'm maybe missing something. We return in January so I'll update if I have a different outcome! Maybe they can train their servers to be a little more helpful and polite and less pushy and annoyed by then. The hostess peeps were sweet as could be though!

Overall a solid breakfast option! I've come to realize over the years that I'm a breakfast snob, so apologies if you disagree. The apple cider dirty chai was a fun idea but the flavors didnt meld together as easily as I hoped. The cider was good and the chai was good but they tasted a bit off together. The food hit the spot for the most part! The biscuits in the scrap pile were buttery and flaky! The gravy was good but not quite the "country homestyle" flavor profile you might find at grammy's house. The breakfast burrito was delicious and well-seasoned! Pancake was also good! Our server was very sweet and helpful when we asked about the menu. She was also attentive despite the many other tables she had throughout the rest of the house. At least from the sections we saw, they had mostly tables for small groups (2-5) so a large group might have to split up a bit. The fall/Halloween decor inside and outside were so cute and cozy.

I've been past here 100 times, you have too....but it's hidden. This place is a gem! The staff are all super friendly and so welcoming. Nestled behind trees and bushes this is a delightful breakfast spot . The breakfast burrito hit the spot. Even better was the pancakes. Cold brew is thick and an eye opener. Make a reservation to be sure you get a spot.

This was a solid 5 star until I got my food. Love the aesthetic. Good (loud) music. Very friendly host and server. Love the food and drink options. My blueberry lavender tea was excellent. I loved it all. But if I'm being honest, I didn't love my biscuits and gravy. But to be fair, biscuit and gravy is something I rarely order at a restaurant because I'm almost always disappointed. The B&G here looked impressive with the HUGE muffins-style biscuit. But I just didn't love the gravy. Even with added salt and pepper, I didn't love it. But I'd definitely return. I'd like to try their sweet potato waffle.

This is a really cute and cozy spot for a meal. It is busy and a bit loud, but I think definitely worth the wait especially with so much nearby. I got the fried green tomato BLT. This is a massive sandwich and the bacon was crispy and the tomato was cooked to perfection. This is the type of sandwich you need a knife and fork for. They also have craft sodas that are made in Indiana, and it was perfectly crisp and refreshing!

Eggs Benedict. Wish there had been a side of potatoes or greens included.

Cute little cafe in the heart of Nashville Indiana. My apple cider chai was a great start to my visit. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict with carrots and asparagus. A combo I'd never had before! Service was quick and I was immediately seated at around 9am on a Wednesday morning in mid November. I imagine it is quite busy during peak season!

Quaint spot with so much charm. We were seated outdoors in a gazebo. The Cosmo was the perfect cocktail to start the meal. The salmon with cream sauce over potatoes with roasted Brussels sprouts and broccoli was delicious. Would like to come back for brunch.

We will be back! Our server was very friendly and informative. The food quality and variety was spot on! Their coffee drinks are amazing as well!

Delicious, unique menu and very friendly staff! The ambiance is so cute and quaint! We enjoyed a great girls brunch on a Friday morning and thoroughly enjoyed it! We hope to visit again!

Incredible breakfast! Starting with the host staff. The young man was very pleasant and sat me at the bar since I did not have a reservation. Jennifer the bartender was amazing! Very friendly and great breakfast conversation. Jennifer is a very intriguing individual with her travels! The breakfast was amazing!!!! Delicious and filling. I would highly recommend making reservations at this restaurant when in Brown County. Very unique building with multiple seating areas; to include outside seating .

Egg whites, avocado, black beans on a corn tortilla.

We arrived in Nashville on a weekday, Friday, and headed straight to the Bird's Nest, which sounded like the best option for our GF and vegan lifestyles. The waitress was helpful in helping determine options since there were few. We both chose egg whites, avocado, black beans and corn tortillas. The food was OK. I found it odd that the beans were underneath the tortillas, which were hard, making it awkward to break apart the tortillas for a bite size piece. Would have preferred the beans between or on the flat tortillas, or even better, all the ingredients in a bowl with a few chips instead of the tortillas. But it is a nice atmosphere, eclectic vibe and friendly staff.

Birds Nest is THE BEST quality food in town. Although it may take a bit to get your food, it is well worth it. Everything is so well seasoned and the menu changes seasonally. A few stand out menu items are the Bad Hombre, the French Toast and their home made jam! There is nowhere else near Brown County that can even come close. Be sure to make reservations!!

The staff was extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped with any questions that we had. The owner was super friendly and also said she just opened a gift shop down the street and also lives in town. Her brother and one of her employees helped us the day prior and they live in town as well. They also have a coffee or tea to sample on a table in the seating area. There are a few tables to sit at and a couch and chairs in the seating area. They were 7 of us so we enjoyed many items on the menu. The highlights were vanilla chai latte (my fave), the peach tea, and the s'mores latte. There are plenty of items in the shop for purchase related to tea and coffee and you can browse for quite a while. I highly recommend this shop and the delightful owner and I will certainly stop in again.

We arrived on the main thoroughfare in Nashville on a Monday morning around 10:30 am in October - the high season in this leaf peeping area. Having stayed at an inn just down the road, we wanted to get a hot tea to warm up before our day off walking around town. We are so glad to have found Sweetea's! We got a great parking spot in the small lot and went right in. The shop is cozy and filled with teas, tea related gifts, and some other fun Brown County & Indiana knickknacks. I tried their cherry almond tea latte with oat milk and my mom had a maple tea. We both loved our selections. Exactly what we needed to warm up before a brisk shopping adventure. There's some family style seating at two round tables up front and a couch and chairs in the back. By the time we left people were starting to file in as the shops all opened up for the day. We were able to started parked in the lot while at the visitors center and the shops in the surrounding square which was very handy. Loved this place, will definitely be back next time we visit Brown Co!
