The server behind the counter was very helpful, describing the various goodies. It was hard to choose. I ended up with a chocolate chip cookie, a cappuccino chocolate candy cup, a loaf of whole wheat sourdough bread and one of their specialty items which I can't name. When going to pay, they individually wrapped the items and then threw them into a bag. It was so much plastic, I was a bit shocked. I'd have preferred a box that I could easily recycle. I can say that both my husband and I started experiencing some tummy issues that night, so take that as you may. Not sure how long the items are sitting out and on weekdays, I imagine they've been there for a good minute. We weren't blown away with the selection or the service, and with the price point and tummy issues, we probably won't go out of our way to come back here again.

My cake ended up being uneven and lopsided. it was not smooth in any place, the flower in the center was supposed to be a hydrangea and it ended up being some weird spikey leaf looking thing. It also looked like it was half way melted. One of my guests saw it and actually asked the baker if it had been melted, and her response was that it was supposed to look that way. It was awful. Definitely not something the owner should have been proud of or even let out of her store. It is quite sad that I wont hang up any of my cake cutting pictures because of how bad it looked.
